Chapter 33: Stowaway
“Oh, you found Wally.”
“Yeah, he was about to jump off the bridge and kill himself, luckily, I managed to stop him.”
“Hey! That’s not what happened!”
Wally quickly shouted. Lucas didn’t mind and nodded.
“Right, actually...Jesse broke up with him.”
“Finally!”
“That’s not it either!”
“Tsk!”
Harry, who was listening in, sighed in relief but clicked his tongue after Wally refuted it again.
“Alright, Lucas! You win! Can we just go already!?”
Wally asked in resignation. Right now, he just wanted to get back to Mount Justice and hide himself in his room…
Caitlin chuckled seeing their antics and nodded as well.
“I’m ready to go back as well.”
“Finished with your business?”
“Yep. Actually...I decided to go with what you said. Can you introduce me to this person you mentioned?”
“Sure.”
Nodding, Lucas took out the interdimensional extrapolator and was about to use it when Harry shoo-ed them away.
“Go out, don’t do that in here.”
“Does it matter if it’s outside or not?”
“No.”

“Fine, fine.”
Lucas shook his head and went out with Wally and Caitlin.
After finding an open space, Lucas used the extrapolator and opened a portal back to his Earth.
Just as he was about to leave, he seemed to have sensed something and looked behind.
There, on a roof of a tall building, a shadow was standing over the ledge, watching them.
It was Batman. Only, there was a red circle behind his bat logo on his chest and he had two pointy shoulder pads.
Lucas smiled as he remembered who this suit belonged to.
This Batman should be the Earth-2 doppelganger of his father. Thomas Wayne.
Lucas wasn’t sure if he was also a Wayne here on this Earth but that doesn’t matter. Before heading in the portal, Lucas waved at Thomas and disappeared in the portal.
On top of the building, Batman removed his cowl and as Lucas expected, it was indeed Thomas Wayne.
Looking at the disappearing Lucas, Thomas showed a rare smile.
“It’s good to see you alive and well...Lucas…”
After that, Thomas wore his cowl again and nodded at Harry who just came out. Soon, he jumped off the roof and shot his grappling gun as he disappeared in an alley.
Harry sighed as he watched Batman disappear.
“8 out of 10 Lucas in the multiverse becomes someone with great power...but not all are blessed as such. A pity…”
Back in Lucas’ Earth, a portal appeared in the middle of a clear area outside Starlabs.
Caitlin and Wally managed to appear without a problem but as Lucas was about to step out, the portal started to shake.
“W-what’s happening!?”
“Is the extrapolator malfunctioning again!?”
*BOOM*
Wally and Caitlin tried to approach the portal to pull out Lucas when an explosion occurred.
Two figures shot out from the exploding portal and landed a few feet away from them.
“Ughh…why is something bad always happening around me…?”
Lucas cursed.
Did the extrapolator really have to malfunction just as he was getting out!? Is the world targeting him or something!
Why is it always me!?
Lucas thought as he tried to get his bearing. His eyes were still closed as he was feeling dizzy.
He tried to stand up but felt that there was something on top of him.
Thinking it was maybe some debris, Lucas pushed it away from him.
“...Huh? Why is it soft?”
Finally opening his eyes. He saw the ‘debris’ on top of him was actually a woman! The woman had short blonde hair and wore a white outfit and a red cape.
As for what he was touching…
“...What the hell? Did I transmigrate to a Japanese anime this time!? What is this Lucky Pervert scenario!?”
Lucas shook his head and didn’t get flustered.
Anyway, I’ve touched Amazon tits, Atlantean tits, and a bunch of other tits.
Looking at the face of the woman on top of him, Lucas frowned as she looked like Supergirl, but a bit more mature.
Hm? Hold on, this face...this outfit…
Is this...Power Girl? But why is she here?
She seemed to be unconscious. Otherwise, since Lucas was touching her chest, she would no doubt give him a punch straight to the Earth’s core!
Lucas squeezed it a couple more times as if it was his instincts as a man and wondered.
I wonder if Kara feels the same way...wait, this isn’t the time!
Lucas removed his hand when he saw Caitlin and Wally approaching them and placed it on Power Girl’s waist instead to push her away.
“Lucas! Are you okay!?”
Caitlin asked.
“I’m fine...more importantly, it seems we got ourselves a stowaway…”
“Hm? She looks like Kara…but...bigger...”
Wally frowned as well when he saw her face. Soon after, his gaze lowered and wandered around her body.
