This was supposed to be the chapter for last week, but something came up and i was not able to finish it. Then this week was the first week back at work, had school, and was completley exhausted afterwards because i have to get used to my work rythim again. As for this week, i was quite busy, meaning that i couldn´t finish this chapter untill now. 

 

The situation in the guild was intense.

Vulcan had just told Makarov wat happened, Zeldaris and Aversia were too worked up to properly tell everything.

Everyone became upset as they heard that Laxus had actually tried to kill Levi and had planned to kill everyone at the park as well.

The loudest voices were Natsu and Erza, although Natsu only wanted to fight Laxus.

Makarov on the other hand was going through multiple emotions, sadness, disappointment, anger and many more.

He knew that Laxus had become increasingly aggressive, but never would he think that he would actually try to hurt them, let alone kill them.

The fact that Laxus had hurt Natsu on multiple occasions was something that Makarov didn´t see as such, since most of the time it was Natsu that jumped at Laxus, wanting to fight him.

But none the less, he could excuse his behavior up to that point, but he would never excuse or forgive his actions today.

“Gramps, we can´t let him get away with this without being punished, let me teach him a lesson!”

“Master, I know that you still have hope for Laxus, but we can´t let him get away with attempted murder!”

“Erza, I know that all too well. Believe me, he will get his just punishment for his actions. However, we need to be careful, if Laxus is as unstable as Vulcan had told us, then we need to be ready. There is also the fact that the Thunder God Tribe won´t just stay idle as well.”

“Those three will definitely chose to stay loyal to Laxus, no doubts about that. Seems like a fight really is unavoidable.” Gray added.

Makarov nodded.

“Which is why we need to come up with a plan and fast, I worry about the things that that boy has planned for the guild.”

‘Hopefully Laxus is not involved with Ivan´s plans.’

 

Meanwhile Laxus and his bodyguards were meeting with a few people from Raven Tail.

“So, you are the ones that my old man had sent over to help me? But I have to say it´s been a long time, Solas, Bonmu.” Laxus said.

The people at the front were the short figure of Solas, still hidden under the hood, and a tall, muscular woman with broad shoulders and long brown hair that was tied into a braid.

She wore a green band around her upper chest, which was decorated with golden symbols, and a long sarong skirt, with the same color.

Her skin was covered with a pattern like tattoo.

“It indeed has been a long time, Laxus. Your father sends his regards, he is terribly sorry that he was unable to come as well, but something came up and he had to take care of it.”

“Hahaha It has been indeed far too long but look at you! You look like as if you could give me a good challenge! Come on, let us have some fun!”

While Solas and Bonmu were greeting Laxus and talking about how much he had changed since the last time they had seen him, Freed, Evergreen, and Bickslow were looking at the four armored people that were standing behind Solas and Bonmu.

“Do you get that feeling from them?” Bickslow asked as he used his eyes on one of the four armored men.

“Yeah, I don´t have a good feeling with them, same with those two.”

“With the first part I agree Freed but are you sure that you aren´t simply jealous of how close they seem to be with Laxus.” Evergreen said in a teasing manor.

Although Freed blushed just a little, he still glared at Evergreen.

“There is a time for jokes!”

“Oh my!” Evergreen said while holding her fan before her face.

After that little joke, all three of them became serious again and continued to watch the armored man.

Who in turn hadn´t moved at all, not even the slightest movement could be seen.

 

Over the next few days not much happened in Fiore.

Makarov was trying to figure out where Laxus was hiding and how much he was involved with Ivan´s plans.

Zeldaris and Aversia were using the free time to train their dragon slayer magic with Natsu and Gajeel.

Gajeel was getting through the same training as Natsu had, mostly focusing on body training.

The reason for this was simple, magic power resides inside the body of the mage, a healthy body can help in increasing the amount of magic power and can withstand magic power of higher quality.

Many types of magic also interact with the body of the mage in many other ways and require certain things.

A good example for this is take over magic, which transforms the body, depending on the type of take over magic, and those transformations take a toll on the bodies.

It is also normal that using a lot of magic power at once takes a toll on the body, magic power becomes increasingly more important to a mage the more magic power, and the higher the quality is, to the point that it becomes a life force for the mage.

Also, there was exhaustion after using almost all of the magic power that someone possess, making them most of the time unable to move or outright losing consciousness.

However, if they were to train their bodies and get used to the feeling of having their magic power almost completely drained, then it is possible for them to lessen the effects or outright ignore them.

As for dragon slayer magic, it was a magic that was heavily reliant on the body, for multiple reasons.

First, dragon slayer magic is literally someone that was using the magic of a dragon, a being that even the gods feared, meaning that a really strong body that could withstand the power of a dragon, even if it were just a tiny amount, became a necessity, a strong will was also a requirement.

