Humankind had begun to develop supernatural abilities that are presently referred to as Gifts. These abilities can vary from person to person, things like the ability to create fire, control water, teleport, and whatever else you can think of!

All people in the world have a gift, but each Gift is considerably more powerful than the next. Even if you share the same ability as someone, theirs might be significantly weaker or stronger than yours.

The moment that a child receives their Gift, they are graded based on the potential and power of their Gift! A majority of children receive normal colors! Blue, Green, Purple! The average citizen will find themself somewhere in this criteria, one way or another. There aren't a lot of grades since the abilities that people have are typically rather simple. Grades are just a metric that can make gauging a difference in power ten times easier!

St. Charlotte's Gifted Juvenile Detention Center is a facility held in high regard for decades, founded to house the most troublesome Gifted children who choose not to use their abilities for good. There must always be an order to things, but this order is a lot different than how it seems on the surface.

It is true that St. Charlotte's takes in and rehabilitates Juvenile Gifted children, who are titled 'Tainted', but this doesn't begin to scratch the surface of how awful it really is in there!

Inmate - 0009 spent his entire life in the confinements of the deepest part of the facility, graded Black because of his ability. He had no name, no history, and no records. But, on one faithful day, he is called by the 'Mother' of the facility that lurked beneath the institution.

Given a chance at freedom, Nine is given the task of attending school! If that wasn't hard enough, he'll have to follow the orders given to him if he wants to keep that freedom while fending off his wicked siblings!
