" My condolence... we didn't know that..." Flux said in a very apologetic voice.

" Doesn't matter, I saw many close friends dying before anyways. Now, you two going to start with your story? Especially why you two are breaking that altar. Might as well tell me what did I broke." I said towards them while drinking the stew I made. I know this is made using the crafting system but damn this is good. But I think if I had time and materials... I would like to cook it myself...

" Those people that you fought underground back there are the fanatics of Kur' Edzard. They self proclaim that they serve a god of the same name. We don't know who said god is, nor his power, but all we know that the activities of this cult cannot be allowed to continue. They keep on conducting sacrificial rituals in order to summon their "god" in order to help them conquer the world. I heard that a few decades ago, they used a ritual to summon the warrior of god, but the exact details are not clear as the king does not want anyone to know of that ritual. Rumors said that the warrior of god killed all of the cultists and then went on to conquer the world for itself. We don't know if it is real or not. All we know is that we do not want a similar thing to happen again. We aren't sure of the rumors, but if it turns out to be true, humanity might face a serious crisis. A crisis that we brought among ourselves. Thus it is better if we directly stop it before it happens." Frux said. Ah so basically those guys are some sort of wannabe that want to summon gods to conquer the world. But it seems their previous attempt failed. So why are they trying again.... well doesn't matter. They must be idiots if they are trying something that failed once already.

" And how is that related to you two. You two don't look the pious type that would pray to gods. I know you are destroying this altar, but for who?" I asked. 

" We work for the pantheon of Astrea. It is quite a small religion, to be honest. Most of the people within this kingdom worship the God of Terra. Oh, and the holy text that I mentioned earlier, is the holy text for the Terra Pantheon. The Astrea holy text is already lost to time many years ago. I don't know the reason but it seems to be a religious crusade that caused it." Frux said. Hrmmm. Arent Terra one of the names for Earth? So these humans are from Earth too?

" Say, do you know a place called Earth?" I asked them curiously.

" The holy text once said about a place called Earth, it is said that once a person dies, their soul returns back to Earth and enjoy Utopia. I am not sure where this Earth is though since it is only a place where the dead goes." this time it is Flux who answered. Earth as a place to return... does that mean that the humans in this world are also from Earth? That makes sense for the naming of the towns and cities. They sounded pretty European to me. I even raided a mining town called Cramlington. I remember I read that name before in news. What is the town we were in earlier... I remember it called Rye... which means it might be English... but then I also remember that one of the peddlers said there is a town on top of the plateau called Lyon... that is in France... argh I don't know... but I think I can safely assume they are from Europe. If so... from when did they came here... and for how long. They look as if they are from the renaissance era. It could be that they were transported when it is the renaissance era back on earth, or they reached here earlier and developed into the renaissance era later...

" What's the matter Sel, is something wrong?" Flux asked. Oops, I probably was too deep in myself for too long.

" Nothing continue please," I said while telling them to continue on their topic.

" Me and Frux here are two of the remaining loyal devotees to the church of Astrea. Well, I'm sure it will end in our generation. The Terra Church is too dominant in this continent. The Astrea church members are mostly old guys that probably won't even count as members now. So in a sense, it can be said as us two left. We all thought that we would be guarding the church until we die, but then one of the priests received divination from Goddess Astrea, and that is how we two start actively hunting for the Kur' Edzard members." Flux said.

" And that is how you two somehow met me in Rye and the big mess happened," I said, wanting to confirm some stuff.

" Yes, that is basically it. Of course, a lot of stuff is omitted as it would be quite boring, but that is the most important part." Frux said. To be honest, your story is good, but there is still lacking. If you are a devotee, how come one is trained in assassination and infiltration, while the other well... Flux looks normal so far.

" We both were also soldiers in Fort Neuschwanstein, so of course we had training before, but I heard the fort got wiped out after we received the oracle. Everyone within the fort vanished, but there is blood everywhere. I wonder how Lord Casper is doing. Hope that old fart died there," Frux said. Wait... Casper... isn't that the guy in the fort that I first raided? Well, if it is then I guess I better make things clear. Also... a german name now... what's the next one Spanish or Portuguese... 

" I raided that fort. Casper is dead already. I am the one who killed them all." I said directly in Frux and Flux's face. Now would they want to take revenge for him? I hope not, I wouldn't want to dirty my own hideout, even if this is a spare one.

" Phew, good riddance. Thanks for killing him Sel. He is always a pain in the arse for both of us. Casper is a fanatical believer in Terra. When he knew that we two believes in Astrea, he nearly almost want to chop us on the spot. Good thing that he restrained himself that we both aren't dead yet," Frux said with Flux nodding along. Well, I guess that is good, less conflict.

" But since you managed to kill Casper, mind if we both train with you in combat? I can feel that blade of yours is quite a good blade and that gun is definitely a masterwork. Plus if we could defeat a dragon, we could be invincible in this continent!" Flux said happily. Wait, when the hell did I said I am going to be your instructor...

" I haven't even decided whether or not I want you two to live in here permanently and you already decided to make me your instructor... Just how carefree would you be... Plus aren't you going to hunt those cultists? Do you even have time to train with me?" I stated which made them laugh. What... why are you two laughing...

" Ahahaha! You even prepared rooms for us... even asked us how do we want to decorate it and you even used your flesh to gave us a meal. If this isn't a sign that you trust us, I don't know what would count as one. Plus, didn't you just broke their altar? I doubt it will be back to action soon. So it is better if we could train ourselves to be fit to even be able to fight in a condition like just now. If it were us, we probably would just run away." Frux said. No no no, you are mistaking something... even I can't fight in that condition you know... that is why I ran away in the first place. I don't think I could convince these guys... and why the heck do they think I will accept them...

