Miria grinned as Zach walked into the room. "Hey! I've been curious what you have. You want to see mine too? We can compare, one bug person to another."
Zach laughed. "Huh, sure, why not." He said, sitting down and bringing up his character sheet.
"Huh, alright. I see some real strengths here... Have you tried out that stinger yet?" Miria asked.
"No, not yet. It's awkward to use, what with being behind my legs and all. I'd have to, like, jump on someone to use it properly." Zach said, shrugging. "Can I see your sheet now?"
Miria nodded. "Oh, right, here it is." She said, bringing up her character sheet and abilities.
Zach frowned. "Hey, wait a minute, your physiology abilities are straight up better than mine are? What the hell."
Miria shrugs awkwardly. "Well, they're not all straight up better... And you do have that stinger. That poison sounds like no joke."
"Hmmph. I suppose... It still seems unfair? But I guess this new system isn't guaranteed to be fair any more than the last one was." He sighs. "Anyway, what do you want me to do? Grind some levels? I suppose my prior experience as an environmental lawyer will be hard to make use of..."
"Yeah, that sounds like a good start. Defend the place if necessary, and beyond that, help anyone who needs it with whatever they need? Maybe see what you can learn about the system, I guess. In the long run, decide what you want to focus on and then pick up some skills. You can ask around about what skills people have, and get them to demonstrate? Me and Jack can both show you our 'Melee Combat' skills in action, and Claire has some magic skills, though those are less useful to you most likely. Oh, and Janet has Stealth, now."
Zach nods distractedly. "Hmm... I wonder if I can learn magic, actually? It looks amazing. Mind if I try? I'll need help with it, most likely... Might not work..."
Miria shrugs again. "Sure. I'll ask Claire to help you, we'll see what happens. You have Spirit, which seems like it's a purely magical stat, so I bet you can manage it... Though, we could also use another scout, and I bet you'd be decent at it. I'll talk to Janet about that... You can do the magic too though, sound good?"
"Sure, lets do it." Zach agreed.

The RPG info is kinda blowing these chapters out... I hope people don't mind too much? :/
It would really help if you gave a brief description of what each of the characters look like just before their system page.
@Look_At_My_Massive_Plot Yeah I'm really bad about giving physical descriptions in general. I gave very short and vague descriptions of all the new arrivals in chapter 14, and haven't really done anything more since. Not sure putting it before the system pages here is the right place though? I can put physical descriptions in the Glossary... I should probably also put more in the text? I'll see. Any more thoughts on the subject? :/
@DrStrangeLover A lot of these characters were thrown into new, strange bodies, there should definitely be some confusion and anger about that, and that would give you a natural, organic place to work descriptions into dialogue. Can’t get better at something if you don’t work at it, and just a personal opinion but having to go to a glossary to remind myself what a character looks like heavily ruins my immersion. Whatever you decide to do with that I’m enjoying your work so far and will continue to enjoy it going forward!
@DrStrangeLover maybe somthing you can do is put the sheets in spilers instead of quotes so people can look at them if they want and hide it when their done.
@tekknotrain ...That's a thought actually, I might go back and do that.
@DrStrangeLover it's a great way of allowing people to not read/see somthing if they don't want to. i also belive there's a way of calling them special stuff instead of just spoiler but i dunno how it works.
