Not a chap XD But...I've decided to use a poll.
There are 4 options:
- Continue the story as it is with the same system and OP ability. - For this, I will continue using the same system with the same OPness it has now and make the MC to be some kind of hidden hero working behind the scenes. Even when he returns, he would be under the disguise of another person from the public's eyes and only a select few knows that he is the hero that showed up many years ago, Lucas Wayne.
- Rewrite the story with downgraded system. - For this, I plan to have Lucas have more difficulty in gaining Synchronization rate with the characters and even some limitations. Sleeping with women won't also guarantee an instant 100% Synch rate. Also, the story would be more detailed in terms of the gaps in the timeskips. Maybe some small time thugs and villains. I still plan for Darkseid to be the first big bad because Darkseid is the trigger for not only the emerging of superheroes, but also the supervillains.
- Rewrite the story with MC gaining a completely different power. - Not too OP, but also powerful enough to let him fight the likes of Darkseid without losing too much. No system, but simply a new power which he hasn't fully grasped yet...only, not sure about the power yet XD
- Drop the story. This is shit. Just stop writing! XD

Personally, I want to see the story continue, but I think there should be a consequence to synchronizing with villians like Darkseid, honestly.
i agree, specially with the part about lucas personality being warped by the personality of those he syncs with. heroes make him more selfless and willing to sacrifice himself while villains make him more selfish a willing to sacrifice others, he will notice it after reaching 100% sync with darkseid. also he will be affected more the stronger the hero or villain is by showing more aspects of their personalities.
@shinikage I don't see why as the sync doesn't give personality traits so it wouldn't make sense for that to happen.
@DragonkingKyo what sync affects is lucas moral compass which indirectly affects his personality too many heroes sync turn him into someone who will take everything upon him to save the day even at the cost of his life like he did on the battle against darkseid, dont you find it weird that while he knew that the heroes just needed to gather to beat darkseid instead of buying time he went and sacrificed himself?, once he realizes it he will be forced to actively seek both villains and heroes to try to keep a balance.
@shinikage I haven't seen any of that it hasn't even hinted to that, you mean that is how you want it to be
@DragonkingKyo yeah so?, after all i am just giving a idea of what would be a hidden flaw for such an OP system. personally i find more interesting when the mc has to pay a price for his abilities instead of just getting OP for the plot.
also i find really weird that someone who knows how the fight will end would just and take the sacrifice option instead of buying time.
@shinikage personally I also agree, it doesn't make a lot of sense that he would just sacrifice himself when he knew that all he needed to do was stall for time.
@Megamink rigth?, that is why i agree with your idea of the penalties for syncing with villains while expanding to also have penalties for adding heroes. also i find it weird that after syncing with wonder woman he went from happy go lucky reincarnator to a man too focused with finding the members of the justice league.
@Megamink I agree with him sacrificing himself doesn't make sense but I still don't think he should get some of their personality traits as it wouldn't be as balanced as he thinks as anyone can become evil even superman or get corrupted so if he gained personality traits from villains especially the really crazy one would be too corrupting and have more effective on him then the traits of good people.
@DragonkingKyo maybe not personality, but I think synchronization with these heroes and villians should have some effect on him. at least that's what I kinda want to see, it's up to the author to decide though.
@DragonkingKyo i am not talking about their personality traits, i am talking about affecting his moral compass, like making him think is ok to sacrifice himself in order to reduce the damage in case he has sync with many heroes, or win no matter the cost if there are too many sync with villains, he will not became evil per se but his way to deal with what happens will change greatly.
Let me just cut into this argument by stating he likely destroyed the father cube because he was fully aware it was too early for them and by "sacrificing" himself he successfully stalled for time and will likely find a way to return.
Lastly, changing the OP ability to f*ck with his mind will ultimately ruin the current MC that we currently have, changing the ability to not auto max on snu-snu would make more sense. Because he still doesnt actually know them as a person, only their body at best.
Imo the current four he has is enough atm because it wont water down the story with smut and make it seem like most other wish fullfillments, as at that point it usually regresses to po*n plot levels instead of the good read as it has been so far.

still doesn't make sense the way he acted, since he knows all of darkseid abilities, heck he had those himself he only needed to buy time to defeat him with the other heroes help, even if they weren't ready, he was more than strong enough to even the fight

sorry to burst your bubble. but he gets a new slot with each level so....., about the smut part, it doesn't make justice to the R-18 tag so that is either improved or removed, i have read R-15 novels with more content
