While we are walking towards the demon lord Diavolo, someone suddenly used a magic on us so we are now trapped on some kind of barrier and can't escape for some reason.

Lucy, and Beatrice is nowhere to be found and Elaine is on my side. I knew that Lucy is searching for us, or maybe they are fighting some kind of demon right now.

But it's no time to think about that we need to escape out of this weird barrier.

"So... Elaine... Is it? Do you have any idea where are we right now...?"

"Uhm... No, I do not. But i am sure that this is a work of an enemy (obviously)."

And while me and Elaine are talking, someone sudden appear and approach us.

"Welcome both of you!"

We noticed him right away, and backed off.

"You must be the enemy, huh?"

"Enemy... Huh... Yes! I am your enemy!"

What's wrong with this guy...

"Then... Let me ask you, where are we?"

"... Normally I will not tell an enemy, but... We are on a barrier set by me, though... Even I am the one who set it, I can't go outside without dispelling it. So that means I have to defeat you."

"Thanks for the explanation but you're the one who will be defeated."

I approached him, and as I approach him I quickly Stopped Time.

"Heh... No matter how strong the enemy are... But when they are caught to my ability, it's the end."

I am finally infront of him, i summoned my rapier and aim from his heart. But when I am about to hit him, he suddenly move and dodges the attack.

"!?"

How is this possible?! No one is supposed to move when the time is currently stopped. But he manage somehow.

-- "Ariel-san, did you finished it?"

"Wha..."

How...! Even Elaine, is able to move. Wait, no... That's not it... My ability...

"It can't be... My ability got canceled!"

"That's right!"

"But how?! Even if you have an ability to cancel everyone's ability, you need to at least chant the magic before activating it!"

"Ha! Let me just remind you something, this is just not an ordinary barrier. This my unique ability, Time Barrier! And yes, this is an useless ability for others who can't use time magic, but for you the goddess of time it's effective!"

He knew I was the goddess of time...? Maybe he got the information from the demon lord.

"But still... I still have my rapier!"

I rushed towards him and attacked him with rapid swipes of the rapier, but he dodges it by backing off.

"Elaine! Use fireball on us!"

-- "But, you might get hit!"

"It's okay! Do it!"

Elaine started to chant, and I am still trying to hit the guy with my rapier but for some reason he can dodge all of them.

-- "Fireball!"

Elaine cast a Fireball towards the enemy.

"Barrier is not the only thing I can do!"

He charges towards the Fireball and leap on it. He touched the Fireball and he somehow deflect the Fireball back to Elaine.

I rush towards Elaine and cut the Fireball in half, and destroying both side near us.

"As you can see I can deflect magics too. So it's useless using magics on me."

After that I charged towards him and starts attacking.

"Blade Dance: Hundred Slice."

I did a rapid slicing on him, but he manage to dodge all of them. I need to come up of something or we will do the same thing over and over again.

I got it.

"Elaine! Use electric magic on me!"

-- "Huh? Why?"

"Just do it!"

Elaine cast Thunder on me, and I hope this plan works.

-- "Thunder!"

And as the Thunder about to hit me, I raised my rapier and it got hit by it. It doesn't hurt and the electricity flow to the rapier into my body.

I charge towards the enemy and attacks him, but he dodges it as expected. As I am attacking him, I also making him get to the edge of the barrier.

After some time, we are finally near the edge of the barrier.

"Elaine! Use water magic!"

-- "Ah! I get it!"

"!"

Elaine uses water magic on both me and the enemy.

"You..."

I hit the floor with my rapier, and as plan the electricity flow to the floor and to the enemy.

"Guaaaaaah!!!"

The barrier is slowly getting weaker, and it's time.

"Time Stop!"

The time has stop. I summoned another rapier on my left hand and take a deep breath.

"Dual Blade: Thousand Slice!"

I attacked him and hit mostly all part of his body, his arms and legs also the head is now detached to his torso.

"Continue..."

The time has moved again, and every attack I did to him on the stopped time hitting him all at once and giving him an instant death.

And as expected, bloods splashed all over me. If a innocent person see me like this they might thought I am a serial killer or something...

"Ariel-san! You did it!"

"Gaah! I'm exhaust!"

And right after the battle ended, the both of them shoes up.

-- "Lilith-san, look! They are here!"

"Ah you're right! Woah! That's hella loads of blood! You alright?"

"Yeah I'm fine... What about both of you...?"

"We run into a fight earlier, and it seems you too..."

-- "Ariel-san, let me clean the blood for you."

"Ah. If you please."

-- "First... Water."

Elaine pour water on me.

-- "Then... Cleanse."

The water got cleansed, and now I'm sparkling clean.

"Thank you for this, Elaine."

-- "No it's alright..."

And after a short break we continue our way to the demon lord.

"I'm finally here... The place where the demon lord Diavolo is..."

I was thinking of the enemy's other ability will be rotation which can rotate anything but I didn't :P
