So after a rest that I didn't want to interrupt, I started by growing my body into the surrounding area. And by surrounding areas, I mean a circle with a radius of 25 meters. I had to move my core all the time to see anything, but I'm getting used to it.

It took a few days, but thanks to this I will be able to feel if something is approaching the entrance of my temporary base. During this process I was more able to look around. Because I focused too much on getting to this slope, I didn't even notice that this world has five moons.

The biggest one was blueish, with fragments of green and white. Now that I think about it, it looks more like a sister planet. But it can only be my imagination. After all, it would be too small to maintain the atmosphere. On the other hand, it's a world that has magic... so anything is possible.

The next two moons, in order from the largest to the smallest one, are practically identical to our Earth's moon, only that one is slightly larger than Earth's, and the most noticeable fact that defines it is that its one edge is destroyed. The second moon is simply smaller than the Earth's.

The last two moons are small and very, one fourth of the size of this Earth's moon. One is slightly green, the other slightly red. The kind you'd expect from a Fantasy world. In the end, it's a wonderful sight that I wouldn't be able to see on Earth.

Hmmm. Something's come into my territory. Something powerful. Something that would give me numb skin, if I had skin, that is.

They are two beings. A rabbit that's the same as I've seen before is trying to escape from the wolf. But this wolf is nothing ordinary. It's bigger than an ordinary wolf from a higher class, that is, it's over a meter tall to the head. The length of the body without the tail is certainly about 160cm, with the tail reaching slightly over 240cm. But here the similarities end with something that would be vaguely similar to an ordinary wolf, although above average.

It has a black short fur, which has a slightly glowing red pattern near the place where the heart is supposed to be. The pattern spreads all over his body, but only gently fading away from his centre. His front paws were larger than his rear paws and had large claws. The snout was clothed with four elongated fangs, which would easily tear a man to pieces. In his red eyes, only hunger can be seen.

While I was discreetly retreating to my crack, which I also reduced to accommodate only me, he got the rabbit. It moved with a speed and agility that an animal of its size should not have. With his paw he pushed the rabbit to the ground and with one movement he bit off its head.

When I was in my crack, and I could barely see him anymore. I appraised him while he was still focused on devouring the rabbit and didn't care about the environment.

He stopped eating and started looking around. I stopped moving for a while and turned off all my skills in case he could sense mana. He halted his gaze in my direction, but not at me in particular. He looked around for a while and then returned to the rabbit. With his fangs, he ripped the meat apart with absolute ease. When he finished eating, he went away towards the forest.

Pfffy. He left. It was... ...dangerous. What was that supposed to be, I won't say, it was really a beast of fiction. An ordinary wolf would look like a sweet puppy next to him. Wait, should I be afraid of him at all? I'm a piece of crystal no bigger than a human head, he'd have no reason to bother me. No, he could consider me dangerous and destroy me, and he'd definitely be able to do that. I can already imagine it crushing my core with one lazy blow of its paw. Brrry, I certainly don't want that.

At least I'm pretty sure he won't look for me actively. Other creatures like him probably have no interest in my person either. What am I a person? Good in my crystal. Ohh. That sounds stupid...

Either way. Once I get a little dangerous, they'll find me immediately and destroy me. This time it's just my hunch, but I think I've seen a flash of intelligence in his eyes. Not a great flash of intelligence, though.

But I should also be grateful to this wolf. He gave me very important information. Well, I haven't quite learned. I've always had these suspicions, but without any evidence, they were always just suspicions. But now I know for sure. So back to the subject, I found out two things.

The first is that every time a creature dies on my territory, I get Dp. For example, even this little rabbit, which from what I've seen is not very powerful. I didn't appraise him, so I don't know exactly, but he's just an ordinary rabbit at the end, and the appraisal gives me a migraine.

To return to the subject. What I got it's not a lot, but in the end it's always something. I got exactly 3Dp for him.I know it' s not much, but it's just like a rabbit. How much would I get for this wolf probably about 100 if not more, and how much for the man?  But I'd have to kill a man too... Am I ready for that? It's not important now! I'll deal with it when the problem comes before me.

The second thing I've seen is that when the wolf was in my territory, it generated 6 Dp a day. The very fact that I can generate Dp has been bothering me for some time now. It's a wonderful thing for me, but the problem is that the beast must be here for a long time. I could try to trap it, but could I? Would a trap stop him? These are the questions I don't want answers to right now.

To be safe, I'm gonna start hunting rabbits and other animals here. I'll have to use the bait and kill them somehow. But I don't have the points to buy any traps. But that shouldn't be a problem. I can figure something out myself. The problem will be to stop the wolf or wolves that could also be attracted to the bait or the animals themselves that would be attracted here.

