This is a very enjoyable short story - we liked the science-fiction-esque approach to the worldbuilding, and we like the main cast and the very naturalistic ways they deal with an objectively strange situation. The story as a whole is very light and wish-fulfillment-y, but it doesn't feel forced at all - the protagonists are being careful and succeeding on their knowledge and abilities. I think if you, like we, are browsing for trans fic on Scribblehub after having read a dozen or more other trans fics on Scribblehub, you will have a thoroughly pleasant time.
