Mo Fang hemmed and hawed but finally had to give an answer. "Yes … I think I’m alright. It’s just that I’m still shaking from Lan Heng’s reaction. I wouldn’t have expected that at all."

Li Ming nodded. He could understand as much. That Lan Heng had really been too violent. How could he do that in front of Mo Fang? He looked like somebody who was easily scared. That was the type of person you should protect instead of making them afraid. He really couldn’t help but look down on that guy.

Thinking of that, Li Ming couldn’t help but want to say some more encouraging words. "Don’t worry. He’s still in his apartment and you’re outside. Nothing can happen to you. And from now on, you won’t have to see him anymore."

Mo Fang nodded, hoping that Li Ming would still go along with what he said before. Unfortunately, his hopes were dashed just a moment later.

"Well … I guess we’ll see each other tomorrow at work then?"

Mo Fang looked at him, dumbfounded. What was that supposed to mean? He really wouldn’t accompany him any longer? "This … Well … I guess so." He gave a frail smile, trying to get a bit more pity but Li Ming had already nodded and turned away, going to another platform to go back home. After all, his shift had also only ended a while ago so it was time for him to take care of his own matters.

Mo Fang pouted but now it was already too late to do anything. Thus, he sighed and then boarded the train, going back to the station. He went to the lockers, opened the suitcase and started to stuff things into his locker.

Soon enough, he had to find out that that wouldn’t work though. He had only gone through about half of his suitcase when his locker was already full.

Mo Fang stared at it, unable to believe what he was seeing. This … This couldn’t be real! What was he supposed to do with his clothes now? He couldn’t just take everything back to his parents’ home, could he?

He tried to imagine that scene when he went back was everything, moving in with his parents again. That … That really wouldn’t be a good idea. It was one thing to sleep for a few nights there until he found something else but it was a different matter altogether to bring all this stuff. His father would know immediately what was up. He couldn’t let that happen!

He looked at the rest of the clothes and finally just zipped the suitcase back up. Looking around the locker room, he finally rolled it in a gap between the rows and then went out, going home.

Anyway, he could think about this later on. For now, he had enough clothes in his locker and nobody would go and steal his clothes, would they? It wasn’t a problem at all.

In this way, Mo Fang’s first day of working at the train station finally came to an end. When he arrived back home, his father was already there, sitting in the kitchen and tapping the table with his fingers. As soon as he heard the door to the house open, he tightly furrowed his brows. "Mo Fang. You come here for me."

Mo Fang tensed but then still went over lest his father got even angrier. He gingerly poked his head through the kitchen door and gave a smile. "Daddy, what might be the issue? Are you hungry? Do you want me to make you something to eat? Is mother not home yet?"

Boss Mo furrowed his brows when he heard that sickeningly sweet tone of voice that his son always used when he was trying to get his will or get out of trouble. "I’m not hungry, I don’t want anything to eat and your mother isn’t going to help you. I want to know where you’ve been until now."

Mo Fang blinked his eyes and then gave a smile. "What are you talking about, Daddy? You make it sound as if I did anything bad."

"Well, I’m pretty sure that you did something bad. Didn’t I tell you before that you were supposed to go home immediately?"

Mo Fang pursed his lips. "I did. Well, almost. But I wasn’t lingering around at the train station. It’s absolutely not like that. You see, there was still some stuff I had to talk about with Lan Heng. So I went over to his apartment and —"

Boss Mo raised his hands in a defensive gesture. "I definitely don’t want to know what you and your boyfriend did." He might have accepted that his son was gay but he still didn’t want to hear about any intimate details of his relationships. Especially not if it was with a scumbag like Lan Heng.

Mo Fang pouted even more. "What are you even saying? He isn’t my boyfriend anymore. I already broke up with him after he cheated on me."

"Then why did you go back there?"

"That …" Mo Fang thought of that suitcase that was still standing in the locker room and couldn’t bring himself to admit to it. "Well, he still owes me an apology."

Boss Mo huffed. "As if! You’re just trying to get back together with him. You should dump him already."

"But I did …" In fact, he already had his eyes on a new boyfriend. Didn’t his father know? Why was he still likes this? This was unfair!

Boss Mo sighed when he saw his son’s expression. Back then when Mo Fang had gotten together with that Lan Heng, he had already told him so but his son hadn’t listened at all. Now, that scumbag had already cheated on him but Mo Fang was still like this.

Whatever he said, it couldn’t change Mo Fang his mind. He would just need to let his son deal with things on his own. It pained him but what else could he do? Thus, in the end, he just waved in defeat. "Alright, alright. Whatever you say. You may go."

Mo Fang was still miffed but he did as his father said and left the kitchen. Anyway, when he got together with Li Ming, his father would understand that he definitely wasn’t hung up over that asshole Lan Heng anymore. Then, he would be proud of him for bringing home such a good son-in-law.
