Hello =) I answer Discord more often than the other platforms. It's just easier to spot and respond to. If you want to talk here, too, or ask something, then I'm all ears, too! ^_^7
It's a fun one to write and takes on a different theme than TO since it happens in a fantasy world. I'll be dropping another chapter tomorrow once I get time to write in that one. =))
When are you going to keep going with The Helena Chronicles? Tbh, it was my favourite out of the three and although I understand that it's the least popular out of your stories, it's still a really good story. I've been checking it on my reading lists since I finished it about a year ago and I'd appreciate if you showed it some love some time soon. Your other series are amazing too, but I just prefer Helena
Hehe, thanks, Vaexis. It's true, I do need to show it a bit of love. I do really enjoy writing about Helena. I'll see if I can work something into it, but first I need to get some of my other serials caught up with the Tier list on Patreon. I'm about 9/11 chapters in TO.
Yeah, since you've been writing it for ages now and the Helena universe should be more detailed than the other stories. I'm into deep lore and all that, so I'm looking forward to it. Maybe they'll like it more when you get into Helena's later years if drafts have already been written for it. This was your first book but is your shortest. It's a shame that not as many people like it
I'm considering reading your series, but I would like to know how they are connected and how much. I would also like to know which order to read the chapters of the different series in.
Np. =)) Short answer, you can read any of them as a standalone. UE has some information about how people changed that TO doesn't, but TO has more info on the System than UE has (such as B2-14 where you get a fairly in-depth understanding of The System from the character's POV). However, The System functions a bit differently to Elinor because of what she is.
U did quite the nice work with "The Oscilation". It's been some time since i read something THIS good. This novel has great potential and it made me glue into reading all the avaliable chaps till i ended it. I have high expectations, keep it up! Going to recommend your novel to my friends, they will like it.
Your research into trending ratings on Royal Road was greatly appreciated. This could help aspiring novelists in preparing if it were to be published as a forum post.
Np, glad you found the information useful. ^_^7
I don't think the admins would appreciate it out in the open like that though. Having it on my recent chapters until my work is out of trending seems like the most stable way to keep the admins off my back, but get the word out.
Hey thank you so much for bringing Oscillation over to SH. I was reading and loving it on RR but SH is just so much nicer to use. Keep up the good work
Yeah, got to get my brother in on these. He's not as avid an author follower as I am, but he does love a good read and often we exchange titles to peruse. He'll definitely appreciate your works. BTWs, The Chronicles of Helena... Mmmmmmmmmmmhhhhhhh. It's deliciously written.
They're still a ways away, and the interaction happens as a child and then later as teens. There's a gap between them, but just like any world, people come into contact in the past and then can reconnect in the future.
There are a lot more Sci-Fi fans out there than you know. There has been a distinct lack of actual SCi-Fi since the RPG Era started to gain traction (not that I dislike RPG stuff, I'm a huge fan of it xD). I am a huge fan of Sci-Fi, the likes of Anthony Piers and Orson Scott Card were the first one's I read in middle school. Also, Fantasy and Sci-Fi audiences tend to overlap, so I'm sure it will do splendidly on this site.
Could be a bit, depends on when they will approve it. I'll release the first three chapters then head to bed ... been up for the past 28 hours, but that's normal with how often I work.
D: Try not to burn yourself out. Take things at your own pace. I've seen too many great authors burn themselves out far to early in their lives by pushing themselves too hard in their daily life. Even if it takes years, releasing a good story can wait until you are feeling up to it. Don't let people push you unless you feel like going in that direction anyway. In which case that push would be support rather than demands. I wish you a good night/day.
I'm a fan now, after finding The Oscillation, I'll be following each of your works. I hope for the best, and by best, I hope one day you'll be publishing paperback books that I'll be able to buy at my local Bestseller. I've read a lot of books and very few have given me that spine-tingly sensation that this one has.
I appreciate the support! I've considered publishing The Helena Chronicles on this site, but I'm unsure how it'll be received. It's for a more Sci-Fi based audience ... in a Pseudo fashion with ESP, but there's a power basis behind everything and evolutionary history.
