I'm planning to make this story very explicit.
Expect a lot of:

- This story will have soft Litrpg elements.
- A straight forward MC
No whining, expect the worst from this story.

This is my first attempt at writing, so we'll see how it goes. Chapters are subject to change, but hopefully not too often. There is no release schedule at the moment, and I'll update the tags as time goes on.

The idea is good, essentially an upgrade to the classic slime novel, the smut focus is interesting, but the execution is just bad.

Spoiler

The first problem is the first romantic encounter being interrupted, a cliché and poor precedent.

The second problem is the interrogation and torture session that impossibly turns into s*x for literally no understandable reason. Which is followed by the assassin who is his torturer and friend's killer falling in love with him!? Which is just weird, cringy and makes no sense. Then all of a sudden all the assassins leave for no reason at all and everything is fine!? And it does seem like it will awkwardly get pushed through as a romance despite it being the worst basis for any relationship I've ever seen.

The third problem is the way in which he spills the beans to Jen, he does so at a bad time in a sloppy manner. He should have won her over a bit more first or something, and done a partial reveal instead of just spilling everything right away.

The fourth issue is the prostitute. She is essentially a weak nobody he shouldn't care about while he has far better women around him that he's actually interested in and should be pursuing, but despite all that she just randomly inserts herself into his life and takes charge of him like he's some sort of personal s*x pet which he happily goes along with. It was frankly kinda gross for me and I skimmed the last couple chapters. (A previously non submissive male who randomly becomes a sub and literally cleans out his but hole for a complete nobody.) I think it's best to just keep characters as submissive or dominant and not have them switch randomly back and forth for literally no reason at all, especially for random throw away characters that don't matter.

Lastly the relationships with women that are relevant, interesting and believable keep getting pushed back and tossed aside by literally trash characters in unbelievable and ridiculous ways (the assassin-torturer-friend-killer and the friend's-adoptive-prostitute-mom), while Jen and the Adventurer Elf are sidelined repeatedly while the MC doesn't even seem interested in them and is becoming harder to understand and make sense of as a character.

So all in all I'm just not optimistic about where this novel is at at the moment, though it does seem to be a learning experience for the author and they're improving. Writing quality is fine though.
