"So, after all the training there are some things I have to fill you guys in on," Zeel said to the group in a slightly reluctant manner. He would be lying if he said he didn't enjoy giving them the beat down over these couple of weeks.

Life had always been about survival for him since a very young age. It was only now that he felt a faint enjoyment from violence against others. Maybe Zeel's faculties were not all the way there, but this was at the very least progress.

"Another crazy experiment?" Alice asked, a bit tiredly with everyone else saying 'I'm out' in the background.

"No. Today we are going to recover Elizabeth's legacy chest. Those things hold great significance, though I cannot say exactly why yet, I'd be best if we have them on hand," Zeel said further emphasizing the importance of the Loric chests.

"When Alice and I rescued Hannu, we snagged the amulets the Mogadorians had at the time. Meaning we have amulets from three members of the Garde, Ella didn't get any. Marina has hers, John as well, so Elizabeth is the next step," Zeel mentioned, trying as much to not sound as if he was blaming Elizabeth for her carelessness.

"Agreed. If they open my chest, they can use it to track our movements or worst depending on what's inside. This is Lorien's last-minute desperation plan after all. For all we know there could be a bomb inside to end everything on Earth," Elizabeth said after great contemplation, genuinely afraid of what could be in the Loric chests.

People tend to do crazy stuff when they're on the verge of death, she couldn't imagine what Loriens would do when it was the death of not just themselves, but their entire species.

"Okay! Everyone should gather up and get their very own nanites-ring. It is made from Microglass and holds a limited deposit of nanites. It functions with specific gestures. If you push your hands out, the nanites will interpret it as a combat gesture, it then covers your body in a combat suit," Zeel mentioned, pulling up a hologram that demonstrated the exact gesture required to use the nanite-rings.

Of course, Elizabeth, Alice, and himself did not require any, since all essential technology on their bodies could be broken down and integrated into their Mbeamers.

After the introduction to their new gear, Zeel then briefed the group on their new mission target "All the mercenaries we have sent to this location have failed to report back. Now, this morning satellites flagged a large-scale movement near this base.

The Mogadorians are probably trying to relocate after getting information on the battle of Paradise Hills. So we have to move quickly and stealthily, keep in mind this can also be a trap so keep your trump cards for the last minute,"

Truthfully, Zeel was hoping someone would die so the others could work that much harder to get stronger. The truth of the matter was; everyone likes a good martyr. Alice was like a moral compass for Zeel, so he always found himself considering how she would feel about many of his actions before he would carry them out.

However, regardless of his considerations – old habits die hard, and Zeel could only compromise on certain things. Alice used to tell Zeel that she couldn't beat a black dog into a white one but she could keep one chained up.

Zeel did not take offense to Alice's snide remarks, since dogs in his Universe were exotic, 5th Dimensional beings of luxury. Even Alice's clone pods were not worth as much as 5th Dimensional talking dogs.

After everyone was geared up, the weaponry seen varied from Lorien blasters, antigravity boots, daggers, swords, and, for Ella, a shield. Zeel waved his hand as components from all over the room were drawn towards the group and with another wave, the components began reshaping and twisting into four mini rocket-like ships with one seat inside each.

This design was a birth child of all the members of the group combined. It was designed for infiltration missions and was built using Zeel's TechnoMancy.

Zeel's TechnoMancy had gotten to the point that as long as he could imagine and understand something, he could build it.

Zeel had trouble with inventions in any Universe that were not his own. Not only was universal calibration a hassle, but the ideas just could not meld into his mind.

Zeel subconsciously refused to understand the knowledge of the 21st century. It was akin to being given luxury dishes for your entire life, then one day you are forced to eat shit to survive.

Zeel held an innate disgust to comprehend technology beyond his standards, and hence just built whatever the group thought was most suitable for the mission.

This mini rocket was dubbed 'Infiltrator' because it was made to launch the group at high speeds directly into heavily fortified Mogadorian bases.

The infiltrator, through quantum flux field manipulations, can easily penetrate through almost all types of shielding – except those made up of pure energy.

Though no energy in the Universe could possibly be entirely pure, hence the Infiltrator could penetrate all shielding below the 25th century.

Hopping in their respective Infiltrators, the group engaged the stealth function. To ensure that the infiltrators would be useless if anyone else were to stumble upon them, Zeel made the key the anti-gravity boots that would have to be attached to the inside of the infiltrators to use.

If an infiltrator were to be abandoned without a power source for more than an hour, it was set to automatically explode. There were protocols in place for every possible scenario.

After everyone was boarded the infiltrators. The devices suddenly came alive as complex equations were visible on the panel inside.

The more skilled at antigravity boots manipulation equations, the more skilled the Garde would be with the infiltrators. Within the blink of an eye, the infiltrators had disappeared from The New York base shooting off into the distance.

*psh* *Psh* *psh* *psh*

Zeel could feel the infiltrators penetrate a jelly-like substance, possibly a shielding made out of Bo Einstein condensate type matter. With a boom, the group touched down, all at different locations along the mountainside.

The infiltrators started digging in a drill-like manner. Wouldn't be much of an infiltrator if it could not infiltrate under all circumstances right?

Zeel used his TechnoMancy to accelerate the process on his part. He could hear the alarms blaring and numerous footsteps coming from deep within the mountain.

One footstep turned to eight, and eight to twenty until finally, the infiltrator had breached the walls of the hidden underground corridors.

Exiting the infiltrator, Zeel didn't even touch the ground before manipulating the antigravity boots to stick to the walls. He began sprinting on the walls, unsheathing his sword along the way and slashing not only at the Mogadorians but also nearby support beams.

Using his TechnoMancy, Zeel used small nanobots delivered through contact with his sword, to embed the bombs deep into the support beams. This invention of the group did not have a wide range of applications but was perfectly suited for this mission nonetheless.

In the distance, Zeel could hear screaming and wails, likely another member of the group slaughtering Mogadorians.

All of a sudden, a storm appeared over the entire base as lightning began penetrating through the walls into the corridors, no doubt courtesy of Elizabeth and her Struma legacy.

Zeel hacked into the base security system, shutting it off but not before he saw Ella using her ability to change into a three-year-old, crawling through the vents toward the main area without having to fight anyone – 'really smart girl' was Zeel's on-site evaluation.

After all, it was best to work smart and not hard.

Marina, on the other hand, was especially effective as she used her precognition ability, which allowed her to see a couple of seconds in the future, to slaughter Mogadorians before they could even turn the nearby corners.

During the Hell Weeks of training, she used the 3D printers to make a pair of daggers that would curve with erratic movements. The daggers were highly magnetized so it would always come back to her hand within a certain distance.

Combining this with her ability of precognition, she could kill Mogadorians from almost anywhere, always knowing where they would be and killing them before they could react.

On John's end, all that could be seen were blurs, as he had mastered the use of blink. Now he could blink tricking multiple targets at once instead of just one target.

However, the MVP of the battle was no doubt, Alice. The ground started tearing open, sinking half the base into its depths, Zeel was wondering if anyone had an earthquake legacy when Alice showed up beside him with a smug smile on her face.

She had granted a new meaning to the phrase 'Bring a mountain down on them'.

Zeel admired the ever-increasing power of her telekinesis ability; little did he know that Alice had not increased her power in a while, she simply mastered efficient ways to cause the most destruction.

They were truly a couple made in the depths of hell.
