<3rd POV>
Sc'the immediately shot into the air and (Spatial Warp)ed back to the gigantic science fiction city-scape and was immediately struck with indecision as to where to search first: he didn't know if this place had dungeons as everything here was under the control of whatever Undead was ruling over this place, and then there was the fact that if there were dungeons they were probably modified so that it would best suit dead-people's situations and they'd likely forget to feed the living being stuck within unless ordered to...which would probably be intentional as to make another undead that can give unwilling information on a certain subject if needed.
Sc'the looked at the different technologically designed vehicles and cyber-enhanced undead creatures as they flew around the city frantically searching for something that they would never find. He figured that there was really no other first place to start other than whatever it was that the contraption Aurora was trapped in lead to. He Warped over to the tower and then inside of it, before sinking through the floor and following all of the wires as the converged upon what looked like a giant converter for the power provided before sending it off somewhere else of which another, very thick wire lead to.
Sc'the really, really hoped that this wasn't leading him directly to wherever it was that the Undead Overlord person was staying at because if it did, and they had a way of sensing or seeing him then things would go wrong very quickly. It took almost five minutes of hop-gliding before he reached an area where the wires finally lead outside, just for them to cross a courtyard and lead back into another section of a different set of interconnected buildings.
This place was an absolute maze. There was nothing else to say about it, and if Sc'the didn't have his phasing abilities he knew that he'd have gotten lost trying to find his way back even if he hand-railed the wires during his escape.
It was very unnerving, being lead somewhere, by something of a purpose he didn't know was.
He suddenly had a thought. If they wanted to keep someone important to their target here then they'd likely keep them on the other side of the city. So he abandoned this search in favor of phasing through the ceiling, and then another ten more, before finally reaching the outside world and going back over to the tower that Aurora had been trapped by. Sc'the landed on it's pointed roof and looked around at the city for a moment: there were a few other towers around that didn't seem like they were being used for the same purpose as this one, actually they all looked like scout lookouts with various weaponry, so that left the buildings around the area and whichever one looked like it was the most fortified and guarded.
Unfortunately for him, Sc'the didn't know that that was exactly where the wires were leading toward, after connecting to a central hub in the center of the city for power regulation, they all branched out from there going to different corners of the city for an unknown purpose. Regardless the main line lead to where it was Sc'the teleported toward, and it's purpose was just as important as the whole...if not greater.
Once Sc'the reached the near vicinity of the target biulding he noticed that this place was way more heavily guarded than he'd thought it was, but that also meant that it was that much more important for the enemy so he just needed to get inside now. Not just to check the area to see if there was the person that Aurora seemed to want to save being held prisoner, but also to see what the hell it was that was so important as to have almost a fifth of your army guarding this place. And it definitely looked to be that much as the army Sc'the saw outside the Southern part of the city where the Screen-like portal was formed was not only huge but it was also comprised of the same creatures seen here and their numbers definitely made this place a prime target for a strike.
You'd think that an Undead Overlord wouldn't want to draw excessive amounts of attention to whatever was so important that it would make it the perfect place for a strike to happen, but maybe the guy was panicking and wasn't actually thinking about the consequences posting a fifth of his army in one location would look to the enemy...or he didn't think the enemy could even get to this planet and now that one had and had taken his living battery he was worried about them breaking into this place as well?
Regardless everything here was at Level 100 or above it: there were Draugr at Level 300+ roaming in packs of five, literally hundreds of both Zombies, Skeletons, Undead Animals like wolves and birds staling the area and sitting on poles or wires; there were what looked like shadows of somethings passing here and there, as well as a light mist that covered certain sections of the entrances. All of the fodder were between the Levels of 100 and 200, with the rare animal being at 299...just on the edge of evolution.
If this was just the outside Sc'the didn't know if he wanted to see what was on the inside...but on the other paw he really wanted to see what was inside...
His curiosity won over his sense of reason and Sc'the argued that if he didn't find anything there that was useful or important he'd just leave, and if he did find something useful then that was even more reason to take it and then leave. After all, who could resist seeing such a prime opportunity before them and leave it alone!
...And, if anything went wrong, Sc'the could just blow the place up.
