Publishing the res of Volume 2 today, hopefully my wifi works the way I want it to and doesn't glitch out or something and make me lose a ton of progress on Fenrir's Blood...A Patreon Exclusive (till I hit chapter 20) that I'll be working on after publishing these.

<3rd POV (Still)>

Now that the Dark Lich King and his entire army had been taken care of, and the fact that there was really nothing else here that needed his attention: there was no danger anymore with all the undead dead again, there wasn't a captured person that he needed to search for...not here at least, and there wasn't any other things that really caught his attention as he made his way back to the portal leading to Aerethelia.

He knew that the Undead Kin past the portal would know that their contractor had died, but he would hopefully not need to do anything about them as they would either have already gone their separate ways or they'd be fighting each other likely when he got back. Sc'the knew that he should get back to the Capital as soon as possible because Aurora was there and she'd want an explanation as to why he left her alone without an inkling as to what was going on, but he still needed to find her friend and the only other place to do that now was at the castle where the Lich guy kept most of his Undead Mercenary Kin for whatever reason.

Sc'the made it to the portal within a few minutes, going at a pace where it was faster than a lazy pace but slower than a rush, and when he made it there he was relieved to see that there wasn't any sort of uncontrolled undead army waiting for him, or fighting each other at the entrance. He quickly dived through and ended up in the hallway on the other side; exactly where he'd first entered the other world from, and from how quiet the place was it didn't seem like there was any sort of fighting going on...at least not close enough to feel or hear.

He shot upwards and through the ceiling before looking at the castle from above and looking at each of the towers in turn to see if there was any signs of life within them. But, of course, there was no source of light or life that he could see so that meant he would have to do this the annoying way...meaning searching Each and Every. Single. Tower.

Of course. He found nothing. Because why would he.

So the next other place would likely be the dungeon...

...Come to think of it, that probably should've been the place he checked first; Considering its where you'd be able to keep someone trapped and chained up in an area where escaping would be difficult and you wouldn't have to worry about them seeing the outside world to scream for help.

Then again, the Gigantic Undead Army that was here would've made that pretty hard...

Sc'the shook himself of his useless thoughts and dove into the castle again before going through the floor and several subsections underneath the structure before getting to where he figured was a good start: A Long Hallway with what looked like lit braziers and torches along the length of it, leading to what looked like several different sections of doors and barred off arches that looked like they might be jail-cells.

Sc'the started walking down the hallway, peering into each and every cell he came across, suddenly having an idea: there wasn't really anyone else here that would really challenge this break-out or fight him, and he was probably strong enough to take on a few of this Undead Kin people now, so what was the hurt in asking if there was anyone here?

Hello Sc'the projected as loudly as he could to the long area in-front of him as he walked. Continuing to check the cells, Is there anyone here? I come as a friend. Someone asked to have me break someone out of here...

"hello." A light crackly voice sounded in the distance. Barely audible for even Sc'the's enhanced hearing but he'd heard it despite the weak tone and rushed to where he'd heard it from.

Hello. I heard someone here, right? Sc'the continued to check the cells as he trotted past them and he'd heard what might've been a weak response a little further ahead and finally got to the cell where a disheveled person wearing dirtied white robes was laying weakly on the ground with a singular manacle chain clasped around her left ankle.

Sc'the immediately used (Strike of The Warden) on the strangely gray-colored steel that was lining the bars of the small dungeon-cave and ripped away the door before hopping over to check on the person laying there:

Name: Moonlight Bluemoon
Species: High Elf
Condition: Starving (Moderate), Dehydration (Major), Furious, Weakened, ((Minor) Preservation State Magic) Effect.
(Class B Priestess)
Estimated Rank: B+
Job: Moon Priestess, Huntress
Personal Level: 74/100
Health: 3748(-)/8000

They were in a pretty rough condition...she, she was in a pretty rough condition.

He cut through the manacle securing her leg and the moment he did so the Elf seemed to gain a sudden burst of energy as she shot to her feet and blades of light flashed in her hands a moment before they struck the wall on the other side of the tunnel.

Sc'the was pretty sure that they weren't fatal for them, but it was still a strange feeling seeing two obviously dangerous things like that just pass through the bottom part of his body harmlessly because it wasn't on this Plane of Existence for something to actually effect him. The Elf-Priestess-Lady looked at the space in front of her bewildered at how her blades had gone through an area she was sure something had been just a moment before.

I-um, it's good to see you on your feet... Sc'the commented and revealed himself--pretty much just his head--a step aside from where she'd struck, I'm not here to hurt you. A friend asked me to rescue someone and I'm assuming that that person it you...right?

The Elf's eyes widened upon seeing him and she immediately dropped to bow on her head at his feet in apology, "I-I'm so sorry Great One. I struck without thinking and almost injured one of my clan's sacred beings."

I don't really care Sc'the stated truthfully, If you're able to take advantage of a bad situation like that in your condition to try and escape I wouldn't have minded even if you had hit me. It just mean you're stronger than you seem and that would help in your escape.