“...I’m going to call Jesse.”
“Ah! Wait, Caitlin! Don’t! I’m just joking!”
While the two were bickering, Power Girl started to wake up.
She groaned and held her head as if in pain.
When she opened her mouth, what came out wasn’t English but Kryptonian words.
“Where...am I?”
“Hi there. You’re on Earth. Do you know how you got here?”
Lucas spoke to her in Kryptonian as well. Both Wally and Caitlin couldn’t understand so they could only stand on the side to watch.
“Earth? Where is Earth?”
“Err...do you not know how you appeared here?”
“I...can’t remember...what was I doing?...Why am I wearing this outfit?”
“...”
Lucas frowned upon hearing that.
Does she have amnesia?
“Do you not remember? How about your name?”
“My name...Karen Starr…”
“So you only remember your name?”
Karen nodded.
Lucas scratched his head and remembered that he could use Martian Mahunter’s abilities to look through her memory.
“I can look into your memory for you, do you mind?”
Karen hesitated but still nodded.
Perhaps being able to converse with someone in her mother tongue had loosened up her guard around herself. Plus, she was also scared of not knowing anything.
Lucas tapped his index and middle finger at Karen’s temple and closed his eyes to focus on his mental abilities.
However, before he could access Karen’s memories, he received a huge feedback that made him wince in pain.
“Gh-!?”
Lucas quickly pulled back his arm and frowned.
What strong mental barrier...just who did this to her?
“Sorry, it seems there’s a mental barrier inside you. I can’t see your memories either.”
Karen looked downhearted after hearing that.
Lucas scratched his head again and looked at Caitlin and Wally as he explained to them in English.
Caitlin nodded and offered her help.
“How about we head back to the lab and I’ll see if I can scan something from her?”
Lucas translated it for Karen.
She hesitated for a moment but eventually nodded.
As they walked, she trailed behind Lucas while grabbing the edges of his clothes.
Wally stared at them with half-closed eyes.
“...Just like that, he picked up another hottie…”
“Hey, I didn’t pick up anyone! Besides, she’s only sticking to me since I’m the only one who can understand her language…”
Wally continued to mumble, clearly unconvinced at Lucas’ excuses.
Caitlin chuckled at Wally and grabbed Lucas’ other arm as if to rub it in Wally’s face.
“Everyone likes a handsome guy. Even in other worlds. Plus, Lucas is easy to get along with.”
“Gh-!?”
Wally felt an invisible stab to the chest while Lucas just laughed wryly.
After making fun of Wally, Caitlin separated and led them to her lab.
“The others are gone. Must’ve gone after Turtle. Well, tell her to lie down here.”
Lucas conveyed what Caitlin said and asked Karen to lie down in the bed in the middle of the room.
Caitlin worked on the computer at the side and the bed started to move inside a circular equipment at its head.
Karen was startled with the sudden movement and wanted to get out so Lucas calmed her down.
“Calm down, we’re just taking a scan of your brain to see if there’s anything we can do.”
Karen looked at Lucas and calmed down. Soon, she relaxed back in the bed.
After a while, the bed pulled out of the circular equipment and the results came up.
“How is it?”
“Hmm...that’s weird. All scans showed nothing abnormal. Everything is perfect for a normal Kryptonian.”
Lucas sighed.
So it really isn’t going to be easy after all…
Lucas told Karen the results without hiding anything.
Looking at Karen who looked disappointed, Lucas sighed again and patted her shoulder.
“Well, for now, we don’t know how to help you or regain your memories. Maybe you just need a bit of rest. I’m sure everything will work out in the end.”
“...Okay.”
Karen looked a bit better after hearing that.
Turned back to Caitlin and Wally, Lucas asked.
“Is it possible to know which world she is from?”
“I got her frequency, I’ll see if I can ask Cisco to take a look later.”
“Thanks. For now, I’ll have her rest in Mount Justice. With Kara there, I’m sure the two of them would get along. It should help her ease a bit.”
Lucas nodded and handed Caitlin his number.
“Here’s my number, call me once the results come up...or if you need anything else.”
“Sure.”
Lucas turned towards Wally and glared at him.
“And you. There is still punishment waiting for you back in the base. Go clean the whole base. I want it done by tomorrow! No use of speed force either. If you use it, I will sense it!”
“Nooooo!!!”
