Incredible. Needs way more chapters. The LitRPG has one of the most straightforward systems I've ever seen. I wish many were this simple. Enough that it clearly relies on game elements but not too much that you're ever bogged down by stat screens. It's also really cool how the stats are part of the person in the world

I can't tell if Zalan is the MC when all the other characters are so interesting. Zalan is clearly the mysterious one, running from his past, but everyone else is so cool and makes me fear for their future if this is a story where characters die.

Don't sleep on this one, I'm telling you it gets better. The MC is going through mad depression and it's portrayed so well, and the story of finding the Homeseeker is so interesting. I still don't know whether this story actually intends to send him home or if it's gonna end with him accepting his place in the Isekai realm.

Fights are sick, especially when they reach the castle.

This is a story about CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT. And a very realistic one, at that. If you're looking for a "lights and explosions" type of read, you're in the wrong place. But if you're looking for a deep story that delves into overcoming personal flaws through a very well-written action-adventure story, then you're in for a TREAT.

Having read ahead on Patreon, I fully understand what the author is doing with each arc. Yes, the MC starts off "annoying" but he's surrounded by a cast of unique characters that help confront his flaws.

Just as in real life, there are no "quick fixes" to psychological wounds. The MC is allowed to overcome his trauma as any of us would; with support, with friends, with confronting his worse fears.

Once you understand this, you will understand how amazing this story is. It's a story about battling the demons within, but personified thru iseki.

Vinland Saga, Mob Psycho, these are stories that begin with "annoying" or flawed MCs, but anyone who has followed these two masterpieces know that the journey was the story. Funny enough, those MCs start off "overpowered" but their story arcs culminate when they realize that their power wasn't what defined them, but rather the relationships they forged in their character journeys.

All that aside, this is also a great mystery novel. All the details laid out in the first arc are relevant to all the arcs going forward.

I couldn't recommend this story enough!

Well the grammar is good, no issue there.

The plot is I nice and interesting though the litrpg seems like it’s a less important or not very actively used, like it’s a game and can only use it at a safe space like a town type feel.

The side characters I think feel right, more because the MC is useless than them but they’re still really well done.

The MC is annoying, like usually in these types of novels the MC is immediately skinned alive to make them feel that they aren’t dreaming, but in this novel it still hasn’t happened yet so the MC is just going through the motions of doing things but is so uncaring and unenthusiastic, it just makes it boring and sucks the joy out of the novel.