Moon didn't move from her bowed position and Sc'the sighed in frustration, Come on. I already said you're forgiven so please get up so we can get you to where it's safe.

She looked up at him, just barely, but stood nonetheless. Cool! Now I don't think you're in the best of conditions for me to use a Teleportation Skill so I'm going to have to do this the long way. Sc'the opened a portal and grabbed some cooked meat and used his (Chaos Protostar) to make a decent sized cup of which he filled with lake water from the incident a few months back.

He needed to go and show those fish why he wasn't one to be bullied like that ever again actually...

...Later. Sc'the shook his head and stepped back when he saw that the Elf was looking at the food and water like they were the last things she'd see alive, and he almost laughed. Hunger, and the things it does to people. I got these for you. Go ahead and dig in, but I do warn that you probably shouldn't eat too quickly...

He'd barely said this when Moonlight promptly started to choke on the meat and started to cough roughly. She grabbed the water and downed the entire glass in one go before doing so another three times, with Sc'the refilling the water with a small use of his (Void Storage) Skill opened at the bottom of the cup using (Chaos Protostar) as a medium and extension of himself to let the Skill be used in such a way.

Moonlight choked on the food a few more times and had probably ten more glasses of water before stopping and looking like she was about to pass out. Something that she did after a moment of swaying where she sat and then falling to the floor out cold. Sc'the immediately checked her Stats to make sure that she wasn't dying or something and sighed when he saw that she was just unconscious and the Starving and Dehydration Status Effects had gone down a stage each.

He figured that it would be alright now if he teleported them both with (Spatial Warp) and after touching her arm with a paw to make sure there was the contact the Skill needed the next moment they both appeared in Thria's room. Of whom was no-where to be seen.

Sc'the dragged Moonlight over to the side of the bed and left her there. Not wanting to put her on Thria's bed due to how dirty she was along with there being a risk she might lose her stomach with how fast she'd eaten despite his warning...but, regardless of what happened, he probably wouldn't have to deal with the aftermath.

He made his way over to the door and looked back at the Elfess laying on the ground. Sorry, he said in accounts for both before phasing through the bedroom and being struck with the full force of one of the strongest sets of Aura he'd ever felt before.

Something was happening, something big and there was that feeling that he needed to be there or something bad would likely happen.

--------------------------------------------------------------

<An Hour Earlier>

As Sc'the was exploring the Castle that the Dark Lich King called his secondary base, a meeting that would decide the fate of an entire Nation was being held.

Not long after the entirety of the Dragon Empire had shown up at the foot of the Novine Empire's Capital the Emperor himself had teleported three kilometers up in the sky to meet with the two most powerful beings in this side of the Universe. They were two beautiful Dragons that were standing on platforms of light: on the right there was the Emperor of Dragons himself, and to his right there was his other half, his equal, the Empress of Dragons.

Each of them radiated power and light so strong that should they be any closer to the city just their aura alone would flatten the entire Nation.

And they were pissed

Despite this, The Human Emperor fought through their aura with a regality belonging only to one other that stood as a ruler over their own to stand before them. His personal guard appearing behind him, all of them standing with guarded body-language, ready to defend their ruler without hesitation. He offered a respectful bow towards the two, thanking them for their hospitality and restraint towards those of his Nation below.

"I greet you, Emperor and Empress Eternal of The Dragon Empire to the North, and I thank you for your personal restraint in regards to those of my own people in regards to this matter..."

Silence Human! One of the thirteen dragons hovering around the Emperor and Empress of Dragons roared, You were not spoken to, thus you shall not speak unless addressed.

"Calm yourself Gri'th'lysn. Despite the situation we have come under diplomatic intentions as to not cause issues with the Empire of which are the natives of this planet we are visitors of." The Dragon Emperor said and Emperor Novine raised an eyebrow at the revelation but didn't comment on such new knowledge. The Dragon Emperor then turned back to his counterpart and dipped his head slightly, "I greet you, Emperor Novine. My Mate and I were told by the Talon-Guard in charge of keeping this planet Demon-free that there was a hatchling here belonging to our bloodline that had been taken under your care?"

A pit was starting to form in Emperor Novine's stomach at the mention of the (Young) Dragon. "You are correct Great Dimension Breaker, however..."

"If what you say is true then why do I sense that you are holding not one, but two Hatchlings within that fortress of yours?" The air was starting to crackle with audible energy as the Aura of both Dragons increased in response to their growing ire.

"Please don't jump to conclusions Great Dimension-Breaker, one of that you sense is my daughter, she has imprinted upon your hatchling and gained the ability to mimic the form of your race, and the other is a recent addition that your son liberated from a Lich King aiming to destroy one of my lower territories with forces from another planet." Emperor Novine tried calming them down, "I did not know of my daughters ability to take on your form, it was a suspicion but not a guarantee until this morning, and I also had no knowledge that there had been another hatchling that had been taken from your Empire until that exact same moment."

