jsyk, im still alive, just unsatisfied with where my stories were going. I'm going to try and finish the stories, then release the second drafts as they come.
until then, ill lurk.
im going to take a break from releasing chapters for a while so i can focus on improving my writing. my characters motivations still arent clear, and my prose could use a lot of work.
im still very happy with the progress ive made, so thank you to my readers for giving me the motivation to write!
hopefully ill be back in a month or two!

Yep, doing great today!
Chapter 5 of Myca on Monday! So far, it's the longest chapter I've written, and I think I'm getting slightly better at stuff! <3
New chapter tomorrow! Including 43% more Heather POV
Read myca! including 57% more backstory in chapter 4! (Its not out yet but I think youll like chapter 3 anywayy)
im writing again! my current plan is to do a chapter a week, but I don't have much of a schedule, so it might be more or less than that. also, im plural, so my writing style may change depending on who's fronting.

im struggling to get the motivation to write more, since I'm not happy with how the story is turning out. I know I need to write an imperfect story to begin with, cause I'll never get any practice otherwise, but I would just prefer to be perfect ?
Nothing is ever perfect when you start. Even the much heralded best writer on a TV show I remember said he writes a really lousy version of an episode to get it out and then he makes it awesome in rewrites. Artists do much the same thing, sketch before it becomes better. What I have done myself is write sort of the same way. Just get a story out and then make it good for other people later. Good luck :-)
I know that, but it's really hard to get my emotions to know that. thank you for the advice and encouragement though. I like your stories, so it means a lot.
