The story starts off strong, but slowly gets worse due to many inconsistencies in the writing quality. Its as if the author has selective short term amnesia. Every single character POV, including the MC's, is basically non-canon filler, where large portions are contradicted a mere chapter or 2 later. I just don't understand the point of it. Maybe I'm underselling it? You honestly can't go a few chapters without a story altering contradiction being added to the fray.

As for the world, it's somewhat interesting, but it's drowned out by the visual novel setting. The characters? I don't know, most of them have a surface level personality, fit to change and alter as the story sees fit. The combat? Again it alters as the story sees fit. The magic system? Surface level, but to be fair the the MC only just started learning it... because the story sees fit she should start only now and not sooner. The comedy? It's surprisingly good.

Overall, it's worth reading at least the first 20 chapters for the entertainment value. Beyond that is really up to how much you can stomach. I'll probably be done with this one for a good while.

First things first, people who are a sucker for details and consistency, probably won't like this.

The key part of this novel is in the interactions and, to a lesser part, the action.

World setting is still shrouded in mystery, although there are a few points we find out, it is kind of inconsistent, or just chaotic.

The MC tends to break character quite often as of late, I don't know what to think about that.

I do like how everyone has their own, separate line of thought, it still feels a little forced, but it is above average.

PoV and scene changes are the roughest, since if the characters talking aren't introduced first, I have no idea if it was a PoV or scene change.

It is kind of sad how the idea of having to follow two different timelines introduced at the beginning was trashed, I think it is for the better.

I would like if there was a title separation for different arcs.

MC has some consistency issues and if I tried to look a bit harder, rather than enjoying the story I could probably find more of it for other characters, but frankly I think it is more entertaining to not look at it from up close, and just go with the flow. I am not going to write any definite ones, both cause I'm too lazy to find the exact examples, but if you are curious, look hard at the fight scenes, then think about her (his) past life.

The four star is mainly for the inconsistency, but also because of those higher being, that I'm not sure what the author intends to do with, just please, don't raise it to a cosmic scale.

First of all an amazing story, I really enjoyed it.

Character wise honestly you did a fantastic job with it. Maria is the best written character because of the way she acts and interacts with the world (also with the whole gender bender thing and her identity). Besides her you also have characters like Samantha, Claude, Max and Adrian, plus Veronica. Honestly they are all great characters especially Sam and Veronica
