The mysterious flood in Agent 036 became one of the Underworld mystery. If the Big Boss had returned, why is there a flood on the agent's office that only the Main System would do?
Some said that the Main System liked Agent 036 but got angry after finding out that he is in relationship with Agent 016, it sounds believable because the Main System flood victims is mostly Agent 036. Others believed that a stranded soul in the Underworld which was a canon fodder in Agent 036's host had came to do revenge for giving it's host an unreasonable golden finger. The two sounded ridiculous, but it successfully made Qian Beichen laugh.
"It took me three hours to fix everything. Can I add this to the damage report?" Agent 016 turned to comfort his boyfriend. Agent 013 ignored his friend and looked at the door. The small ajar from the door showed someone peeping, panicking when Qian Beichen met his eyes.
Since he was busted, the man opened the door in a flustered manner. Yu Huang Guang tried to play it cool by fixing his perfectly tied tie, his eyes darting around the place betrayed his facade. He opened his mouth to greet them, "I just returned from my trip. Thank you for overseeing the Agency while I'm away." He paused, hesitantly saying, "M-my name is Yu Huang Guang. What's yours?"
Agent 016 snickered internally. 'You stalked our boss and give him small gifts, are you trying to fool us that you didn't know his name?'
Qian Beichen assumed that the boss wanted to do it for some formal reasons so he politely answered even though he knew that the man know his name already. After some introductions, Qian Beichen straightforwardly asked about work. He wasn't sure how long the big boss would stay and he wanted to make sure his first impression to the boss is good. Though, the big boss is his stalker, work is different from liking someone. "Then boss, they said that the system will resume today. I want to confirm if that is true because we can't waste time.
"...yes. There would also be compensation points but it is still being processed. It would be up for about an hour from now." Yu Huang Guang wanted to speak alone with Qian Beichen but even if the two third wheels are not there, Qian Beichen would likely to speak about work matters more. He silently blamed himself for making Qian Beichen a workaholic worker.
Yu Huang Guang is the reason why Qian Beichen worked directly under him even if he is a newcomer. Though it's not a good decision since Qian Beichen is famous for his bugged existence, it is the only way for him to see and talk to Beichen directly. But these two always get touchy feeling with his crush especially Agent 036. He stared at the certain system agent in indignation. Agent 036 got goosebumps and found out that the big boss is glaring at him. He probably felt the man's intentions, so he bid goodbye to his bosses and went away with his lover.
"Then boss—"
Yu Huang Guang fake coughed, "J-just call me Yuyu."
"..." Didn't it sounded girly? But this is his boss.
"Then Yuyu, what are your orders? Didn't you come here for something?" Qian Beichen resisted his urge to bite his tongue and successfully called his boss Yuyu.
The man placed the box he was holding earlier. Based on his previous actions, this box would be soured sweets again. Qian Beichen didn't know how the man knew he liked them since he never ate them again since his first love died. For some unknown reason, he felt something good about the man that he can never refuse. Realistically speaking, its been so long since his first love disappeared, although he felt nothing, it doesn't mean that he will not allow himself to not fall in love again. It's just that no one had catches his interest yet. Well, except now there's one and it's his boss.
"Where do you get them?" Qian Beichen received the gift. He decisively got one of the candy and passing one to the man. Some of the candies are similar to what the Main System gives him. He figured that the man is connected to the Main System; he wasn't naive.
"From the worlds I visit. I-I also give some to brother and sister-in-law." The man is obviously trying to say that the gifts are nothing special, but he didn't want to let Qian Beichen misunderstand too. He continued, "B-but I give this to you first and brother gets the remaining ones you don't like."
Qian Beichen looked at the man who flustered himself again. The way the man's ears would turn red from blush, and the cute gestures which contrasts his manly countenance. He can't help but to laugh, rending the other embarrassed.
"Don't laugh."
Qian Beichen smiled. "Okay, I won't laugh at Yuyu." The man stared dazedly at him as he smiled. He probably became stunned from what he sees. Qian Beichen leaned in and kissed the man in surprise. It happened so quickly that Yu Huang Guang didn't manage to move when Qian Beichen's tongue had grazed his lips.
Qian Beichen licked his own lips and said, "Tastes like lemon. I should kiss you more to taste it better."
That day, Yu Huang Guang's mind can't comprehend the overwhelming emotions that surged inside his heart. His brain shut down that he didn't move for minutes, making Qian Beichen panic.
