I've always been bothered by the way power scaling works in High School DxD, especially after the high-class devil ranking. As someone with a "VERY VERY MILD" OCD, it's damn irritating when characters and power levels aren't characterized accurately and neatly organized. Furthermore, the concept of boosted gears and the integration of multiple pantheons into the anime, only for the focus to be on boobs and a perverted high school protagonist, feels like an ginormous waste of creative potential.

Take Sirzechs Lucifer. Dude's got Ultimate Class Magic running through his veins since birth, inheriting Bael's destructive magic – sounds like a legit boss, but nope, he turns into a siscon character and fades into the background. There are so many characters, some show growth while most of them become irrelevant over the traversal of the series and become spectators.

So, I decided to create a new power scaling system and then study some history and try to create a fanfic which will try to be more realistic and self consistent. Expect other pantheons and mythologies who will play important roles and a more rational progression of strength. Now, full disclosure, this is my first shot at writing, so I'm ready for a showdown between my expectations and what actually goes down. I'm all ears for some constructive ideas and criticism, not just random 'this sucks.' The story kicks off like 500 years before the regular plot, back when the Devil Civil War between the 'Old Satan Faction' and the 'New Satan Faction' was still brewing. (As per canon, Sirzechs was 60 when the war started).

So, picture this: your classic reincarnation trope kicks in, but with a twist – more realism, more logic. The MC ends up in the spotlight, and he's here to break the mold. Imagine all that untapped potential that Sirzechs just let go to waste? Well, our MC isn't about that life. He's a pioneer, paving the way for something big – a universal growth method that actually makes sense.

Instead of just riding their inherited bloodline talent, he's like, 'Nah, I'm gonna do more.' He's gonna blaze a whole new trail, tapping into that crazy potential. Unlike most reincarnators he doesn't have the knowledge of canon events and even the only reason why he realized he was in the anime world was because his friend told him about the amusing fact of how two of the underworld's strongest satans are both siscons and how the anime referred from the 72 Demons of Ars Goetia.

Determined to reshape the world and, well, mostly avoid becoming a siscon himself, he taps into untapped potential that the original character had never discovered. Taking cues from other anime and manga he's consumed, he plans on becoming stronger to reach the peak of the world. He shatters the limitations of inherited bloodline talent and ignites a movement to push boundaries and forge a new path of strength.

Watch his journey as our MC navigates a realm infused with diverse pantheons and mythologies. His actions create a butterfly effect and his ever-growing strength unfortunately attracts attention, the wrong kind. The good thing, he isn't some emo character who lost everything. He has people who will face the dangers with him, strong people he cultivates, factions that he builds and people whom he protects.
