The truth that your epic (literary) duel of your first chapter was reading to me, god, it just continued, the truth that as for what they say that it has strange words, I just did not feel it at any time, I like the perspective at first person simply because he is the one who makes you get into the story the most, who takes it from you when they make the typical POV changes.
It is simply the first time that I see so much abuse in this platform, it seems that you had offended someone with influence or money and had hired an army to attack you (I trust you know what I mean by an army)
By the way, you did not seem aggressive in your answers, beyond the occasional rage against the master writer who knows everything, but the same thing would have happened to me and worse because I simply get angry when someone does not understand such a simple argument.
I don't know what your plans for this novel are, but if you would like to expand the number of readers you should consider expanding to other sites. My recommendation would be royalroad.com and if you would like to make some money as well you should consider making a patron, with polls, fanarts or exclusive side Storys.
I really would like to see your story be shared on a much popular website. While scribblehub is plenty popular royalroad is on a whole new level, so please think about it.
If the site "World Wide Words" is to be believed, it's a Scottish word that's...apparently become more American than British or Scottish? If so, I'm guessing it's from the eastern side of the country, I live in the west (most familiar with the areas around Idaho, Utah, and Oregon) and I've never heard it.
Well, could be coastal west too, but it feels like something from the east to me.
