What would you do if left unattended during your reincarnation? What would you choose from an endless list of abilities for your next life? Time is short to select what skills you need in your next life. The hero of this story chooses a life of wealth and prosperity, but in a world of infinite magical possibilities, plans are quickly disrupted.
Storme finds himself reincarnated into a Dyson Sphere stabilized with powerful aetheric magic. Fantastical creatures, terrible dangers, and treacherous dungeons are abundant. It doesn't take long before he succumbs to the adventurer's life.
Please note this is the pre-edited version that is available on Amazon. The edits were extremely heavy to tone it down from a PG-13 rating to a PG rating. Some characters changed a bit for motivations as well. It can be found for free on Royalroad under the title World Sphere.

It might be interesting if given the opportunity, but I'm not in the mood. Started reading because I wanted to know how, given the opportunity to freely select magic/supernatural powers among other birth parameters, someone can screw it up. — The answer is: poor choices.
Out of an undisclosed list of presumably infinite possibilities, the MC's grand plan is to mint coins. Not knowing what circumstances he'll encounter at birth, his abilities are: metal creation and metal shaping/manipulation. Presumably, he didn't have much time to think it through, but that is a poor plan. The MC doesn't know the basic points of how to keep a secret: two leakage points in five chapters, first confiding everything to his groomed* friend-bodyguard (which is like 12 years old), in the process his sister overhears everything (also young, impulsive — but thank god doesn't spill the beans immediately), at a later date, he's exchanging words with his friend about coin creation in a public bath.
Groomed*: it's a strong word. In truth, he just befriended a same age, big and strong kid with the foresight of relying on his aid in the future. I see nothing wrong with it. In spite, it is true that he formed that friendship with a goal in mind, instilling "brotherhood" from a very young age into the kid's mind.
Why might you be interested in reading further? The world the MC is in is a Dyson sphere with a radius exceeding 1 AU (~7 light minutes). A very big world with a variety of species, magic, and likely the technology of whoever built the Dyson sphere in the first place. (There's actually more than one Dyson sphere: and it is not a swarm, but a solid shell). Cons: MC spawns in a medieval society living on a floating island. From the beginning, MC wanted a leisurely life. It is up to the author when the MC actually gets out of the island to explore the wider world. Likely that it is external pressure that forces the MC out of his shell... I bet that he is forced out after having lost everything. Or he never leaves the island.
In short, don't expect much intelligence from the MC. The world has potential. Given he's spawned into medieval floating islands, it wouldn't be unexpected if a more technologically advanced species invades.

Honestly great, I haven't seen the first scribblehub chapters since I directly bought the rewrite on Amazon after finishing soldiers life (same author)
When I saw book 3 (rewrite) wouldn't come out for another couple months I decided to read the original version of book 3 on scribblehub.
I'm pretty sure the rewrite has some heavy adjustments (probably necessary with the non competing clause of Amazon) but overall it remains great. I also loved the original version of book 3 and would recommend everyone to give the book a try.
The rewrites are €5 on Amazon, but you can also read it for free on scribblehub if your short on money and don't mind the lower quality.
All in all, I think everyone should already upvote it for the sole reason of the original version still being available on scribblehub.

I like the direction the story is headed now, before the rewrite I though this was going to be a rats nest. But the author new direction is solid. Though the release dates are all over the place, only detractor.