How much can there be in a pack of Raven Black Wolfs in general. If it's not a loner, at least there will be 20 or 30, maybe even more. It all depends on the pack. From the little information the evaluation gathered, he was an omega. From what I remember, he's the worst in the herd hierarchy, yes? So he's probably also one of the weakest, after all, he was also a young individual. I'm afraid of what alpha looks like.

But inactivity won't change anything. It's time to take matters into my own hands. To start with, I'll dig a few tunnels to change the fact that the only tunnel I have leads straight to my only room. Then we'll start creating some traps. That seems like a good plan. It's time to start executing it.

So, I started by growing my body into a much larger area inside the slope. I'm doing this to have more room to expand the tunnels. When I finished this, I started digging from a straight tunnel leading from my exit. Of course, I did not enlarge the entrance itself, nor bury the tunnel which for the time being leads to my first room. What I am going to do is the first floor of my proper dungeon.

I'm going to make the tunnels themselves one and a half meters by two meters. A bit claustrophobic, but I'm not the one who'll have to worry about it. I laid the walls, floor and ceiling with a stone layer which I tried to form to resemble a brick wall. You know, to create a climate and to train precision...

<Brick wall> was unblocked and 50Dp was acquired.

By unlocking <Brick wall> the skill [Dungeon Architecture] was acquired.

But I was interrupted by the notification that I unlocked the brick wall. And the [Dungeon Architecture] skill that followed it. Hmmm. I mean, I can get the dungeon feature without spending points, too. I even got a Dp value I'd have to pay. [Dungeon Architecture] I'd probably get the first structure I'd get from the store. It just saves all the structures I've created. Ohhh even writes down plans so I can copy them. That's great. Of course I have to buy them all out of the store using Dp or materials, but it was expected.

Well, for now, let's get back to work on the first level of my dungeon. After about 10 meters of digging, I decided to make a T-crossing. One, left for now goes only 6 meters and then turns left again to show only 3 meters of the tunnel and a dead end. For now I have plans for it, which unfortunately have to wait until I know exactly the strength of these wolves.

The next corridor is also 6 meters long, but then it turns right to show nothing for the next 5 meters. I want to build a door here, not using the store's help to get an extra point.

So I start digging out the door profile. I start with the hinges that I put at the top, bottom and center to distribute the tension. Then I slowly remove the stone to form it, and finally, after a few attempts, I disconnect two parts of the hinges. I made them thick to be able to hold the weight of the stone door. When I did this, I slowly began to separate the door from the wall, but before I did so, I added a lock in the form of a sliding piece of stone to lock it.

<Door> was unblocked and 25Dp was acquired.

They were not so great, but apparently it was enough to unlock them in the shop. For me it only makes me not have to play with such a delicate hinge job again. It will save me a lot of time in the long run, but I only did it for Dp.

I redirected the way to my room downstairs outside the door. There's not much reason to have a door if there's nothing behind it, is there? At least I won't get robbed so easily or more likely some animal won't destroy my books when I'm not looking. Not that I wouldn't feel it, or the very fact that no animal would have a reason to destroy them, but you better be sure.

Now, I'm a little low on stone reserves so for now, I'm gonna replenish my reserves and start making animal traps right after that.

...
... ...
... ... ...

I'll replenish the stocks right away. The whole digging thing made Swiss cheese out of my little room, but that doesn't stop me. Nobody's watching it anyway. I'm only one meter away and I'm full...

Your level has increased.

... Cherry cake. This is how I'm going to describe the feeling I'm feeling right now. Nothing better than a reward for hard work. Whoever's doing this or made it, good timing, thanks.

But now is the time to start creating traps. starting with the entrance, the first trap I put at the entrance. A typical hole in the floor covered with a thin layer of stone. It is thick enough to withstand a weight of about 50 kilos, so small animals should pass through, bigger ones fall. The hole itself is only less than 3 meters, so it wouldn't make a big fall. That's why I put half a meter long stone spikes at the bottom. All in all, it will serve as an element of surprise.

And as I expected, I got:

<Pitfall> was unlocked and 10Dp was acquired.

By unlocking <Pitfall> the skill [Dungeon Trapping] was acquired.

<Spiked Pitfall> was unlocked and 25Dp was acquired.
The skill itself is practically identical to [Dungeon Architecture] except that instead of structures, it focuses on traps. It's so obvious that it feels stupid to explain it.

Another trap I've created is a set of six stone spikes, each one is one and a half meters long. They will slip out of the ceiling destroying a thin layer of stone which will mask them. The thickest part of the spike is over five centimeters thick. To each of them I attached a weight on the back side of the spike to further increase the weight and at the same time the force with which they strike. I will activate it by myself through a trigger similar to the one from a crossbow only thicker and made of stone by using my telekinesis. The mechanism itself is very simple and can be applied to practically everything. I've placed the mechanism by the weights. And so I got it:

<Ceiling Spike Trap> was unlocked and 100Dp was gained

This should work to some extent on medium and large size animals and monsters, but I have the impression that the latter will only hurt and frighten or just annoy. I have no way of killing small creatures...