" Whatever..." I said dejectedly. 

" Now that we told about our stories, how about your Sel," Flux said. Should I trust them? I think I can right? I am not sure if this Astrea god will support demi-humans, but at the very least I can see that these two don't really care about it unless they are endangered by them.

" First things first. My name is not Sel, my name is Belgrynd. Sel is the name I use when I go into towns. Even though the name Belgrynd is not used anywhere and I have neither exposed it, for personal reasons I'm going to keep using the name Sel outside. Do not call me Belgrynd or anything similar when we are outside understood?" I said and pressured them. I won't back down on this. Even though the feeling of being hunted is gone, I still can't let my guard down.

" The moment I reach here or should I say, the moment I know my bearings, I was already inside a human town. My memories are a bit jumbled up and I don't really know a lot of common knowledge in this world." I said. Stating the term this world already spark some interest from them.

" What do you mean by this world? Did you went to another world before?" Flux asked.

" I don't really know. My memories are a bit jumbled up. But anyway, before I could really grasp the situation, you humans start throwing rocks at me and yelling to kill me because I am a demi-human. And right after a while, a knight came over claiming he will handle everything, and then proceed to cut my legs off in order to prevent me from escaping." there we go, another stare. But I decided to ignore them and continue.

After 30 minutes of explaining my past year's experience, and also answering a lot of their questions, I finally ended my story.

" You sure have endured a lot..." Flux said.

" No wonder the King showed up in a strange armor in this year's ceremony. Wait... arent the princess wearing the exact same armor?" Frux said while suddenly realizing something.

" It sure looks similar, but the quality of the princess's armor is quite crude compared to the king's armor, and it's even worst compared to what Bell have here." Flux said, comparing the three sets of dragon scale armor that he had seen before.

" If the demi-humans noticed that it is dragon scale armor... they might be worried that a dragon has been slain by humans. This would cause an uproar by them. They always treat dragons as divine beings... If... once they saw this dragon armor... the likelihood of them going to invade us would be quite high... A war will not be avoided and many people will die... especially when the humans and the demi-humans loath each other... the opposition would be even greater. But what are their plans... although we don't know how the demihumans technological level is. I don't think it will be worse than us humans." Frux said, clearly worried about his own race.

" I don't really care. I heard that they are sending a second fleet a few months later. What should we do, we can't really leave here when these cultists are being annoying. For me, I would say let's just ignore the war thing and focus on the cultist first. I don't want some Cthulu beings summoned into this world." I said. To be honest, I don't think they will declare war and arrive immediately. According to Kent, normal demi-humans cannot live within a manaless situation. So they cant really just invade this continent directly. Though they could use the same strategy and just bombard the humans from the sea. I don't think the same strategy will work twice.

Hrmm... It seems we have company...

" Didn't you two said you want combat training from me," I said towards Flux and Frux. Meanwhile, at the same time, I began crafting two simple Iron and Steel gunblade. Both using iron bullets as ammo.

" Yeah, why?" Flux answered with a flustered face.

" Cause we got company. Somehow they managed to follow you two to this place. Though they are merely finding the entrance to this place." I said towards them. Should I also make a bag for them to hold the bullets? Yeah, I should. They don't have an inventory like mine.

" We have two choices. One is to wait here until they either find the entrance or they leave, which I think they won't. And second is to head out and slaughter them all." I said while bringing out the two weaker versions of the gunblade.

" What do you mean slaughter them all? How many people are there even outside?" Frux said in a panicked tone. Don't worry, everything is fine. Oh, I better make a better sword for the both of them. Frux only have a dagger while Flux have nothing. A sword would really help them in this fight.

"It's ok. Even if you two don't fight, I could still kill them all. It is just if you two want to follow me to fight or just stay here and wait until I am done with them." I replied while placing 20 iron bullet magazines into two bags, each with 10. I don't think they would rely on the gun too much so it should be fine. While placing the two new swords on the table. Armor-wise, I'm just going to give them iron chainmail. I don't have any steel in this hideout so I cant provide them any better stuff, but it should be fine.

" We will join the fight. We already decided that we will side with you so we will stay until the end." Flux said with Frux adding, " We are probably being wanted already for siding with you, so we are going to fight them sooner or later, hence it would be great if we could fight together and train to fight as a team," Wait who is teaming with you. You two fight as a team while I fight alone. Two teams, not one.

" Don't hold me down. Anyways these are your armor and weapons. I don't have better materials so you gotta have to make do with iron equipment. This would be fine unless they also have the morning stars. Then only try to evade. And these two are gunblades, Frux already saw me using it before but I will demonstrate it to both of you. To restock the ammo, pull down the empty magazine like this and put a new one in. Then you are ready to shoot." I said as I demonstrate it to them, I guess I am now an instructor huh. Whatever...

" Since you two never used gunblades before, I suggest you two don't try to rely on the gun too much. If there is too many enemies, just shoot directly, you are bound to hit someone anyways... well just don't shoot at each other or yourself." I explained. These two are really getting into the situation fast. They are already equipping the iron chainmail and ready for combat.

" Now, let these fools that dare lurk near my lair their punishment!" I said and the two responded with a war cry... well except no one will hear that other than us three. This place is deep underground and the hatch door is soundproof after all~

Hello its me again, it seems the trio has already formed an alliance huh. It is nice that Bell is getting human friends. But why is it that they keep coming to feed Bell... Dont they feel bored of it already?

Anyways new chapter will be slightly delayed tomorrow as I had to go to the doctor for checkup for my leg's skin problem.

If things don't go wrong, or my planning didn't go wrong, we should be able to merge the timeline within chapter 60. But no promise~ Since I always write on the go and add things on the go~