Secondly, it is a magic that changes the body into that of a dragon and incorporates a lot of physical combat, meaning that it uses up a lot of stamina and at the beginning of the training it even puts a lot of stress on the body.

And lastly, dragon slayers, especially fully matured and trained ones, have massive amounts of magic power inside them, which they also need to circulate through their whole body when fighting and also expand a huge amount of magic power.

Because of that Vulcan had prioritized Natsu´s body over his magic power, partly because it was growing passively as well, and was now doing the same with Gajeel.

Natsu was currently attacking Aversia with his blazing fists, while trying to put an increasing amount of magic power into the flames.

Aversia was either dodging or blocking them.

Meanwhile Zeldaris was practicing a certain dragon slayer spell, one that was mostly used by either light, holy, shadow or darkness types of dragon slayer.

It was called rough silk and was mostly used as a combo skill, but Zeldaris wanted to use it alone.

The spell would create thin threads, similar to silk, from the fingertips.

These threads would penetrate the body and deal massive damage.

For Zeldaris this was a good spell, since he was focusing on using his claws, when fighting in close combat.

Also, both Zeldaris and Aversia had also put more emphasis on their dragon slayer magic in general, both had neglected it for some time now.

“I regret everything!!!” Gajeel yelled as Vulcan was putting him through hell, he seemed to have been influenced by his wife more than he would like to admit.

“You will get used to it.” Vulcan said with a smile.

“LIKE HELL I WILL!!!”

“We will see.” Vulcan said while laughing.

The other three were silently praying for Gajeel.

 

They continued to train until it begun to become dark, they decided to take a bath in the hot spring to relax and recover a bit.

Of course, Aversia didn´t bath together with the boys, she didn´t see herself as feminine or anything but even she had common sense in those situations.

The with magic infused hot water was just what Natsu and Gajeel needed to regain their strength.

“Ah, there is nothing better than a hot bath after a long day of training.” Zeldaris said while trying to clean the areas between his scales.

Both Aversia and Zeldaris would always bathe in their true form, to keep their scales and their claws clean and shiny, just like dragons both of them took a lot of effort in keeping them clean.

“Aye, the water is just right.” Happy said, who was swimming in a small tub filled with hot water, Happy was not able to withstand the water of the hot spring for long.

“This mansion is just way too creepy and mysterious! It is weird that none of you are suspicious about it.” Gajeel said while sighing, he had quickly regained his stamina.

“Believe me, we were a bit tense about it, but nothing happened and both Ave and the old man are still trying to get some answers, especially about that door and what is behind it.”

“I am still a bid surprised that you made me give that information toward Raven Tail. Are you not worried that he might think that ‘thing’ is down there?”

“What thing?” Natsu said while tilting his head in confusion.

“Nothing to important Natsu, and before you ask, no me and Ave don´t know what it is either, we don´t know everything. As for your question Gajeel, I don´t think he will. He will of course do some research about this place, just to be sure, but he will quickly find out that this place doesn´t have any connection with the guild. Besides, that door just feels like it is ancient, probably much older than the city itself.”

“Wouldn´t that mean that he will be interested in what is inside and would try to get it, no matter the cost?”

Zeldaris burst out laughing after hearing that, to the point that even Aversia was able to hear him laughing and the woman´s bath was on the other side of the area.

“The old man and Ave have tried for almost two years. There is no way that he and his guild will be able to open it. And if they are stupid enough to try and break into the mansion…”

At the last part, Zeldaris´s eyes became sharp, mixed with a bit of bloodlust, giving both Gajeel and Natsu no doubt about what would happen.

After they had finished bathing, Zeldaris prepared dinner while Aversia, Gajeel and Natsu were preparing the table and brought some drinks.

Ophiuchus also returned home from her work in the guild, she usually leaves together with Aversia but on some occasions she stays behind and continues her work.

The spirit helped Zeldaris carry the large amount of food to the table.

As usual the amount was quite large.

The six of them ate together and got into conversations, Happy sat on the table, happily munching on one of the fish that Zeldaris had given him.

After basically devouring the massive mountain of food, did they play some board games.

 

While they were happily playing, Solas and Bonmu were kneeling before a shikigami that had taken on a human appearance.

Solas and Bonmu were currently reporting what happened today.

“I see. Excellent work you two. Continue like this and continue to play the loyal fool toward my idiotic son.”

“As you wish Lord Ivan.”

“As you wish Lord Ivan.”

The copy of Ivan nodded and turned back into a normal shikigami.

“How long do we have to continue like this? I want to bash some skulls and I am getting tired to listen to that unstable kid.” Bonmu said in irritation.

“Not much longer. We will start soon, verry soon.”
