Gohan immediately stood up and grabbed Devil Ape's robes as his bloodshot eyes stared into Vegeta's surprised eyes.

Not only he was surprised, but the other two Immortals were even more astonished while the six members of the younger generation felt a slight shiver run down their hearts. At this moment, none of them had the previous contempt for Gohan and the two youths of Pilaf Clan also gained a sense of respect towards Gohan.

The reason for their reaction is simple. Devil Ape is a lofty immortal while Gohan is still a Rank 1 ant and yet this ant dared to grab a lofty immortal's collars.

Devil Ape's surprise turned into rage as Gohan was slammed back.

"You atrocious Junior! I will properly discipline you after taking you back to the clan!"

Devil Ape shouted righteously as a faint halo appeared behind his body. His robes fluttered without wind and his eyes were full of dignity.

But his actions had caused waves to surge in the hearts of Innocent Smile Immortal and Metal Arm Immortal.

They both looked at each other and quickly nodded, as if they had already reached a consensus.

Meanwhile, Gohan, who was smashed onto the ground smiled secretly.

Even though his actions were risky, they weren't completely baseless. Previously, Devil Ape had already called him his junior, this was an act of establishing a relationship with Gohan.

This statement also made Gohan sure that Devil Ape knew that he was a possessor of a legendary constitution.

Not only that, Gohan's act of grabbing Devil Ape's robe was a method to test Devil Ape's limits. And by his actions, it is proved that Gohan was a very valuable being to Devil Ape or the Clan behind him and they only wanted to discipline his behaviour so that they could use him for the family.

Gohan immediately stood up and kowtowed.

Devil Ape looked at Gohan and heard the sincerity in his voice. He nodded and smiled kindly. Devil Ape quickly transformed from an arrogant Immortal to a benevolent Elder.

"I have seen your potential and you are filial to your family. Since you have lost your family, I am willing to take mercy on you. Speak! Are you willing to be my disciple?"

Vegeta walked near Gohan and asked softly.

By now, the two Immortals already felt that things were wrong while the other members of the younger generation had already gone numb.

Even though they were currently the most talented of their families, they were still quite far away from being a disciple of a Gu Immortal.

The moment Devil Ape heard Innocent Smile Immortal's words, his expression changed and he immediately realised his mistake.

As he guessed previous, he wasn't the best person to perform in such a manner. His overly enthusiastic approach caused the other two immortals to be suspicious and Innocent Smile Immortal immediately stepped up.

Even though she didn't know much about the situation, she knew that Gohan was important to the Saiyans and she could use him as a chip against the Saiyan Clan.

Meanwhile, Metal Arm remained silent. Even though he wanted to take part in this argument, he didn't have enough streng6to support his words. 

It was at this time, Gohan's eyes turned bright. All this time, he had been trying to establish a good image in front of Devil Ape because the other had use for him. If Devil Ape had use for Gohan then this meant that he needed to nurture Gohan, too. 

This nurturing was extremely important to Gohan and if he showed a more righteous image, the suspicions of other clan members towards him would reduce greatly.

And at this time, Innocent Smile Immortal became the perfect target to showcase his righteous character.

Gohan looked at Innocent Smile Immortal and frowned.

"I am sorry but Great Immortal showed me kindness, healed my wounds and even showed concern for my behaviour. I can't forget Great Immortal's kindness!"

His eyes blazed passionately as he swung his arm. His entire demeanor made him look like a valiant warrior.

Hearing Gohan's complete rejection, Innocent Smile's face turned extremely gloomy and her hands transformed into claws.

"Hooo~ A Rank 7 Gu Immortal is trying to harm a mortal... no, a crazy bitch is trying to harm my disciple."

Before Innocent Smile Immortal could even move, a menacing aura locked onto her and a rough voice sounded behind her.

Slowly turning her neck, Innocent Smile Immortal saw a humanoid ape with black furs covering its body. Its red eyes shone with killer intent.

Fear gripped her heart. Even though she was a rank 7 Gu Immortal, she couldn't afford to fight a losing battle. But she also couldn't lose her face.

"Hah? Is Devil Ape Immortal trying to stop me from teaching a mortal brat a lesson?"

She looked extremely cold and her claws elongated.

"Mortal brat? He is my Disciple! You crazy bitch! If you don't screw off, I will fucking remove your participation for the contest of blessed land!"

Hearing Devil Ape's brash words, not only Innocent Smile Immortal, but all the people present felt extremely astonished.

Innocent Smile looked gloomy and she snorted.

Seeing her stance, Devil Ape's eyes turned even more frenzied.

"Oh? Still not moving? Perhaps, you don't know how I got my title of Devil Ape!"

The moment he spoke these words, Innocent Smile's expression crumbled and she moved back with an extremely ugly face.

Seeing her move back, Devil Ape still did not remove his methods and remained in his transformed state. He walked towards Gohan. His steps shook the ground and people's heart.

"Gohan Kai... from now on, you will be named Gohan. You won't take up your surname until you avenge your clan. Do you accept it?"

Devil Ape crossed his arms and looked at Gohan coolly. But even then, he looked extremely ferocious.

Gohan immediately kowtowed and shouted.

"This Disciple accepts!"

"Kekeke, that old brat is still so passive! I am quite disappointed. Not only him, but even Mai's granddaughter is also the same. It looks like Broly can really recruit some quality elders."

An old man with wrinkles in his face cackled and looked at the two clan heads in front of him.

He was the Clan Head of Red Ribbon Clan while the beautiful figure, Mai, is the Clan Head of the Pilaf Clan. Meanwhile, Broly is the recent Clan Head of the Saiyan Clan.

These three Immortals controlled most of the Southern Border.

When the old man spoke of her granddaughter, Mai couldn't help but shake her head.

"Even though she bears my own name, she has been nothing but an embarrassment."

Even though Mai had a gentle smile on her face, her voice was neutral and somewhat cold.

It looks like she is bitter inside because of her own blood's uselessness.

"Well, the rest of the things will be taken care by them. We have observed enough. Let's go!"

Broly spoke and turned into a white mist before floating away.

Mai and the Old Man used their own methods to return back to their clans.
