The mighty green-winged Mantis with a sharper, bigger blade stood at the top of higher parts of the mountain.

Meta identified the beast as a Maverick Seru. It was an empowered Swordie that had powers that surpassed that of a Martial Formation expert of the sixth level!

Dyne had no choice but to emulate games on his obsolete phone and could only play certain games. And among those was the GBA emulator that he also dove himself into. Through that, he managed to experience great Pokemon adventures across many three generations of Pokemon.

Leafy Green, Fire Red, Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald were his games. And as a hedonist, Dyne had allowed himself to enjoy all forms of pleasure these games involved. From catching Feebas on the dreaded six tiles of a certain route to the pursuit of getting the highest IV values for the main Pokemon group he owned.

He heard of tales that the later generations of the Pokemon series used an EXP Share that instantly divided exp on all carried Pokemons, and Dyne had dreamed of that because this meant he could train ALL Pokemon. Dyne didn’t just want to ‘catch them all.’ He wanted to train them all. But alas, the world needed to be saved, and the terrorist, military and political leaders wanted to wreak havoc. Dyne never fully managed to go on his dream Pokemon Adventure but only had a pathetic journey of only beating the Elite Four. However, his hedonism demanded more than just that.

And now, there before him, was Scyther.

Dyne and his team were constantly using the powerful Reflect magic that had killed or confused those nearby.

“Everyone, we have to catch it! I’ve been preparing for this day all my life!” Dyne glanced at Scyther.

“All your life?” Tetsu was confused.

“So this will be my first Pokemon? I prefer a Heracross for its sweeping physical abilities and great move-set! But I guess a Scyther will do. Can it evolve?! Where can I find Metal Coat?!” Dyne began to speak quickly and was starting to have a panic attack.

“Master Dyne! Calm down!” Jaden sensed it.

“Master Dyne, we’ll help you catch it! And we will find Metal Coat! But our important task now is to survive.” Arya interrupted.

But in reality, it was Earth Arya who spoke.

“Tee-hee. He’s so cute when he’s like this. I can’t believe I thought his nerdy side was weird back on Earth. Oh well, I guess knowing he’s a god-shocking freak with great powers makes this nerdy side of his a charming point. Kinda like Henry Cavill...” Earth Arya secretly chuckled to Arya.

“Ri-Right! Sorry! I got a little too excited.”

Arya’s words allowed Dyne to return to the real world.

At that moment, Scyther moved.

He was faster than the Swordies and made a strong slashing motion.

BOOM!

The entire pyramid that Jedo created trembled!

“Impossible! He’s too strong!” Jedo cursed. His Pyramid shield had a great defense that even the Ra-Seru Heroes stomped on how to destroy it even after awakening four Genesis Trees. And yet, this Scyther managed to damage it.

The slash created a backlash of force that threw Scyther back.

But Scyther hopped back and ran once more towards the massive pyramid and made a powerful slash.

“Everyone! Retreat! He’s going to cut through it!” Dyne shouted.

The group retreated as Scyther made the slash.

SLASH!

The entire pyramid was cut in half by the severe attack made. Jedo’s powers dissipated, and Dyne was the first to move.

He charged forward and raised the Wild Arm.

BANG! BANG! BANG!

Dyne shot at point-blank, but it was still too slow as Scyther evaded it by hopping to the left.

It hopped back with extreme speed and was about to slice Dyne into two.

BOOM!

Ishreth had launched a spell at it right when the pyramid shield fell, and these were Missiles of Magic.

“Pepper Breath!” Agumon shouted.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

Two more missiles of magic and Agumon’s attack struck Scyther, causing it to stagger back. This allowed Jaden and Chad to charge in.

SLASH! SMASH!

A fist and a slash were made, sending Scyther flying back.

“I want a team to fight the Scyther and the rest to fight those around us! We’ve weakened them! So fight and kill quickly! Bertugo, Brod! Steal more!” Dyne gave his orders and began to cast numerous fire spells at Scyther.

But Scyther quickly recovered and used its wings to fly back and charge at the group as he evaded the gunshots of Dyne.

“Noa!” Shiva shouted, and Noa knew what to do.

She used the power to summon a Gizam but poured it directly into Shiva.

“Diamond Dust!” Shiva shouted as she shot the massive ice magic. There was no time to act weak. The enemy was strong, as it could destroy the shield that even Shive knew she couldn’t break.

CRACKLE! CRACKLE!

A cold wind shot towards Scyther, covering the entire space with ice. Her ice attack shot back and even damaged the surviving Nightos that recovered from their confusion.

The Scyther was covered in a thick layer of ice.

