It was a fine morning… as if, to me it was a hellish morning because I knew today our class was going on a field trip. My name is... well it isn't important right now. I was currently in the back of a bus looking outside the window and asking myself why I had to be here.

It all happened about a week ago, our teacher suddenly told us we were going on a field trip to the mountains. To some of you it may not sound bad, but to me it meant death… well maybe I was over exaggerating. I'm someone you would call a 'Weeb' or an ‘Otaku’. Pretty much I didn't have a moral way of thinking and I watch a lot of anime and love the Japanese culture. That's also one of the reasons why I don't like to go outside or socially interact with people.

While I was questioning my reason to be here, suddenly one of the many in the bus students sat down next to me.

"Hey, don't you think it's boring to be here all alone?" he asked.

His name is… I don't know I didn't memorize the names of the students, let alone know them. I barely remember my own name.

"Nah I don't think so." I answered with an annoyed expression.

The heck does he want with me, nobody would ever go to the back of the bus especially the corner. I always went to the corner to avoid people, how does he dare to enter my realm!!!

"But wouldn't it be more fun with people around?" he worriedly asked.

'Who the hell does he think he is' I thought deep within my mind.

"Actually no, it wouldn't be more 'fun' with people around." I answered without looking back at him

"Is that so… then would you allow me to sit next to you?" He asked

You're already sitting there why bother asking? But well I guess somebody acknowledging your existence is already good enough.

"Yeah suit yourself."

"Thanks."

"…"

"…"

There was an awkward silence between us. I have no idea how long it's been since I had a conversation, so I had no idea how to start one.

As I was thinking about how to answer the question 'How to start a conversation' in my mind, he suddenly asked.

"Where do you think we are actually going to, the teacher said it was a surprise on the day he told us?"

 On the day the teacher announced that we were going on a field trip he said it was a surprise where exactly we were going to, the only thing I could see in the distance were mountains and the like. Of course it didn't really matter to me anyway I just wanted the day to be over so that I could go back home.

"Well, I don't know nor do I care I just want everything to be over with, so that I can go home." I said feeling tired.

"You sure do love your Home?"

"Yeah, I do after all it's the best place in all the world for me, I can do whatever I want whenever I want, and it has all of my games and manga. And I have a lot of time to play and read." I proudly said.

"Yeah, I can tell" he said bewildered.

As the conversation ended, I looked outside the window to realize that the scenery has changed.

The bus we were on was driving on a road on top of a hill. This place was known to be a tourist attraction, but it was also known to be dangerous to drive here… or that's what I've heard. Down the cliff there was a forest, it looked dangerous to fall down from this place, it would mean death by the hand of nature.

Suddenly I realized the teacher and the bus driver were arguing over something. I tried to get the gist of what they were arguing about, and apparently the bus driver took a wrong turn and now it's going to take several hours to get to our destination. Since it was really hot inside the bus it made it harder to think.

'Seriously now it's going to take even longer to get there!' I thought while looking in the teacher's direction, and out of nowhere the conversation took a turn, and the teacher lost his temper and grabbed the bus driver's collar. The bus started to drift off the road into the end of the cliff.

"Stop it, the bus is going to fall off the cli---" one of the students shouted, but he was too late, the moment the teacher pulled the collar a little bit higher the bus completely fell off the road and started rolling down the cliff while hitting every single tree in the way.

By the time I realized what happened, I could only feel the hard ground touching my face. I could feel pain throbbing all over my body. My left arm was twisted in a weird angle, and I felt really cold.

I searched beside me to see if I could find the student that was talking to me, and I found him laid on the ground drenched in blood from head to toe, and it looked like he was unconscious. I tried hold out my hand and check whether his heart was still beating. But I couldn't move because my legs were numb.

'Is this how I'm going to die really?' I thought while I was slowly losing my consciousness.

It was pitch black everywhere I looked, I couldn't feel my body anymore. 'So this means I'm dead right, then how am I still capable of thinking while in this form?'  I thought for myself while I suddenly found a light in the distance.

There were a couple of black silhouettes in the distance, some of them looked familiar to me. Then I suddenly realized those wee my classmates and the teachers who were on the trip.

'Hey where are you going, HEYY?!' I shouted at them, but they didn't answer they only looked forward without looking back.

I wanted to go with them into the light, because I didn't know where else to go.

Suddenly I felt my consciousness drifting away. 'I hope that guy that was talking to me is alright.' As I left my last thought behind, everything turned pitch black once again again.

I regained consciousness after a little while, I opened my eyes to realize I wasn't in the same place as before. It looked like I was in a forest however there was something ominous about, the trees were dead and there was fog everywhere as far as you could see and there were dead plants everywhere. And everything looked white as if it was snowing yet it was not.

'Where am I' I asked myself deep in my mind.

This place certainly does not exist on the that earth I know, and did I not die? I couldn't feel my body however I am still conscious.

Is this a prank or something because it certainly isn't funny and where are the other students and teachers?

I looked at myself to check my wounds but there weren't any and my body was transparent. Uhm… why?

Okay, first let me organize my thoughts:

First: I didn't die (I think)

Second: I can't feel my body

Third: I look kind of transparent

'Can this situation get any weirder?' I thought to myself while checking my surroundings. 'What am I even' I thought when suddenly a transparent game like status plate appeared.

Is this a video game or something, THIS IS AMAZING!!! I never thought this could happen but I'm in another world (I deducted) There's no way this could exist on earth, well my attribute values are low but still this is incredible!
