"Are you alright with all this?" Quan Yu asked Rin Er.

Rin Er stood over her dead brother's body, looking down on him

"Ye..yeah. He stopped being my brother the moment he decided to kill all of you and force me to be his pawn when he becomes the next sectmaster of the Phoenix Sect." she said still holding her head after mind bonding with her new corpse puppet. 

She had kept all the other Phoenix Sect bodies in her storage ring, as Quan Yu intended to have her deal with the Phoenix Sect if necessary. 

"What about me? Don't I get a corpse puppet?" Rhuu Yen asked

"Well, do you want the other brother? One of the elders? Or was there anyone you have in mind?" Quan Yu asked

"Er... no. I don't want any of the Phoenix Sect bodies. But give me some in the future, ok?" she asked

"Sure. Anyway, I would have you watch for now, and stand guard as Rin Er and I will be busy reanimating another corpse" he answered, kissing her on the forehead. 

They were heading for the Blood Sect, one of the demon sects that they targeted next, but after gathering so many corpse puppets, Quan Yu decided to spend some time mastering the corpse art. 

He decided to reanimate another corpse to strengthen his position as he prepared to attack another sect. He thought that they had been lucky so far, and to be honest with himself, both times against the Carnal Anarchy Sect, and the Corpse Sect, they were woefully unprepared. 

He would reanimate another of the bodies among the corpses in the Corpse Sect leader's ring, and at the same time, he would teach Rhuu Yen and Rin Er the art of reanimating a corpse puppet.  

He took out all 3 females in his ring, and left the Ice Queen standing next to them to see if he could reanimate two corpses at the same time. 

All 3 were dressed in different dresses and two of them had a storage rings on their hands, indicating that they were important and possibly powerful people before. 

Quan Yu had assumed that they were the Corpse Sect Master's pleasure puppets, but when he looked again, they each had an intimidating look to them, even when dead. 

He would be able to find out who they were once he reanimated them and entered their minds. 

The first was a woman dressed in a purple dress. She was remarkably pale, and all her hair was white, including her eyelashes and eyebrows. However, she wasn't old, rather her complexion and her features made him believe that she was no older than 25. 

The second one was dressed only in rags which barely covered her modesty, and didn't have a storage ring. 

The third one was dressed in an all black dress. She looked luscious and had a demonic charm to her and looked very beautiful. 

He taught Rin Er the method, then started demonstrating on the first woman

Rin Er followed, doing the same on her dead eldest brother.

Both of them crouched holding their head in pain before the pain eased and they stood up again rubbing their temples.

Quan Yu looked up and the woman in purple sat up and opened her eyes.

Xue Fang also opened his eyes and stood up, but Rin Er kept her eyes closed as she controlled her brother's body.

Quan Yu looked over at the Ice Queen Yin Yin, but she stood still like a statue. Apparently he could only control one body at a time.

He left Yin Yin standing like a statue and dove into the memories of the lady in purple.

As he entered her memories, he was shocked to learn she was the disaster of 300 years ago, Lin Shan who was also called the Poison Lady. She had single handedly destroyed a nation and he had read about her in the history books in the Imperial Library! Eventually, the predecessors of the 12 Righteous Swords hunted her down and killed her. Even so, 7 of the swords had sacrificed themselves doing so. The Corpse Sectmaster had discovered her body 30 years ago and had kept her as his trump card.

Quan Yu stood her beside Yin Yin as he started the process again with the second lady

 From her memories, he found out that her name was Maya, who came from over the seas. She was the mysterious Demoness that was the reason the 12 Righteous Swords were formed for 4500 years ago! Even so, at that time there were many more powerful sects and fighters that banded together against her. But only the 12 survived and evolved to become the 12 Righteous Swords of today.

After controlling her to stand by his other two corpse puppets, Quan Yu started on the last lady. 

As he bonded with her and entered her memories, he found she was named Xhu Lang, the Enchantress. The was a seductress who could capture and control souls and minds. Using her abilities and beauty, she had started amd established the Empire and was the predecessor of the Emperor of today! But she had no martial prowess and committed suicide when she couldn't find a way to stop aging. She was too vain and refused to acknowledge getting old and died before her 45th birthday. 

He stood her beside the others and tried to control more than one of them. But while he could give simple instructions like get all 4 of them lift their right hand simultaneously, he couldn't control them to fight. 

But he could give a generic order to attack, whereby they would attack automatically. However, he feared they will attack blindly without fearing injury, which wasn't ideal.

But now, Rin Er was already able to control Xue Fang and wanted to try it on Xue Ren.

Suddenly, Quan Yu felt a killing intent and automatically blocked

"You vile thing!" a spear thrust, covered in lightning appeared out of nowhere as Quan Yu's sword parried the spear.

The Lightning Spear Zen Hu stood holding the spear, his eyes filled with rage.