“I’ll let you use your speed to get there, afterward, you can only use it again after you’re done cleaning up! Now go!”
“Oh come on!”
Wally groaned and quickly sped back to Mount Justice and get a head start with cleaning up.
Caitlin chuckled at Wally’s predicament and saw Lucas and Karen off.
“Let me know when you want to meet Rachel, Caitlin.”
“Okay.”
As they walked out, Lucas asked Karen.
“Do you remember your powers?”
“Powers? Like that kid who ran fast earlier? I have powers?”
“Yeah. Since you’re Kryptonian, you should be able to fly as well.”
Lucas grinned and held her hand as they flew off to the sky.
Karen panicked and grabbed onto Lucas tightly, making certain soft areas touch him…
Lucas chuckled and calmed her down.
“Don’t worry. You won’t fall. Even if you can’t remember, your body will be able to remember how to fly...just like riding a bicycle.”
Karen calmed her breathing and slowly separated from Lucas.
Soon, she let go of his hand and was flying separately!
“I...can fly!”
“Hehe, come on. I’ll show you where you will live for now. There is another Kryptonian there. I’m sure the two of you will get along.”
The two of them flew in the air and played around for a while before finally landing on Mount Justice.
At this moment, Kara had just finished a training session and was soaking with sweat.
She was about to head to the bathroom to take a shower when she saw Lucas appear while leading a tall woman wearing a white outfit and red cape.
What’s more, this woman seemed to have similar features as her. Only, that woman is taller, bustier, and more mature than her…
Seeing the woman and Lucas look so close to each other, Kara’s face twitched in annoyance.
Lucas noticed Kara and waved at her.
“Kara! Come here. Let me introduce you to someone.”
Kara gritted her teeth and walked towards them while glaring at Lucas.
“Kara, this is Karen. She is what you call a doppelganger of yours from another world.”
While on the way, Lucas had explained to Karen about the multiverse and that she might’ve been from another world.
From what Lucas knows in the comics, Karen Starr AKA Power Girl, is the doppelganger of Kara Danvers AKA Supergirl. They both might have different names but actually, Karen’s Kryptonian name is the same. Kara Zor-L.
The reason why Karen looks older than Kara was probably because they had different times when they got out of the Phantom Zone.
Karen got out much earlier than Kara, hence, she is able to visibly age more than her.
Karen smiled at Kara and greeted her in Kryptonian language.
“Hi, I am Karen.”
“...I’m Kara.”
“...”
“...”
Lucas watched as the two looked at each other.
On one side, Karen was looking at Kara with a warm smile.
On another side, Kara looked irritated as she glared at Karen and straightened her back as if attempting to match Karen’s height and bust…
Lucas scratched his cheek with a troubled look.
...Maybe this was a mistake…?
Would he be going out with twins then?
So in earth 2 Bruce and Lucas are dead while their parents survived, atleast his dad, hence why only 8 out of 10 lucas get a broken skill and become extraordinary excistences.
Taking into account that now two Wayne brothers would be great that in the universe the father is batman and the mother as the joker since this is one of the universes
the current tone for the story is lacking in seriousness as with this many Lucas mythos, the story has told us while he is special, he is just one of many, but in a way that makes it seem he will always win.
To put suspense back into it and fix a previous mistake(If unintentional), reveal that Darkseid knows that lucas is copying the power of his 3d avatar. this elevates his threat as he has info on Lucas and closes the problem of if lucas had a fraction of darkseids true power he would have destroyed the universe he is in and every one he loves alongside it.
sorry about how short this comment is, I had already made a longer much better explained comment just before but when I went to post it asked me to sign in losing my couple paragraph long explanation.
Comrade I think you are taking it from the wrong point of view, this is not a serious story, it is a fanfiction where the mc has a harem bigger than mount fuji, it fights from time to time and is very op, and none of this makes it bad, it is a relaxing novel different from Dream Engine or the other batman brother fanfic that are more serious with their stories
You mean the exact same problem as Superman. Seemed to be fine for him for almost a hundred years. There's Doomsday, but I find his hate machine motivation to be lacking after he got revenge. He's basically a dog train and only knows killing. Lucis' powers would let him reform Doomsday without risk of death. Hell Superman could do it too if he didn't mind abandoning his life for a few decades.
Regarding Darkseid power. Lucas has his own version of Darkseid power. Hence why his omega beems are white instead of red. You can say that Lucas is like a second Darkseid but hasn’t mastered the powers yet.
