Gabriella was exhausted and pushed everyone away except for Zeel.

She snuggled in Zeel's arms and heaved a sigh of relief, it was an honor for her to be useful to the man who saved her life.

Zeel stirred awake "Do you get us out?"

"Yeah, but I could not bring Xak's and Ruri's bodies," Gabriella muttered.

"Doesn't matter," Dena said after she gained clarity "The Grimm Reapers were killed off by the Homo-Superiors a couple of years ago. Resurrection is not possible without serious connections,"

In a couple of minutes, everyone was awake but severely weakened.

Tak wandered to the edge of the cliff and his face fell immediately.

"Is it a coincidence that our exit point was at the edge of this dimension? Specifically, an area that holds an Abyssal Domain?" Tak asked smiling bitterly.

He had never been so thoroughly pitted in his entire life.

Ciara just walked over to Zeel and handed him a strange bronze metalloid, this was their final trump card should all else fail.

It was their 'Fuck The World' plan to go to death with smiles on their faces.

Zeel turned to Aurolana "Think I have a chance at heaven?"

"You have a part of my soul so you go where I go," Aurolana answered linking her hand with Zeel's.

She was well aware that their chances of getting out of this were minimal at best.

Several beams shot out of the ground, quickly siphoning the team's remaining energy.

This was a thoroughly set-out trap. Turning Xak and replacing him, using a monster tamer to attack their camp, infecting Ruri's mind to access her Blood Manipulation.

Forcing Zeel to access the Mirrorverse.

Leaving a small gap in the Mirror-Dimension for the tired Gabriella to exit under pressure, and still being able to set up these energy Syphons without Zeel's notice.

The scheme was so exquisite that Zeel automatically knew who did it.

Only one Family could have this kind of calculation ability.

Zeel knew that there were several variations of the same race but did not care about the remaining Homo-Superiors.

Zeel knelt feeling his energy being taken away.

He still mustered the strength to ask "I wonder since when has the Leyward's cowardly house been in business with the useless Asheborns?"

There was silence for a couple of minutes until several figures slowly appeared from behind a group of rocks.

"To think that the Perfect Child Zeel Crawford would be at my mercy," Len Leyward said braggingly.

Zeel did not grace Len with a reply. He was confused about the involvement of the Leyward and Asheborns Houses.

They were two seats on the council out of the thirteen.

Both their houses did not have enough connections to pull this training camp off, so they were working for someone.

"I am sorry but you have to die. Because only one person can survive the training and you are my greatest obstacle," Len answered "Don't tell me about being allies since we are Homo-Superiors. That unity lost its meaning when you were born,"

"Any last words?" Len asked Zeel who was now laying on his stomach.

"Can you get beyond 500 kilometers in one Tera-Second?" Zeel asked.

"What?"

Zeel did not answer but simply sent the last of his energy into the metalloid in his hand and showed it to everyone around.

Len was shocked because he never foresaw such a possibility in the myriad version of these events.

Luckily, Zeel had one person on his team that could not possibly be calculated - Ciara.

Everyone sucked a breath and knew that death was guaranteed. Before they had a small chance of survival, now death was guaranteed.

Zeel was obviously a madman, but which fool would give him Collapsium.

Tak, Dena, and Aurolana glanced at Ciara knowing the answer. Ciara simply blushed since she also understood that collapsium would kill them all.

*Twrp*

Zeel did not get to enjoy Len's cowardly face, the next moment Len and his teammates were over the edge of the abyss.

Gabriella stood at the edge with the collapsium in her hands.

She had warped Len's team over the edge and then warped the collapsium into her hands. It was a risky move since she had accessed her life force to complete the maneuver.

Unlike all the other races, Humans could always find a way to beat the odds if they tried hard enough.

"I love you. I just want to be a hero for you like you were for me. Thanks for telling me that self-preservation was not a sin, but in the end, we are all guilty of something," Gabriella said tilting her body back and falling into the abyss below.

She only hoped that she could sink into the abyss domain before the collapsium exploded.

That way Zeel would have a higher chance to live. However, Zeel and everyone else's energies were completely gone.

They could not even catch a bird to eat if it fell onto their laps.

Zeel replayed Gabriella's tear-stained face in his head over and over again and realized that he did not want to see that expression again.

So he turned to Aurolana and gave a simple command "Activate!"

Aurolana's wings unfurled themselves, the cyber-lines on her wings pulsing for a moment before Aurolana disappeared entirely.

Cyber-lines housed emergency energy for life-saving maneuvers and techniques. Aurolana was probably just beyond the blast radius by now.

Zeel glanced at Ciara but said nothing.

There was nothing to be said to the clown who could save her own life at any moment.

Ciara opened her mouth ready to speak with pain and hesitation on her face.

"Zeel, I –"

*BBBBBBBBBOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM*

*BBBBBBBBBOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM*

*BBBBBBBBBOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM*

*BBBBBBBBBOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM*

A massive explosion erupted from the abyss and consumed Zeel, Tak, Dena, and Ciara.

Zeel watched as Tak and Dena's were broken down, even Telkiens could not cheat a collapsium explosion.

Zeel did not get to see Ciara's end since his body dissolved into particulates soon after Tak and Dena.

Zeel, Dena, and Tak had passed away… or at least that was how everything was supposed to end.

**

Five Hours Later

Aurolana came back a couple of minutes after the explosion.

Zeel teleported her a couple of hundred kilometers away, just outside the blast radius but she was still hit hard by the shockwaves.

Aurolana had to fly back using only her wings and no energy whatsoever.

She was on the brink of exhaustion but knowing Zeel was alive gave her all the motivation she needed.

How did she know? Well, she did not receive any backlash from a soulmate dying.

When one spouse dies, the other will not be far behind.

If the spouse is really strong, they can delay it for a couple of years but each year the pain of the loss would increase.

Most people go crazy during the third year of losing their soulmates.

The moment Aurolana landed she turned her head in a certain direction.

There she saw the burnt body of Zeel, and by all indications, he could be considered dead; however, there was a white flame lingering on his body.

And slowly his body began to restore itself.

Aurolana looked around cautiously, she was sure that everyone else had died but there was no way that Ciara had died.

Aurolana stood a distance away until Zeel's body healed entirely.

Zeel looked around confused at the current situation, he was certain that he had died earlier.

The white flames on his body had already receded. Zeel stood up, the nanites covering his body in clothing.

"There is a village about six hundred kilometers that way," Zeel said staring at Aurolana with a faint smile.

The knowing smile he gave her made Aurolana smile back, but her smile froze the moment Zeel held the feather that floated by his shoulder.

Sadly, Zeel's knowing smile did not last long and instead became one of confusion soon after.

Aurolana sighed in relief seeing this demonstration.

"Let's head to the village then," Aurolana said trying to steer the conversation in her own favor.

"Yeah, we should head there," Zeel pondered aloud trying to cling to the idea he had just developed, but it still faded away nonetheless.
