Description:

The weakest member of the Outer Ones. The Night Gaunt is what can be referred to as a natural-born grunt. They work well in numbers and against weaker opponents, but the second they come across something that can penetrate their defenses, they are as good as dead.

They are also the Outer One with the most "tolerable" appearance.

Appearance:

The Night Gaunts are slim, humanoid creatures with ink-black skin, curving horns, bat-like wings, and a face lacking eyes. Their "skin" is actually a type of exoskeleton that protects the Night Gaunt from attacks.

Abilities:

The Night Gaunt is great at physical fights due to its solid exoskeleton armor. It can fly even in a vacuum, and high heat or cold weather cannot stop it.

However, it is so weak in the magic arts that it is laughable. They also lack any means to fight against long-range attacking enemies, and their exoskeleton is their best, and only, armor, making them as feeble as babies if they are fighting something that can bypass said armor.
