The only thing that Safwan knew about his mother's family was that they have lands upon lands under their name, be it paddy fields, rubber plantations, palm oil plantations and orchards. However, greed was prevalent in human nature, so clash and fights over the inheritance were frequent. This resulted in Safwan and his siblings never met his mother's side of the family at all. Except his great-grandfather, the sole owner of those coveted lands, who he met when he was seven.
Now the old patriarch laid in his deathbed, and fights for his inheritance ensues. But it was not only lands and wealth that the old settler owns, at least in the normal world. He has his helpers or 'servants', and the inheritance of these entities will open Safwan's eyes to the unseen world while also questioning him on his faith and morality.

This is my first time writing and what better story to start other than my recent revelation that the urban legend actually ran in my family. Also in this story there will be based on my country, so expect many cultural and behavior differences than the west.
