Sam-ika has done an excellent job with this story. The tags and subject matter blend together very well. Not everyone can make detective work mix with the supernatural and still be compelling, but Sam-ika has absolutely managed it.
Each of Sam-ika's characters are finely crafted. Their personalities shine throughout the text. I never find myself confused about someones motivations or misunderstanding what a character is doing.
I love how well the scenes are painted, and I feel a high degree of vivid description like this deserves recognition. Overall I love pacing, the chapter sizes, the story direction, and characters.
Highly recommend this fic.