Regardless they are here, Your Greatness, this Human must be lying about knowing about the hatchlings. He must be hiding something more that he knows-- Gri'th'lysn growled from beside the Emperor's left side but he waved her off.

"I can sense that his emotions are genuine, so can mine own." Emperor Eternal waved her back, "Return to your place Captain, I will not tolerate you speaking out of turn any longer."

The Dragoness froze in the air for a moment, seemingly sensing that she was about to cross a line, but she broke out of it with an apologetic bow and drifted back to her place amongst her sisters behind the Dragon Heads. My apologies Great Destroyer, I have gone too far, please forgive my actions.

"You are forgiven Gri'th'lysn. I understand how valiantly you and your fellow sisters in arms feel about (Young) that have escaped or been stolen from The Empire's care, so just calm yourself and step back for a moment." Emperor Eternal dismissed her and turned back to Emperor Novine. "Now, about this recent development you've come into awareness of...how is it that two Dragons under a century have found their way into your care? And how is it their existence hadn't been discovered until now?"

Emperor Novine leveled with Emperor Eternal, "I couldn't give you a satisfactory answer Great Destroyer. As I am unaware of how the female escaped your Talon-Guards notice and made it so far as to become a Prisoner of the very Lich that aimed to try and take my territory from me."

There was a huff of dangerous energy as the Empress stepped forwards and leveled her head to look into Emperor Novine's eyes. "Are you suggesting that my Elite forces were so lax as to miss a Hatchling's disappearance?"

"I wouldn't dare to suggest that it was anyone's fault." Emperor Novine commented, "Just that it happened, and neither of us were aware of such events until this moment." He attached a stoic blank expression as he stared her in the eyes and after a moment the Dragon Empress hummed with interest and pulled away from the stare-down.

"Regardless of what has happened you still have yet to answer why I cannot feel the presence of any hatchling related to our blood." Emperor Eternal growled low and threateningly and Emperor Novine scratched the back of his neck awkwardly.

"Yeah. That..." He sighed and looked down for a moment as if hoping for something to appear or happen before speaking again, to no luck, "Usually he has a habit of appearing when talked about, but I guess maybe not this time...Anyways, your child--and he is your child, he has the Eternal Surname--"

YOU DARED PEER INTO THE SOUL OF AN ETERNAL!!  Gri'th'lysn roared, and it wasn't just her that was pissed off at the statement: Every single one of the other twelve World-Breakers surrounding their Emperor and Empress were absolutely livid

The Emperor winced at the breach he'd just admitted to, "I admit that it is not something that should have been resorted to, but I must add that he agreed to it and showed everything of his own volition, and I along with my entire bloodline will agree to never share, use, nor otherwise take advantage of such a revelation for as long as I live; You see, your son saved my daughter from a particularly bad situation, so I wouldn't put him in danger even if my own life was on the line."

The Eternals glared at Emperor Novine with gazes that could literally melt steel, but he didn't budge nor flinch under the intensity. "We will come back around to this later..." Emperor Novine nodded in agreement and The Dragon Emperor motioned for him to continue.

"Putting that point aside your hatchling, Sc'--"

"Don't speak of his name. We will discover it ourselves from his own voice." Empress Eternal growled and Emperor Novine quickly abandoned that notion.

"--Your son, has a natural innate ability given to him by The World itself to be able to hide his very being from others even several Tiers in power above his own." This was something that greatly intrigued both Ruling Dragons, and Emperor Novine continued, "I don't know how, or why, but it seems that he and the Dragoness recently put in my care have been given Roles."

"If what you speak is nothing other than the truth I will personally wipe your Empire from the surface of this planet and make you watch me do so human." Emperor Eternal's tail lashed dangerously behind him as he stepped closer to Emperor Novine and looked down upon him as if about to enact the wrath of a god upon mortal sin.

"I don't need to even swear upon Reality that what I speak of it the truth, you can smell it, all of you can, but I will just so you can hear it aloud." Emperor Novine then swore upon The World that his words were true and upon hearing that revelation both Ruling Dragons were struck with several emotions they hadn't felt in a long, long time:

Pride.
Admiration.
Happiness.
Guilt.
Fear.

And it was at this point that a gigantic beam of Black Energy with Purple flashes of Lightning slammed into the shields surrounding The Dragon Imperials and everything was turned on it's head.

Heh. Sorry...sort of.

I was going to have Sc'the just kinda barge his way in-between this discussion and introduce himself by with either a (Star Scream) into his father or a "Hi, you smell familiar" kind of thing, and than I remembered that a certain Level 900+ Undead Fuck hadn't been taken care of, so things will come together in the next chapter while that happens...

Happy Easter, and I'll see y'all in the next one!
P.S. Next chapter will be the end of Volume 2. No matter what happens. (That's a self-note, not a flag...XP)