SLASH!

But Scyther somehow managed to slash his way out and destroy the ice that trapped it.

At that point, Dyne had completed harnessing the Fire Element in Grim.

“Are you ready, Grim?!”

“Ready! Big Brother!” Grim answered.

Dyne raised Grim and harnessed the energy of the Mist he had been gathering in him. He underwent Trance, and the power of the Berserker showed itself.

He had already done Free Energy, and now, with Grim, he could harness fire that could create a massive blast.

“Tidal Flame!” Dyne shouted as he caused a massive wave of fire to shoot toward Scyther and purged the enemies behind them.

BOOM! BOOM!

A wave of fire that looked like a tidal wave burned the uphill climb and attacked more of the Swordies approaching.

The screams and screeches of the monsters and Serus echoed throughout the area, but Scyther did not scream.

He was blown back by a bit and suddenly moved at such an incredible speed that there seemed to be two of them!

“Double Team? Or is this Jette’s clone?” Dyne frowned as he saw the two Scythers. His Trance ended as that attack drained him of the Mist he had gathered in him.

Two arrows flew, and one of the arrows passed through one of the Scythers while the other blocked the attack as the two began to charge at Dyne and his team.

Amorien and Arya shot those arrows and began to focus on the Scyther that blocked.

But as they shot more arrows, these arrows passed by!

BOOM!

Jaden caused his shield to create a wide wall thanks to the Shield Elixir and managed to create a Spirit Wall.

The wall faltered, but the group realized the other Scyther was now the real body.

“He’s switching between the two! Attack both! This is a Wind Magic!” Dyne warned.

Two teams charged at the two Scyther.

The Hunters, Tetsu, and Chrone charged ahead to target one Scyther, and Serge, Vahn, Gala, Noa, and Chad raced toward the other.

Chad charged forward, and his punch struck the body of the Scyther. But the defense of the Scyther was too strong that it easily resisted Chad’s punch.

SLASH!

The Scyther slashed, but Noa pulled Chad away just in time.

Gala’s lighting hammer, Vahn’s burning sword, and Serge’s Swallow, which had both Fire and Ice thanks to Ururu and Gyoro, attacked Scyther, but the attacks slipped through!

SLASH!

A powerful slash struck Chrone, who was in his ape form.

Chrone was thrown back, and his Monkey form was dispelled at the terrifying slash.

But at that moment, Dyne ordered the two Theeders he summoned to attack.

KZZZT! KZZZT!

Two turning lasers struck Scyther from the left and the right. Dyne and Jedo summoned it and waited for the Scyther to swap with this one.

As the attack landed, the other Scyther disappeared.

Rena quickly healed Chrone, who was critically wounded.

“Everyone! Knights of the Round!” Dyne ordered, and everyone quickly attacked.

Two Chocobos raced and delivered a blow, and Dyne and Serge quickly followed.

SMASH! SMASH!

SLASH! SLASH!

At the impact of the Chocobo, the Scyther was thrown back. Dyne and Serge slashed down their weapons at it.

Jaden was still suffering from the backlash of his Spirit Wall being broken, but he brought out the remaining force he had to deliver a slash from the back.

Chad and Amorien followed, each using a technique, hitting the back. They knew that the Juggles technique, which they used to defeat Chrone’s ape form, would not be enough, so they had to bombard it with attacks quickly.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

Agumon, Ishreth, and Arya shot several exploding attacks of magic and force that struck the front.

Four Slimes charged in and tackled from all sides.

The Hunters, the Ra-Seru heroes, and the Gomboos made their attack as they were riding the Slimes.

STAB! SMASH! POW!

All made their attacks and retreated as the falling fist of the Zenoir crushed down on Scyther.

BOOM!

Scyther was pressed to the ground by the series of attacks.

“Pin him down! Rena! Serge! Give me a lot of Light energy!” Dyne ordered.

The team rushed in and held the Scyther so that it couldn’t move.

Dyne first brought out everything that was in the Monster Hive. All items that were stored inside and the dinosaurs that they captured were also summoned out.

Dyne was about to increase the heat, which would burn the books, so he brought everything out. He harnessed his Brimstone energy as he poured it on the Monster Hive. At the same time, Grim released Fire energy, and Dyne gathered the healing powers that Rena and Serge released.

The appearance of the Monster Hive now has two elements. Fire to attack, and light to heal.

On top was a scarlet red color, and white was at the bottom.

“Is that a...?” Jedo was amazed.

“It’s a Pokeball...” Strafe sighed.

“Go!” Dyne threw the Pokeball, which forcibly contained the Scyther inside the Monsters Hive.
