I never realized just how lonely standing out in the snow could get until I lost Crystal.
It'd been around thirty minutes since she'd and I was sorely hurting for her company, even if she was a traitor to the keep. I still couldn't believe how she'd disregarded everything that being a {Guard} meant. I wish I could've knocked some sense into her before she'd gone off into the wild but now it was too late.
...Ugh. This is really boring. I should probably train or something to stop thinking about everything. I checked my status to see how much SP I'd regenerated - I was up to 105.
Hmm. I never knew when [Lesser Radar] might pick up somebody so training is a no-go. So then what else could I do?
Hmm. Oh, wait, didn't I get that new skill after I revived? Status Menu!

Huh. It was a spell instead of a skill. I did recall seeing something about it costing 1 MP to use...
Alright, well, I have 10 MP. It wouldn't hurt to train this up.
Looking at my spear, I used the same method I did to trigger my skills - focus a tiny bit and then move, although, this time, there wasn't any need for movement. So I just...thought really hard at the spear.
A window of text rewarded me for my efforts.
Item Name: Spear #324 (Wooden Spear)
Item Classification: F-Rank Weapon
Item Description: A low-effort spear 'forged' by a low-leveled {Blacksmith}. The shaft was carved from cheap plank wood and the point is a shiny stone super-glued onto the pole. For some reason, it's still usable in combat.
Owner: Flake (Elden Keep Guard)
Quality: Very Low
Durability: 6/10
Enchantments: None
Weapon Edge: 5%
Stat Requirements: None
My spear...is trash. Literal trash. Who decided that this was the weapon I would use to guard the keep walls?
Whatever. It's served me well when I needed it to. Pulling out my dagger, I used [Item Identification] on it as well.
Item Name: Skewer (Steel Dagger)
Item Classification: F-Rank Weapon
Item Description: A one-edged dagger crudely crafted with love by a novice {Blacksmith}. The handle was made from hardened burkwood and wrapped in cow leather. The blade itself is regular steel.
Owner: Flake (Elden Keep Guard)
Quality: Okay
Durability: 20/20
Enchantments: None
Weapon Edge: 11%
Stat Requirements: 10 AGI
Well, Skewer was a bit better than Spear #324, even if it was still F-rank. I'm glad I had it as a backup whenever my spear broke.
Next came my gambeson...
Item Name: None (Wool Gambeson)
Item Classification: F-Rank Armor
Item Description: A padded wool jacket stuffed with a thick, heavy cloth to keep the wearer warm and somewhat protected.
Owner: Flake (Elden Keep Guard)
Quality: Slightly Low
Durability: 12/15
Enchantments: None
Defense Edge: 11%
Everything of mine is low quality, apparently. I should've expected it, though; I am just a simple {Guard} after all.
Ah. Now there's nothing left of mine to use [Item Identify]. I guess it's time for training, then.
well given how many times those two die,I'd say Flake will be seeing her very soon
nice.
