Woosh~

Fragrant scent of bitter coffee and sweet delicious smell of cakes assaulted Luca's nose head on. When the handsome man pass him by, Luca's eyes couldn't help but follow the figure at the distance. 

That contradicting smell was really enticing that Luca can't help but be seduced by it. 

And so, Luca stared at the handsome man walking to the distance. White puff of smoke blurred the man's figure everytime Luca breathe. Giving this scene a nostalgic charm.

Luca stared at the man's direction with hot eyes that could pierce a hole through the man. He gulp and lick his lips as if he was thirsty. And couldn't help but clenched his fists and loosened them again, as if he just thought of something.

He turned his eyes away and looked at the transparent door of the bakery where the man just walked out of, and turned his head to looked the man again.

Specifically, Luca's eyes trail towards the box in the man's hand. Right– the cake. 

Upon realizing this, System 1225 could only gritted it's non existent teeth and complain in its heart. 

It's host really doesn't have any romantic cells in his body! This scene should be the time where the protagonist will get mesmerized by the male lead, and fall in love at first sight!

But this child not only didn't notice the male lead, Luca's eyes only reflected those sweets and delicacies.

System 1225 now regretted it. This host of it, seems more troublesome than it's other host from years before.

Unfortunately, there could only be regret looking at the spilled milk. For the very least, system 1225 was more resolute now than before. 

It wanted this child to realize that he was already bend even before he was conceived by his mother!

'You are born gay! You just haven't fall in love yet! If not, what am I, system 1225, the Finding the Right Guy Before Christmas System, was bind to you!!!' 

System 1225 wanted to scream in Luca's ears, be he dare not. Of course, he didn't have any thoughts of doubting the data given by Santa, himself. And even if Santa made a mistake over this child's sexuality– 'who cares!! I, system 1225 was already bind with him. So, I could only bend him!!'

System 1225 eyes shine brilliantly, as it watched Luca– on top of Luca's head– slowly made a decision and walked towards the bakery and brought back a variety of cakes, and a hot coco drink. 

While holding his newly brought, deserts and hot coco, Luca walked back home whole pondering to himself.

'Why is this system quiet now?' This system disturb him all night yesterday and even at work today, just to do the mission when it comes. But when the mission trully arrived, it only became enthusiastic at first and become silent after. 'Does it planning something?'

Shaking his head, Luca hurried home, afraid that to hear another "Jingle Bells" ring.

December 20.

Beep. Beep. Beep.

Tink! 

Luca always have a constant schedule in check. Though, he said that he will sleep like dead all day in his day off. Luca, who's body is train to follow his body clock will never be able to sleep fully all day even if he wanted to. 

After the slender white hand stopped the beeping alarm clock at the bed side table, the hand retracted once more under the comfy warm blanket. 

The morning is cold, and Luca just wanted to snuggle forever under his blankets. But after the alarm clock rings, although he didn't want to wake up, he can't come back to sleep again. So, Luca just stay the same, laying down in his comfortable bed while browsing randomly through his phone.

However, as he continues to idle while playing with his phone, the lazy Luca felt something looking at him. And that glare were so intense that even Luca, who can ignore the system all day, can't help but pay attention to the sulking gingerbread man.

Sitting on the bed side table, with its crispy cookie hands crossed on its sweet candy decorated chest, system 1225 stared at Luca– who is laying on the bed– unwavering with its dark rounded eyes. 

It's delicious scent pierced Luca's nose, making his silent stomach grumble and grumpy. 

Now that his stomach is protesting, the lazy Luca was forced to get up while yawning constantly to cook breakfast and eat.

While these series of action is being acted by Luca, the system who didn't even sleep– well, it didn't need to– was still thinking about somethings, but still followed Luca at the distance. While it's black rounded candy orbs stayed still following Luca's movements.

Despite the stabbing eyes looking at him, Luca ignore the system as if the delicious looking thing is not floating around his house. 

After Luca finished eating breakfast, the silent gingerbread man finally stop being quiet.

"Jingel Bells" tone rings twice again.

When Luca heard the tone, his face turned black. He still haven't forgotten what happen yesterday night. This system wanted to pair him with a man! It even have an audacity to complement that man's handsomeness! Who cares if he was handsome! The point is he is a man!

But the system, as if it didn't know what's wrong in the first place still keep pushing him to do missions!

That's why when this ring tone sounded, Luca didn't have any good feelings to it. When this tune sounded it only means there's a f*cking gay mission!

And sure enough, the same scroll "puff" in front of Luca.

Sunday Schedule

6:00 - Rise and shine and meet the sun with a smile!

6:30 - Get up and cook breakfast to fill the empty stomach!

7:30 - Let's go run at the park and basked under the warm sun!

9:00 - Home, home and rest!

11:30 get ready for lunch...

Luca read the scroll again, but the writings in it didn't change. Although, it was indeed Luca's schedule– except for that stupid description– looking at the time...

Then Luca glance through the window...

The sky is dim. There is no sun, no sunshine, no warmth. There is even a slight snow outside! 

What the hell!

Luca then stared at the gingerbread man expressionlessly. "Speak."

System 1225 heard Luca, and immediately complied. "This is additional Task. There is no penalty but there is a small reward. If you follow your schedule in time just like you do everyday, then every day you can get a ticket for a free Lucky draw."

As the system said that, a big roulette suddenly appeared out of no where. There's many item written on it that Luca didn't know there uses. 

But a certain item suddenly caught Luca's interest. Then he looked at the system and let out the suspicion in his heart.

"I thought rewards were given by the mission target. What's this now? And this additional Task?"

"Host. You don't have to look at me like that." Said the system. The gingerbread man smile at Luca and assured, "This additional Task is like daily quest in RPGs. You can choose not to do it or do it and receive the reward. It's up to you, host. In fact, this additional Task is just like motivational push for host to do task. Just do you're everyday life and you can receive a reward. It's a win-win for you host. Or you can just ignore this additional task, like you did in your first mission."

"Fine." Luca looked outside the window and can't help but shivers. Still, he gritted his teeth determine to follow his daily routine. "Let's go for a morning jog."
