After Erika's announcement, she along with Medusa walked off the ship, with them both looking back at the Phoenix. Even despite the damage she had sustained both from combat and landing, the shape of her hull was in good condition which was good.

"Rather majestic lines." Erika said as she held her hands up making a photo frame with her fingers. As using some Illusion magic she could see what the DIS Phoenix would look like when she is fully resorted. Though a small ting of pain to know that Mistress had died in it once and that at some point again... but she was glad that the Dungeon could live up to her names sake and from the ashes of this planet she will return to the stars.

"Hmm." Medusa hummed to the side, not really knowing what made the Dungeon seemed so run down, though what looked like battle damage was clear. But it wasn't her place to say. "Lady Erika, what are we doing till our Misstressss awakensss."

"Well, you know those planes that have been bringing supplies and manpower into that camp of theirs?" She asked and after hearing a affirmative noise she continued, "Well, we along with the next group of Enlistees are going to destroy the the next aircraft that come in, and hopefully make them reconsider bringing more in... since otherwise they will have to guess if we are still out there, let alone if we return like Mistress."

'Return?' Medusa thought, but thinking about the wording. Jean had always came back after dying from what she had seen. But before the she could ask that question Erika answered, "Mistress, you and I will return from the dead... but to be honest to you my scaled friend? For a first floor Guardian you are very strong compared to what we're use too."

"But that wass bassed on my fight with Mistressss'ss people, right?" Medusa's forked tongue licked the air, as she followed Erika's form. She couldn't help herself from looking at her, she clearly was wearing a inspired clothing similar to Mistress though it was in polar opposite in color pallet as her uniform is a snow white compared to Jean's oil black, with the other color being her fingerless gloves, boots and the side cap were black though a lighter shade, if you could call taupe lighter.

"Yes, as even by our standards... well. These Enlistees and Crewmen by compared to what we are used too." She answered but before the scaled woman could ask Erika continued, "When Mistress and I first met the only thing we had what amounted to children with stone knives. But we worked with them and fought enemies greater then what we had... but see these monsters?" She asked and lifted her hands and gestured at the Enlistees.

With a nod Erika continued, as she explained the first year and told Medusa about the Goblins and Skeletons they had started with in their past Dungeon. She nodded along as they followed the next two Sections, though as both walked along side them the smell of... female love was around them like a plague. Erika understood why they had that smell, if you knew you were going to die she herself would be hard pressed to not.

"Instructor Erika what are you doing with us?" One of the nameless Enlistees asked, her voice was loud enough for the two Sections to look over as well.

"Medusa and I have our own targets and we are needed." She replied and a glare the silenced any new questions. The woman looked forward with a grim determination as their sidearms held in death grips. They knew they'd never return, but they already knew that. Section eleven and twelve before them had suffered the same fate and they were going to join them.

As they walked a song... no a melody it was defiantly religious was heard from the enemy.

"Wonder what those blue freaks are singing?" A random voice asked a comrade.

" "Oh to be the fallen, we see you through, may the Khala ensure your Ancestors guide you." " Erika muttered under her breath but no one hear, "I think they are praying for the dead," With a smile forming the next words were filled with a death like coldness, "maybe some Necromancy would shake them, if the dead can't be safe what about the living." The fingertips on her hands swirled with a black-like fire though within it small souls appeared.

With a cheery smile Erika flicked the black flamed hand towards the camp, looking up in the sky and a second spell formed within her off hand as her right was still covered is the residue of her previous spell, bringing the new spell to her eyes which changed into a silvery color with the iris becoming a deep shade of gold with her sight increasing ten fold and it was then she spotted the planes, but there are more then the four or five that normally came before, she could see seven.

"Expect more enemies." She told Medusa, who nodded. "Alright be ready ladies." She said to the Enlistees, with several giving half-hearted smiles, curiously several who had what looked like makeshift hand grenades. Erika looked at them for a few seconds longer and briefly looked at the stats of the 'grenades'.

While they have a chance to kill the thrower at five percent but their was a seventeen percent for the explosion to be bigger. Though the fact it said the maker of this was made by someone in Section one.

Turning her attention back to the incoming planes, she had to guess at them being roughly two or three kilometers away approaching maybe at two-hundred maybe three hundred kilometers per hour... closing her eyes and with a frim shake the spell wore off and the eyes returned to normal.

