He also Pretended to be a police officer who extorts naughty teenagers when he saw them vandalizing with spray paints, by letting them go only if they gave him their cash.

He even pretended to be a rich but fearsome mafia who extorted money from an old couple. Though he soon gave their money back to them after realizing that the money he extorted was supposed to be used on their granddaughter who suffers from cancer.

So he would like to call himself a Kind Con-Artist.

William wakes up a few months/weeks before the first film, chained in Chorh-Gom prison.

Sharing a body with Tai Lung's original spirit for several months, each side gradually learns from the other's memories and experiences. William gains Tai Lung's martial arts experience, as well as his attachment to, then disappointment with, Shifu, his adoptive father. Tai Lung loses his obsession with becoming the dragon warrior, realizing that he can pursue what is truly important to him. Before finally merging as one.

However, sentenced to life imprisonment in Chorh-Gom, Tai Lung must wait a few more weeks, according to William's memories, to escape and set out on a quest for redemption and inner peace.