Okay, the last trap I create before the crossing is the pendulum blades, to the exact five blades, they will not move from wall to wall as in movies or games, but along the length of the corridor. They are going to start exactly as the tunnel branches out and finish four meters further. Of course they will move in a pendulum motion, so not all this area will be covered, but the one where the blades will be... May God help anyone who gets there, so to speak.

So I created a thick and wide smooth stone pin around which I created the identical stone ring.  From it I led a quite thick but mostly wide stone rod at the end of which I mounted the very blade. There were spikes on the rod, and the blade itself looked like a semi-circle with spikes at its ends with a stone half-meter blade rising from the lowest point. The blade that is at the very bottom is mainly for small creatures.

With these blades I'll try to kill smaller creatures, but I don't expect much. I'll finish the pap by mounting the little pins that will hold the blades until they're dropped. The blades themselves will fly out three from the side of the junction and two from the tunnel like a jaw. Quite a dangerous trap if I am to say it myself. Though it realizes they'll destroy themselves with the first blow to something harder. And so I end my third trap by masking it.

<Pendulum Blade Trap> was unlocked and 200Dp was acquired.

Great. The schematics are all saved. And to think that the third one was worth 200Dp, I can't wait to see how powerful the traps for 1000 points or more must be, but that doesn't change the fact that I earned some Dp, I think I have to spend it.  It wouldn't be good for them to collect dust. Okay, so what do we have in store.

=====

I can buy three additional skills, the most expensive for 500Dp, even though I have enough for one costing 700Dp. This means that the skills are also limited by my level. X*100+200 where x is my level, or at least that's what I think from all the evidence I have. The rest is even limited in other ways unless the rest of the stuff costs over 500Dp which I don't think so. I probably have to go over the appropriate level to unlock it as I thought before. There's always an option to unlock them yourself, just like with my traps.

Now back to the skills I can buy. If [Dungeon Vision] is what I think, it would be the best choice. The rest of the new ones won't come in handy for now, at least until I start generating Dp while hunting or holding monsters.

Maybe I should finally invest in monsters. But will they be useful? I don't know how powerful Imps or Golems are, but by their very names or price they are not, at least their first versions. They could dig while I grow out or build more inside. But if I have to choose, what kind of monster?

Hmmm. Golems don't have to eat or sleep. But they're probably not intelligent at all and require constant supervision and orders. Probably the best combo would be the Golems as muscles and another monster as brain. But that would increase expenses.

Gnomes probably dig well...

But the Imps, on the other hand, from what I remember, can fight, after all, they're demons...

Golems are actually glorified mane robots...

What's the choice? Golem... A Imp...

Hmmmmmm...

No! Stop thinking so much about it. Let's pick a skill first, because we'll be sitting here until evening...

So as for skills, I'll invest in [Lesser Mana Control]. Hopefully, I'll increase my precision using telekinesis and find out exactly how this whole mana thing works. After all, I need to properly control the only limb(in name) that I have.

The second skill is [Dungeon Vision]. It's expensive, so I hope it's what I think.

[Lesser Mana Control] was bought. 100Dp was lost.

[Dungeon Vision] was bought. 500Dp was lost.

I feel the first skill working right away. Previously I was able to control my tentacles from [Dungeon Telekinesis] quite easily, but it required a lot of concentration. Now I need to concentrate much less now. And interestingly, if I concentrate more, I am able to increase its density and strength using Mp. I have a feeling it will be useful.

Now about [Dungeon Vision]. The cost of this skill was completely worth every point. When I focus on the skill, I can, as you would put it... Leave your core and move around. But the ability to see the horizon suffered. It's not like I can see anything outside my territory, but the range is much lower.

Now that I'm looking at my core, I think I'm quite a crystal. I'm a slightly glowing amethyst crystal that wasn't at the jewelry station. I'm the size of a head, but I already knew it when I was grabbing myself with my tentacles. If I was polished I'd look practically divine.

Now, continuing on about me, I'm curious to see how my status is going to be displayed after my new level. Don't be surprised now because I level up some skills.

Impressive right. My skill development I mean.

I've been digging up mana all the time and renewing it and so I've increased my mana stock. As you can see, it worked wonderfully, I'm not so much limited by the lack of mana resources I needed anymore. To do this, I even processed a mass of biomaterial.

It looks like I've also increased my area enough to increase my mana generation. I won't say it practically makes me worry about mana practically nonexistent. And when I thought that day couldn't get much better.

My ability to grow my body has also accelerated, and with level 5 it has also reduced mana costs. This allowed me to create tunnels so quickly. From the very moment I started to create the traps by hand, my ability to [Dungeon Shaping] has increased by five levels.

But no more talking about me.

Now all you have to do is put the bait down and start hunting.