With a simple tap on Medusa's shoulder the pair moved away from the and with a quick teleport they appeared on the other side of the carved out grassland and they lowered their stance and continued forward, the whole while Erika counted the planes as they landed.

"Ssso, what isss the plan?" Medusa asked her tongue licking the air.

Erika nodded and explained.

(POV Change)

Within the unnamed Enlistees they too formed a rather smart plan for being very bottom of the ranked monsters, well they are above the none combat types but with the assistance of the First Section some of them were armed with some experimental weaponry, both clutched the weapons which was a simple tin-can turned fragmentation grenade. They planed to use the grenades to disrupt the enemies defenses as they use what cover was and try their best.

They only had two grenades, but anything helps since they had prewarned of their short lives, and to that they smiled held their heads high and readied themselves for their first and most likely only battle with the enemies of the Empire. Though the knowledge Instructor Erika and Guardian Medusa were joining them in battle but some of their nerves to ease.

They could already hear fighting, with grins, sidearms drawn and those to hand grenades ready to throw they rushed forward.

..

(A few moments ago)

Two sets of bodies had been piled on of the enemy they had been fighting constantly and the other was the bodies of their own, though where one was piled haphazardly, and the other clean and organized. But both had nearly forty men and woman from Donlindagrad were preparing a funeral pyre.

Standing within the neat rows, even despite her own injuries Selendis stood best she could with Second-in-Command holding her right arm to insure she could stand. Selendis could still feel the phantom pain on her tightly wrapped leg and large white wrapping around her head. She knew this was little comfort for those that had died... she still couldn't believe that two of her fellow Templars had been killed, one by Jean and another who had been overwhelmed and had his throat slit.

But their were the haft dozen figures of the Church who had only been killed by Jean, along with a dozen members of Polos's Home Guard with only two actually dying to her hands but the rest died to those soldiers she has been sending at them.

An almost unseen black fire flew and spit into two before entering the two piles of bodies, those that saw it thought it was their tired minds playing tricks. But it became evident that it wasn't just a trick of the mind as the Priest raised his hand high at the crescendo of the pray a body twitched.

Weapons raised and blades activated, "Did that body move?" "It sure did." "Back it up! Back up!" "Take aim!" Several voice asked and orders given.

"Templars to the front!" Selendis ordered as she roughly pushed her Second forward as Polos took over holding her up, she could sense his cheekiness, "Don't even say it." She told him which got her a small laugh from the man as he hefted his sidearm.

"Their moving!" A shout called out and they saw both piles of were twitching.

"Groan... Groan!!!" The unliving sound caused a few to take a step back, and even the Templars changed from a attack stance to defensive, then a hand shot up from human pile and the groaning got louder, and as if a starting gun was fired the pile became alive and rushed towards everyone around them.

Some of the Home Guard broke at the sight, these people they had killed were back but this time with horrendous wounds that saw them dead, what caught many was the sunken eyes that had nothing of what they had before when being placed on the pyre. Cries of terror and the clattering of weapons filled the air for the briefest of time before the small horde of undead reached the Templars and the Home Guard that stayed, just to find that these things were far stronger then they were when alive.

"FIRE!" Polos ordered and shot one of the undead in the chest several times but found that it only staggered it until he shot it in the head, "AIM FOR THE HEAD!"

Those Guardsmen caught by the horde founds themselves being ripped apart as anything flesh that wasn't covered by armor entered the jaws of the ravenous undead. The Nuns and Priests too found themselves becoming nothing more then food for the undead, but the Templars managed to hold their own slaughtering those that went for them rather then the easy meals of the Home Guard and non-combat Religious with those with combat training killing alongside Naon.

Within the din of the fighting Polos heard something hit the ground near him but among several his men and two Templars, and saw a small light fuse, eyes widening he pushed Selendis down using his own body to cover her as he shouted, "GRENADE!"

Not two seconds later it exploded sending those caught by it into the air, some died instantly but for the Templars their shields saved them from most of the damage they could have received but were still sent flying and into the more then eager hands of the undead who tore into them.

Just before he could get up he got tackled sidearm still in hand he aimed it at the undead but froze as it was one hos own that had been kill by Jean, firing once and killing the poor soul in the instant he pushed it off and found that the pyre for their own was alive and attacking everyone. Another grenade went off but this time a Templar jumped on it saving those around him in exchange losing his own live.

A new cry filled the air though no one outside of a few understood it, "For the Empire! For the Empress!"
