Millions of never seen before creatures are preparing to leave Earth's oceans, and they only have a single goal: to wipe out humanity. Now imagine that you are one of the unlucky first to actually meet such a creature in a public park of all places.
Experience this life altering experience from the perspective of Essie Whitfield, aged 23. She's introduced to soldiers of the US Air Force in a chance encounter, unexpectedly teaming up with them, trying to get rid of the things from hell.
Imagine talking to the brains behind these attacks on humanity, using a method alien to humans.
Witness these events through her eyes, while she changes from an ordinary human being into a powerful, fluffy Kitsune in love. Enjoy her bodily changes which quite soon prove to be pretty fluffy, destructive, and sometimes even surprisingly pleasurable.

Please enjoy, and if you have the time, let me know what you think of the story.
I enjoyed this story quite a bit.
the characters are fun to read, and the story flows naturally. I also enjoyed the romance quite a bit, it's so... fluffy.🥰
I did underestimate the story length though, I thought 'hmm 30 chapters a nice and short story I can quickly finish in a day or so', only to realize 3 chapters in: the average word count is 6000+ per chapter. By that time I was already invested and just continued reading😋.
the novel also feels well researched, there are quite a few military phrases and jargon that seem realistic to be used by actual military (there is also a glossary at the end the chapters to explain them)
the only minor complaint I have is that a Kitsune's favorite food (katsudon) was never mentioned. Might have made a fun reaction/gag. 😉
overall, fun story to read, but don't underestimate the length of the story.
