Synopsis

In a remote corner of Unova, a Pokémon village hides from the omnipresent, mysterious humanity. Through cooperation, they flourish despite their small size, rising above the uncaring brutality of the natural order. Which works remarkably well...

...until a half dead girl shows up on their doorstep.

Will this hidden pocket of Pokémon civilization remain a secret once humans come looking? Are its denizens prepared to learn just who this unwelcome stranger is, and what impact they’ve already left on their village?

Drama-focused mystery thriller focusing heavily on humanity being “the other”, trauma, and trust.

This is a shockingly good story, and I can’t wait for more. I will admit to low expectations going in simply considering it’s a Pokémon fanfic, but in this case it’s a pleasure to have those expectations upended. The author conveys each characters emotions in a masterful way that truly impacts the reader. The story so far is good and seems to have at least some direction. If the author can maintain this quality while consistently moving the plot forward this story will be a gem.
