The Republic of Arisaka stands tall as the most powerful nation in the entire world. However, even this almighty superpower state of extraordinary metahumans and mages have struggled with an ancient conflict, one that has raged on for millennia—the war between humans, demons, and all sorts of supernatural beings in between. 

Hero Dimalanta is a young man that has taken up arms, working as a metahuman bounty hunter against such flesh-eating monsters ever since his early adolescence. He desires to one day fulfill his legendary namesake as Hero, even if it’s just being the Hero for the cute girl that he loves. Unfortunately, his life appears to be in a constant downward spiral of depression due to his past trauma and tragedies, as well as his current troubles and tribulations. 

On what was meant to be just a normal bounty job, Hero is nearly killed by the same demon that he was meant to hunt down, but an unexpected turn of events occurs before he meets his demise. The young Arisakan man has a fateful encounter with a compassionate angel girl, and is given an opportunity to finally achieve his dreams by this celestial beauty known as Violet Tsubasa—the chance to be the Hero, and perhaps to finally even be with his perfect dream girl, a literal angel goddess of the heavens.
