An hour or two soon passed by as the four of us exited the room, dressed in our individual beautiful outfits. The outfit Mana wore was the same one the headmaster had given to her, the black rockstar-like outfit while Leisha sported her witch outfit which was similar to that of a scholar rather than a witch in all honesty. Flora wore her traditional deer hoodie, the one with the cute brown antlers.

Meanwhile, I wore the same outfit the headmaster given to me; the one with the white and blue color scheme which is decently hard to describe. All I have to say is the outfit, or armor is super light which is to my liking considering that lightness is what I prefer the most.

While walking down towards the living room, a voice greeted us causing us to be a bit surprised, “I see the four of you are ready to go adventuring!”

The origin of the voice was a person on the sofa, it was none other than the golden-haired Kate who had a bruised right eye. Her right eye was decently bruised up with something that looks like a child’s fist which is kind of hilarious and at the same time a bit scary since there was no question on who caused such a bruise.

“Let me guess. Flora, right?” Mana said before Kate stared at Flora for a second, trembling a bit as she shook her head causing a loud laugh to leave Mana’s mouth as she poked the mischievous child’s cheeks, pinching them for a bit as she scolded her in a soft voice, “Flora, you shouldn’t hurt people!”

In an instant, the mischievous deer girl puffed her cheeks as she looked at Mana with a disgruntled look on her eyes, refuting Mana’s scolding, “Bwut! Flowa wanted to sleep with Mwama!” causing Mana to look a bit surprised as she patted the pouting child’s hair, kissing her on the cheeks.

“I see, we will sleep together more frequently. Don’t worry,” Mana said while Flora looked at her with a big puff on her cheeks as the three of us together with the out-of-this-world Leisha sat down on our respective seating on the sofa, staring at the table where a plate filled with delicious golden-brown toast with cheese melting off from the side and ham sat.

Almost instantly, Leisha took a piece of the golden-brown toast, only to have it stolen by Flora who was drooling left and right. Her eyes were pinned at the toast which was expected from none other than the gluttonous sugar-filled child; Leisha was a bit surprised by the sudden move from Flora but decided to let it go as she took another one only to have it stolen again by Flora who seems to be targeting her.

“Flora, bad!” Mana pinched her cheeks, causing Flora to squeak as she looked at Mana with puppy eyes. This child is more mischievous than I thought, it seems like it is the bad route for someone to be on her blacklist, or should I say target list.

“You can have my piece,” I said to Leisha who looked at me a bit surprised but nodded anyway as she continued wandering out of the world. Her face was still a bit blush which could only mean she still hasn’t moved away from last night’s scene.

After taking the toast, Leisha soon munched on it like a squirrel as Flora looked at her toast almost like a sniper looking at its prey, but too bad for her, Mana is quite sensitive with such things and pinched her cheeks once more, causing her to whine once more.

“Flowa isn’t going to steal!”

Mana’s eyes looked at Flora with suspicion as the little deer stared at her with her puppy eyes that made Mana sigh as she responded to her whining, “You aren’t but you might, is that what you perhaps mean?”

Almost like hitting the bullseye, Flora looked at Mana with shock; her face paled as a loud laugh came from Kate who was looking at the entire scene while eating her share of the golden-brown toast. It was quite the scene, especially considering that Flora is sort of a Mana’s girl; she favors Mana more than anyone which makes sense.

Mana has always been loved by many children, the reason for such is because of the feel she has around her when near children. It was some sort of motherly feel that made the children feel more secure and safe with her, to the extent that most orphanages usually invite Mana along with Flora to play with them; of course, there is a reward, but Mana declines them steadfast.

“Anyway, what quest are you three planning on taking today?” Kate inquired while sipping on some ice-cold coffee which most likely came from the café near our residence.

“We do plan on helping Leisha a bit with her potion delivery today, but I don’t have specific details over what kind of help we can provide,” Mana replied while looking at Leisha who was now pink from the top to bottom which made me a bit worried whether she has a fever or something.

