Thank you. I'm glad so many people have found my scribbles enjoyable. I hope I can continue to improve as a writer, I don't really feel like I've earned the interest this story has garnered. But I'm glad I have, since it does help motivate me.
Congrats on become the #50 in most favorites of all time, and with 2 exception (WinterWhereOf's works, and they post on other sites to increase their audience) all the stories above you have either been on this site for nearly a year or more than you, or have double your chapter count.
So yes your readers are definitely enjoying the story. (especially since you have like the fifth lowest views to favorite ration (lower is better)) in the top 50
Gotcha. I may post a few chapters on one or two of those now that I have so many. I don't think I'd ever gravitate away from ScribbleHub as my main site though. This is a good site with many good writers on it.
WinterWhereOf doesn't update those sites every update, only every 10 chapters or so. And I learned of Scribblehub's existence from finding Ascent to divinity on Chyoa.
Not relevant, but I find it slightly humorous, WinterWhereOf has blocked me because I was critical of one of their newer stories. Though, that was because I felt the story wasn't up to their usual par.
Hi! Absolutely love your story! Binging through it now lol I have a question tho: how do you pronounce eir’s name? Is it like ear? Or ey-er? Or iiii-er?? Thanks
Thank you for reading, I am glad you are enjoying my scribbles.
There is no pronunciation key for Eir, unfortunately, but based on the name it is derived from, Eira, I say it in my head as "Eye-Er". Here is a link to the name's origin/meaning.
Considering it has been brought up a few times, I think I'm going to need to redo the plot synopsis for Rebirth of the Nephilim. I'm thinking of changing it for the New Year. If anyone reads this and offers any suggestions, I'd be happy to hear them.
You two wrote excellent summaries in your reviews (thank you for those, by the way) and if you don't object, I will use them to help edit the synopsis I currently have.
Late reply, but I don’t mind. If anything, it would give me bragging rights to my imaginary friends (who I spent Christmas and New years with catching up on my gaming backlog)
Honestly I wrote that synopsis of mine simply trying to accurately tell people what to expect (instead of a subjective review) without giving away any too important details, or just previewing some stuff which would still flow well even if you already heard about it, but at a very unholy time and definitely without a full 8 hours of sleep
Your prose is really very good, even by non-scribblehub standards. If you ever plan on turning writing into a full time career (assuming it’s not now) I think you would do quite well
ETA: As another commenter said, the synopsis sells this one short by a mile. I scrolled past this series like 5 times because of the synopsis, finally gave in and read it, and now it’s one of my favorites on the site.
If you do plan on making a patreon it might be best to increase your reach by posting batches of chapter on different sites, with mentions that they can read ahead on scribblehub and patreon.
Winterwhereof of does this on at least literotica and chyoa. The latter being where I found ascent to divinity, and learned of scribblehub, eventually leading me here.
