Madison’s small town parents were not thrilled when she returned from her first year of university in the city having begun transitioning. Looking for a way to get her to rethink her choice, her sheltered and conservative parents found a bootcamp online that sounded like it would help. For her part, Madison was outraged and swore to escape.
If she’s paid a bit less attention to escape plans and more attention to the lessons she might realise how much her parents messed up, though.
AKA, my attempt to make a ‘force butch’ story.

At the time I’m writing this, this book isn’t complete yet, but I’d just like to say that this has everything in it I’ve come to love from Beedok and more. The plot is a little bit heartwarming and heartbreaking at the same time, the characters are authentic, and of course the lesbians are amazing as lesbians usually are. It’s also refreshing as a butch trans woman to see more stories written about developing and living into that identity. It makes me feel seen and makes me smile with every new chapter I read. Thank you.
