Ok, this was suposed to come out sunday, but planning was never my strong point.

I also have no time for any comments because i am posting this right before i have to go to my first night shift... Anyway, enjoy the chapter, bye.

As Zero´s blood flew through the air, Erza moved forward, her sword ready to strike again.

However, Zero was now cautious of her blade and dodged to the side before launching a punch toward the side of the blade.

Erza tried to redirect her sword so that Zero´s fist would land on the edge of the sword but sadly wasn´t fast enough.

But as the fist collided with the blade something unexpected happened, the ‘wind’ that moved around the blade cut through Zero´s fist, turning it into a bloody mess.

Normally something like that would cause anyone to pull back their fist, however, Zero only smiled.

Ignoring the searing pain, Zero put more strength into his fist and pushed the blade aside, causing Erza to lose her posture.

Zero pointed his other hand at Erza and fired a spell at her at point-blank range.

Luckily, Erza had anticipated that move and summoned one of the shields of her Adamantine Armor to block the spell.

The spell fell onto the shield and pushed back both it and Erza, giving her some distance from her opponent.

Zero didn´t rush after Erza and instead looked at his heavily injured hand.

“Interesting, perhaps you will prove to be more fun than I had initially thought. That little trick of yours is quite clever. Let´s see how far it will bring you.

The trick that Zero meant was how Erza managed to cut Zero´s chest even though her sword hadn´t touched it.

What Erza did was simple yet very clever, she used the energy that swirled around her sword.

The ‘wind’ that is gathered around the blade of Blade of Dragnof is the magic power that the blade had consumed from its wielder and stored for its other abilities.

However, Erza had some control over the stored energy.

So, Erza controlled the energy and gathered it at the tip of the blade and turned it into an invisible extension of her blade.

But the magic power was unable to move far away from the blade's body, which is why the invisible blade didn´t cut deep into Zero´s chest.

And at first, Zero had no idea what happened but after getting his hand shredded, from the energy that floated around the sword, he quickly figured it out and pushed Erza back with his spell to increase the distance between the two.

Meanwhile, Erza was trying to stop the spell from continuing to push her away from Zero.

She had already sent her sword away because if she had continued to wield it in this situation, she would have run out of magic power before she could get close to Zero again.

Holding the shield with both hands, Erza put her whole body against the shield to try and stop the spell from pushing her away, but to no avail.

And as she realized that it was futile to resist the spell, Erza dropped the idea and started to plan another way to approach this fight.

But suddenly something appeared behind her and grabbed her left shoulder.

Erza could feel the warmth of the body behind her and the smooth yet hard scales that were covering it.

“Zeldaris!” Erza said in surprise.

“Sorry for being late… Things on my end took a bit longer than anticipated.” Zeldaris said a bit embarrassed, confusing Erza a bit.

With the added help of Zeldaris, the two managed to stop their momentum.

Putting all of her remaining strength into her arms, Erza changed the angle of the shield, causing the spell to be redirected and fly off into the horizon.

As Erza saw the spell disappearing into the darkness of the night, Erza let go of the shield, letting it fall to the ground, revealing the large mark that the spell had left behind.

Zeldaris looked worriedly at Erza, who started to breathe heavily and seemed to have barely any strength left in her body.

Erza had almost reached her limits.

Zeldaris stepped before Erza, his senses told him that Zero was approaching quickly.

Getting ready to engage with Zero, Zeldaris took a stance and glanced in the direction from where Zero was approaching them.

“Can you move?” Zeldaris asked, worried about Erza´s condition.

“I can still stand… And I can still do two or three decent swings…” Erza said as she summoned a normal katana.

She would wait for the right moment before bringing out it again.

Zeldaris nodded, but he was still worried.

But there was no time to worry about Erza´s situation as Zero suddenly appeared out of the shadow of a building, a Dark Capriccio on his fingertip ready to be fired.

As soon as he saw Zero approaching, Zeldaris rushed toward Zero.

Seeing the half-dragon rushing toward him, Zero grinned and also rushed directly toward Zeldaris.

However, before the two collided with one another, an explosion rang out in the distance… And then another and another.

Multiple explosions appeared at the edges of the city and one near its center, however, both Zero and Zeldaris didn´t pay any attention to it and continued to approach each other.

Zeldaris spread out his claws, and grey flames emerged from the tips of his claws and turned into thin threads.

“[Chaos Dragon´s Rough Silk]”

Zero on the other hand fired his prepared Dark Capriccio, however not directly toward Zeldaris but slightly to the side.

This confused Zeldaris quite a lot, as he knew that Zero wasn´t nearly injured enough for his aim to be influenced.

And as he saw the large grin on Zero´s face, Zeldaris realized that something was wrong, and he was right.

Zero´s spell was still connected to his hand and as he moved his hand, the spell followed suit, changing its course and heading directly toward Zeldaris´s head, while also cutting off his route at the front.

Seeing no other option, Zeldaris gave up his attack and jumped upward, spreading his wings and soaring into the sky.

“HAH! What´s wrong dragon? Afraid of my power? I hope you can still show me more otherwise you are just utterly disappointing!” Zero yelled while laughing, sending his whip upward toward Zeldaris.

However, what Zero didn´t know was that Zeldaris was much more agile in the air than on the ground, meaning that he had no trouble dodging the attacks nor getting closer, although it was a bit awkward to have to actually dodge spells for a change.

But because of the penetration force that Zero´s spells had, the current scales of either Aversia or Zeldaris weren´t able to withstand it.

Bit by bit, Zeldaris got closer and closer to Zero, however as he was halfway through, the tower finally hit the ground and a gigantic inferno emerged from within.

The flames quickly spread in every direction, consuming everything in their way.

Seeing this, Zeldaris flew backward and looked at the scene.

“Took him long enough.” Zeldaris said with a smile.

Erza also looked shocked at the scene; however, her eyes became wider as she noticed magic that belonged to a certain battle maniac.

The flames started to move into the air before flying back toward the ruins of the tower and a slurping sound became louder and louder before everyone in the city could hear it.

“NATSU!” Erza exclaimed in shock.

“MISS ERZA!” yelled Wendy as she came flying toward Erza.

“Wendy? What are you doing here? You should leave, it isn´t safe here.” Erza exclaimed, warning the young dragon slayer.

“I know that I am not strong enough to help you or Zeldaris in this fight. But there is still a way for me to help as well.” Wendy said as she and Carla landed on the ground.

Wendy quickly headed toward Erza; her hands were covered in green light.

Wendy stretched out her hands toward Erza and the green light flew toward Erza and covered her body as well.

Erza could feel how her strength returned and her body healed as well.

“This is… Healing magic…” Erza said as she clenched her fist, to make sure that her body had regained its strength.

Wendy´s face became pale, and she began to breathe heavily.

“I am sorry, but I didn´t have enough power to fully heal you…” Wendy said weakly.

“What are you saying child, you have already done more than enough.” Carla said worriedly, trying to cheer Wendy up.

“She is right, Wendy, you have helped more than enough. You can leave the rest to us.” Erza said reassuringly and headed toward where Zero was.

Wendy and Carla watched as Erza disappeared from their sight.

“Miss Erza… Natsu… Zeldaris… Good luck.”