Sc'the teleported to the roof and sank through it, letting the lower half of his body shift into the Second Layer as his (Invisibility (Passive)) returned to normal. Then he hovered in place as he waited for his vision to get used to the incredibly dark interior of this place: It was actually so dark that he'd thought that there was a chance he hadn't even gone through the ceiling fully and had actually gotten stuck between, but nothing had happened to prove such an occurrence and there was no physics-breaking events that had occurred so that must not have been the case.
Once Sc'the could see without feeling like he'd bumb into something or accidentally phase through something important he continued on and started looking through the place. To find that this part of the building was actually extremely boring...there was nothing there; though, if he had been any other creature or being he'd have found himself immediately pounced upon by the various Undead Hellhounds hiding within the shadows surrounding the entire floor the moment his being was senses through the ceiling. However, due to his Racial Abilities, that wasn't the case and Sc'the just phased through the next floor and continued searching for something important.
The next five floor were the same, dark, boring, and absolute wastes of time--despite being filled with abhorrent creatures that Sc'the couldn't sense himself--so he continued to go down floor after floor and there was finally a change. A room with a singular torch in the center, it wasn't lit, but that was fine. Sc'the stayed on the floor for a minute longer than he probably needed to just staring at the torch and hoping that something would happen, but--seeing as the Poltergeist couldn't sense him either--nothing did happen.
He phased through ten more floors before something interesting occurred: the rooms went from boring concrete, steel beams, and open floor designs to a hallway filled with artificial light and the technological hum of an energy-powered design of some kind. It was such a shock to the monotony that Sc'the was getting use to that he almost phased right through it and into the next floor without giving it much attention. He was pretty much half-way through the floor when he noticed the change in structural advancement and with a quick flap of his wings he lifted himself out of the floor and returned his lower half into the First Layer with the rest of him.
Sc'the landed on the futuristic hallway looking around with renewed awe. There was a small desire to just leave and give up looking for anything interesting that this place might've been hiding, but the moment he realized the setting had changed that desire was incinerated and blown away by metaphorical wind.
He walked down the hallway for a little while, just letting the change in scenery sink in for a little while before moving on and after about ten minutes of just admiring the lights and glowing tech Sc'the went down another three floors to which point going any further down just lead to darkness and solid earth. That last floor was the same as the last four, and Sc'the imagined that these were the main forms of travel between places underneath the surface, but really it was just a super long hallway designed to desensitize any that followed it to the end so that the walls could then surprise-kill them at a random point along the third floor.
If Sc'the had looked through the second to last hallway he'd have seen some trophy species that hadn't been raised as undead just due to the fact they'd gotten so far without having been killed by the previous floor.
He walked down the last hallway for a long while, the boredom of nothing interesting happening starting to get to him again--despite the fact that this was the most trapped and dangerous hallway of the entire structure--but after ten more minutes he ended up at what looked to be a dead-end. And it would've been a dead-end for any other creature as they wouldn't have been able to phase through the trapped bunker door to get to the other side, as it would've unlatched and accelerated to such a degree within a few moments that not only would a Level 300 being have been immediately turned into a spray of blood, but it would also have impaled any stronger a being and slammed them into the other end of the hallway at speeds more than ten times faster then sound.
Fortunately, or maybe unfortunately, no one and nothing had been strong or stealthy enough as to reach this far...until now. Sc'the stuck his head inside, the rest of him being in the Second Layer as this was on solid earth now and even this world existed there, along with the tunnel system and rooms, just none of the technology. He blinked as hid head phased through the door and suddenly the door wasn't there anymore; Sc'the looked back at the rest of himself without something in the way, and for a moment nothing happened, then the sonic blast of an object having accelerated so quickly came back and blasted the short space with a thunderous sound so loud it nearly burst Sc'the's ears had he stayed in the First Layer for it's full effect.
It was unfortunate that he didn't get the chance to look around before his senses were pretty much scrambled by the aftermath of a Sonic Explosion, but he took a few minutes to recollect himself and make sure nothing had gotten too damaged before shifting his head back into the First Layer and continuing on in his investigations.
The room that had ben revealed was pretty bare--other than the green artificial light from the Tech and the humming of it's energy-driven sources--there was nothing else in the room besides a singular pedestal with what looked to be a simple Teddy Bear Plushie.
Sc'the (Spy)ed on it and did a few hops in celebration.
