Riley Marshall is just an average young woman - going through the monotony of everyday life in order to support living by herself after having finally gained the ability to move away from her abusive Aunt and Uncles home. Ever since her parents died when she was much younger, she has been living a life full of grey - lacking colour and experiences - fearing for her safety.

On her way home from the library she is working at, she comes across a scene straight from an isekai novel where a young girl is crossing the green light pedestrian crossing only for a truck to come speeding towards her - the driver asleep at the wheel. Riley, seemingly pitying that a young life would come to an end decides to sacrifice herself to save the young girl.

The young girls Guardian Angel, Elandrial, is overcome with emotion at seeing Riley's sacrifice - for a girl with such a tragic past to voluntarily give her life to save someone else moves her. She requests her boss, The God of Reality, to give Riley the opportunity to live again in another world much like Earth.

Now Riley is in another world - much like her old one - with a system to help guide her into making new experiences to make up for her traumatic life before.

***I'm a novice writer! I just want to do something to distract myself and I enjoy reading other peoples books all the time. So I decided to write something for myself to see how it goes.

The world will basically be the same as normal Earth, perhaps a bit more advanced, with a large mixture of supernatural/fantastical elements hidden under the surface - which the protagonist won't necessarily interact with all that quickly. It will be a Self Insert style novel where I will be writing primarily in first person - from Riley's perspective. With maybe the additional POV from other characters down the line.

I have added the fanfiction tag as Riley will receive skills and abilities that might relate to other worlds. I may also add characters from other worlds into my world. I will also have her using music from her past life as her own in her new life.

Riley won't be reborn in her new world - she will be dropped in with a slightly edited body that fits the new world.

She won't be a slave to the system - it is simply there to guide her. Quests will NOT have punishments.