Her eyes wandered all around the room; a dreamy aura could be sensed on her as she munched on her toast like a kitty which differed from her original mood which was more of a squirrel eating a nut. It was a bit calm and softer to look at, but at the same time, she looked incredibly adorable when in this dreamy mode of hers.

“Ehem…” Kate coughed out loud, snapping the wandering mind of Leisha back to reality as she looked at us surprised. Her face regained its color as she turned left and right for a second before turning her attention towards us for the second time as if she had finished rebooting.

“Did someone ask something?”

Her response made Kate laugh super loud as she responded to the confused Leisha, “I asked the three of you what plans you had, to which Mana replied that the actual detailed plan depends on you which is why we are asking you what detailed plans the three of you had today…”

Leisha was a bit confused for a second but soon came to comprehend as she replied to the original question, “Well, I don’t exactly have a detailed plan other than searching for the materials for this week’s potion delivery…”

“I see, what kind of potion are you planning on delivering this week?” Kate asked while taking out a tiny towel from her pocket, wiping the crumbs on hers as Leisha answered.

“The Potion of Recovery.”

In response, Kate’s face paled as she backed away for a bit before questioning the confused Leisha, “If it is that potion then the materials must involve the stinky slime right?” before Leisha nodded as Kate shook her head several times, forming an X with her arms as she declared in a rejecting voice.

“No, no, nope! I am not participating in your adventure today! I don’t want to touch that stinky slime ever again… just the thought of approaching near it makes me puke!”

I truly admire your courage to decline your friend that loud, but I would agree with you regardless. The stinky slime is well-known to be the most disgusting creature to have ever existed in this world, though it wasn’t hated in Solis VR since the game had no real functional senses otherwise it would definitely be hated more than anyone in the cosmos.

“You could participate in herb collection if you want,” Mana suggested, turning towards Leisha who seems to be nodding as she bit on her sandwich while Flora stared at her with evil intentions, only to be pinched once more by Mana.

“What kind of herbs though?” Kate questioned before taking a toast from the plate, splitting it in half as she handed the other piece to Flora who was staring at the last toast with a heavy drool floating off from her mouth.

In response, Flora took the split without hesitation, munching on it in the same way as she would with her breadstick as Leisha answered, “Well, the herbs for this potion set are Kristine Grass and Anshi Leaves which can be easily found on the outskirts of the forest…”

“Those two herbs huh… that wouldn’t be an issue at all since the most opponent we would find on that zone are either goblins or wolves considering it is a beginner-level forest and unless a monster horde occurs, there should be no problem with just the two of us,” Kate said while Leisha nodded to her words, even Leisha would be more than enough, to be honest, but efficiency-wise, it would be faster if the two went together.

“I guess the most logical team here would be Mana, Flora and I will go after the Stinky Slime while the two of you handle the other materials, is that fine?” I suggested before the two of them nodded as Flora rose her hand out of the blue after swallowing her entire toast, I was a bit surprised and decided to see what this girl had in mind, “What’s up, Flora?”

“Flowa wants to eat boar as a reward!” she declared before out of the blue, a certain invitation came to mind. It was the invitation to both of Flora’s friends from school which should be a sleepover if I remember correctly unless the contents changed.

“We can eat boar after your friends arrive since this quest shouldn’t take long to finish, is that fine with you?” Mana looked at Flora and said before the little girl nodded as the five of us soon came to an agreement over the split of the rewards.

The rewards will be handled as such, Mana and I will receive about a single gold coin each though we did try to negotiate it to about half a silver coin but Leisha was tough as steel when it comes to negotiation and demolished our offer in an instant because she prefers doing it fairly; Flora will take boar meat after while Kate will receive half a gold coin though since she is only taking part in the easier part of the quest.

Kate didn’t mind since half a gold coin is still more than the average earnings of an adventurer. And so, our breakfast soon ended as the five of us went towards the Guild, registered ourselves as a party, and made our way towards the Western Exit where the five of us started walking our way towards the nearby outskirts of the forest which was thirty minutes away from here.

“We have arrived…”
