Seeing this comment makes me think about my approach, and my readers' approach, too. I intend for people to see the positivity between the depressing cracks. I might have overdone it a bit considering the fact that people call my story "torture po*n."
In any case, you really shouldn't read this story if it brings back uncomfortable memories to you. Thanks for sticking with it for this long.
As an author, I thank you for sticking to my story for more than 100 chapters.
I totally get you. This story is kinda an experiment where I have the first half be somewhat depressing while the latter half be satisfying. I personally think that the sweet moments in future arcs (or inbetween arcs) are that much sweeter when the protagonist powering through every unfairness that gets thrown her way.
lol thanks, I don't have any of my stories up yet as I'm still fleshing out some of the logistics of my world atm. It's far to constricted, only realized it about 20 chapters into my rough drafts lmao
... five and a half months later, and I still have you in mind as the benchmark upon which I will still compare other commenters' words.
It's taken me a few months to get back to even *wanting* to continue writing and posting like I was; but I do hope you haven't given up reading and commenting.
