I was a fan of the ASOIAF series in the past, and still am, but not as crazy as in the past. If you're familiar with the original books and shows, let me ask you a question: how come Viserys III Targaryen, the man who grew up as a beggar most of his life, still turned out to be a massive piece of work with an ego as big? You would think he had seen and gone through hardships, which would humble him a bit. But no... well, maybe he was just crazy like his father, which, yeah... can't argue with that.

But, I think he had high potential if he were a more sane and normal person. The canon does not go in-depth with his adventure through Essos. Just picture this: before he and Dany met Illyrio, they were wanderer beggars who ate scraps for more than half a decade. How they even survived was truly magic and sorcery in itself, considering how dumb and insufferable canon Viserys is.

So, what is the plan to fix and make it more interesting? Well, first, we take over Viserys' body and give some random fictional character from our modern world the soul of his body. Voila! The new MC of our new story will act as the new Viserys. We start the story prior to Robert's Rebellion when Viserys and Queen Rhaella still live and reside in Dragonstone.
