Lumina Greyrat (MC)
Lumina was once a good-for-nothing NEET whose worth amounted to nearly nothing. She was born and raised in Japan, her parents giving her the name of _______

Her parents could barely stand to look at her when she began to become reclusive. In fact, they decided to treat her like some guest they had never seen in their lives, a freeloader rather than their own daughter. In their eyes, Lumina had spat on their expectations of her in favor of playing around in her room alone for years.

Yet, Lumina never got the chance to prove them wrong. Partially because she had no way to prove them wrong. But for the most part, Lumina had made a decision that permanently barred her from ever interacting with them again.

One particularly rainy night in late 2012, she saved a group of three high school students from a truck barrelling down the street a few blocks away from her home. While nobody knows what happened to the three students who had shortly after disappeared without a trace, the NEET that was once Lumina had suffered fatal injuries due to throwing away her life to save the three.

She lived a wholly unfulfilling life full of regret and pettiness. However, now presented with another shot at life, Lumina picks herself up and takes a step forward.

Paul Greyrat

The (Fairly Deadbeat) Father of Lumina Greyrat

Paul Greyrat was born into the Notos Greyrat family, to his eventual dismay. After years of being chastised by his father, Amarant Notos Greyrat, he ran away from home at the mere age of twelve. Thus, he threw away the Notos' name. He decided that he would become an adventurer to prove to himself that he was capable of being self-sufficient both with himself and his specialty--swordsmanship.

Paul recruited five other adventurers to form his party known as the Fangs of The Black Wolf. Over the years, the party gained great fame and renown all over the Central Continent as a rising S-ranked party. In doing so, Paul took a particular interest in women. He would lust after women with large breasts, an interest that was shared by many members of his bloodline. He'd even target his own party members, who would usually take it in stride. But after many accomplishments, Paul decided to try his luck with one of the party members that he hadn't touched prior--a healer who had run away from her home in Milishion of the Milis Continent, Zenith (Formerly Latria.)

What Paul wasn't expecting was for her to spring up with the news of her pregnancy after their first time. Deciding it too much of a bad idea to leave her be, he took responsibility and retired from adventuring to raise their soon-to-be-born baby. This fractured the party, leaving the four other members grasping at straws and a definite bad taste in their mouths. Without the swordsman and the healer in their party, they couldn't do anything but separate and forge ahead alone. Their grudges would be held for years to come after that.

Paul and Zenith eventually settled down in a rural village in the Fittoa Region of the Asura Kingdom after Paul had begged his cousin to provide him with a stable job. His cousin, Philip Boreas Greyrat, happened to be the son of the liege lord of the largest city in the Fittoa Region, effectively lending him some sway in the Region. Philip eventually gave Paul a job as a Knight in Buena Village, a village near a dangerous forest that spewed out monsters that needed to be taken care of. Months after settling down, the couple had their first child who they named Lumina Greyrat.
