I started a timer on my phone for 3 minutes, (later changing this to 5 minutes, then 10 minutes etc) and just wrote whatever came into my head. I realised pretty quickly that I came to love the two characters I had created.

The "story" is a completely random and ever changing series of events following two characters in a fantasy world. I try to inject comedy in my writing as much as I can, and I haven't been taking the writing seriously, due to it being churned out as quickly as possible with minimal to no editing.

This is simply an exercise in getting my creative juices going. And I don't expect anyone to actually enjoy it or find it well written. <<less

The blizzard rises day after day in the Frostbanks, forcing numbing snow and deadly winds onto the land and its people. In defiance to nature itself, the city of Oglios stands amidst the storm and even thrives thanks to the Suntower's protection, an artifact of old now relegated to simple fixture, its secrets fiercely guarded by the Scorched Circle, whose members regulate the flow of Returned, husks of the departed, in and out of the city.

Part of the larger nation of Gonphar, Oglios has obligations to respect if it wants to keep its relative independence, and the city's elite busies itself to fulfill their orders, supplying Gonphar as a whole with cheap labor in the ways of countless Returned. Meanwhile, the specter of war rears its dreadful head from across the mountains as border tensions with the Ehodan Kingdoms increase. Yet most ignore the threat, having more pressing concerns right within Oglios where warmth is limited, and free space is at a premium.

Three individuals converge during these trying times, lost in their personal struggles.

The Echo, an outsider in several degrees, returns to a family still mourning their mother's passing to uncover her wrongdoings. He would fulfill a promise, and perhaps find himself in the process, all the while having to conceal who and what he is.
The Dutiful reaches into criminal matters by authority of the Office of Inquiries. Held by guilt over her choices, she struggles to make it day-by-day, turning to Nostalgia for release. A thirst for vengeance fuels her will and keeps her going towards the ultimate goal.
The Collector, a mortician by trade, dwells in opposite circles. Pulled by decades old ties to the Circle, he stays loyal to the city in his own way by moving through the underworld in order to uproot corruption.

This is a work in progress, obviously. I want this to be a fully fleshed out novel eventually. It has a lot of moving pieces and things I'm still figuring out which is mostly still in my mind but I still wanted to put it out there, and hopefully get some feedback! Part 1
This part follows Andha Ild, a Fire mage, who gained his power from his family bloodline. When he lost his eye, he was rescued by a mysterious arcanist, to whom he becomes an apprentice. On top of learning the profession, he learns how after the calamity, families with magic bloodlines restricted both information and power from those without these bloodlines.

One day while training under the tower, he was chased by a cloud of disembodied hands, until he found a strange giant pit in the ground. He knew that some demons and invaders were sealed in these pits. But those pits were clearly marked. This pit was not, yet, here he is safe from the cloud of hands. One day the pit tells Andha that he can make a wish, if he sacrifices his arm. Remembering that those with bloodlines restricted those without, he wishes for all humans on this plane to have a magic bloodline. What happens next? (Current Part!)

Sora returned home to his beloved girlfriend at the Destiny Islands, Micky went back to Disney Castle, Donald returned to his family & Goofy went back to his son. 10 years later, The Magic Kingdoms decided to United so they can share resources, and citizens from every kingdom can interact with each other. As for Sora's Key Blade, Micky decides to put it in the Disney Museum so everyone can see it as a reminder of the one that saved them all.

The peace, however, didn't last for long and there were signs of the Heartless throughout all the kingdoms. With tensions rising and Sora who is in his late 20s, Micky decides to have a meeting between the rulers of every kingdom to come up with a new solution. Thus the Guardians were born.

Follow the story of a young boy and his friends as they journey through the land of Disney as they take on the Heartless, New & Old Villains, Meeting old heroes and restoring peace as the first generation of Guardians.
