"What about you, Dad? Did you experience something like mom experienced back then?" Ageha looked at the puppy, throwing the issue about his mom's name at the back of his head.

Touka sighed secretly in her head, and rubbed her husband's fur, then began explaining to her son.

"No. Ed's situation was very good compared to other evolved humans."

Staring at his dad, who quickly buried his head in Touka's clothes, feeling ashamed of his existence. Ageha felt his dad really did have a good life, especially with that submissive character of his. 

"Your dad was protected well by mother and father. Moreover, elder brother is a strong evolved human as well."

Hearing this, Ageha exclaimed. "Really?! Seriously, my uncle is the same as us as well! Really unexpected!" 

Touka and Eduardo looked at their son, surprised with what they just heard. But they noticed that Ageha seemed to not realize what he just said and decided to stay quiet for now.

"There is no clear explanation on how demi humans and werebeast occured in this world. Although there are many speculations, there was really no concrete answer. But it was not until your father was fifteen years old did he magically turned into a puppy."

While Eduardo Rocca immersed himself in shame, Touka, on the other hand, couldn't help but imagine her husband that year.

"Mother mentioned it to me before. One morning, the sun still yet to rise, they were woken up by a dog howling and crying loudly in the house. They went to find where the dog was, only to find it in Ed's room. They were shocked at first, and didn't want to believe it, but they have to since Ed is nowhere to be found and found the dog there instead." Touka had yet to finish what she wanted to say, when she felt a tugged in her clothes. She looked down only to see her husband seemed upset?

She recalled every word that she said, and finally found out why her husband was sulking. She chuckled, then caressing his fury back: "Sorry. Of course, Ed is not a dog."

"Huh? Dad is not a dog?" Ageha interjected. 

Hearing his son, Eduardo felt even more upset.

"What are you saying, little butterfly, your father is a fierce wolf."

Having your mother personally shoot you an arrow, Ageha could only glared at her and rebutted intensely: "I'm not a butterfly!"

Smiling, Touka compromised: "Yes, yes. Ageha certainly isn't a butterfly." 

Hearing her sarcastic remarks, Ageha clicked his tongue and changed back the subject to the main point.

"So, what about the first time you met? Don't tell me, it was really love at first sight, but not to dad, but to the "puppy dad"."

Touka made an exaggerated (ﾟοﾟ人)) expression. "Darling, you read too many novels. But that's right. That's how me and your dad met."

"Seriously?!"

"Yes."

Seeing his eager expression, Touka opened her mouth and told him the full and correct story of their love. And their story...it was really like a plot in a novel.

Touka was taking her master's and was chosen by her professor to attend an international seminar abroad. They went there in advance and still had a lot of time before the seminar. So, as a tourist, Touka went to take a look at every tourist attraction she could see with her time. 

On the other hand, Eduardo Rocca went there for research and inspiration. They have a big client who wanted to build a castle. So, as his Architect partner and him went to Europe to look at these well known castles to study. 

It was only a coincidence that Eduardo went to that botanical garden. He heard some tourist saying that there was a very beautiful botanical garden in that place, so he checked it out. 

It was beautiful indeed. 

In fact, Eduardo Rocca acquired many inspirational designs in that garden. He didn't waste his time coming there.

Additionally, he also brought back a wife. No, more like, he was brought back by Touka. 

Eduardo got too excited with the designs he just thought of, and couldn't help but transformed back into a big grey wolf. 

He was taller and larger than humans when he stood on his hind legs. If there were other people there, they would surely be frightened by his appearance. 

Because Eduardo Rocca really did look like a werewolf, he was just missing a full moon.

Eduardo tried for a long time to transform back, but for some reason he couldn't. Panicked, he tried very hard for a long time. But he really can't. He didn't know what to do, so he just sat there like a statue. 

Fortunately, no one came to where he was. Well, except for this unsuspecting butterfly. 

It flew around the big wolf, and finally landed on his nose. Eduardo Rocca sneezed, and as he sneezed, with a "puff" he turned into a puppy. 

Angry, he jumped and ran trying to catched the butterfly using his teeth. He ran all over the place until the butterfly flew towards a certain secluded corner in the garden.

There he saw Touka. 

It was such a fateful meeting. And it was both a romantic and embarrassing meeting for Eduardo that made him want to dig deeper on the ground to hide everytime he remembered that fateful meeting.

When Eduardo saw someone else in the garden he was frightened. He stumbled and slipped, falling right before Touka's feet. 

On the other hand, Touka felt her heart go soft towards the poor little guy. It seemed stupid, she thought. 

There, she brought the puppy back to her hotel. Thankfully, pets were allowed in there or else, Eduardo Rocca might become a stray dog, sleeping under the bridge.

The seminar lasted for a week, and Eduardo Rocca stayed with her within that period of time. 

Fortunately, Eduardo managed to access Touka's laptop one night and contacted his partner. Since only his family knew that he was an evolved person, Eduardo just randomly made an excuse to his friend, and let him fly back to the Philippines on his own. 

Still, there was another problem. As a puppy, Eduardo can't just ride the airplane with Touka without proper documentation. Even Touka was immersed in this dilemma. 

Of course, Eduardo didn't want to be left alone in another country. For the first time, he cried and whined cutely at Touka. Touka relented, of course. 

Without knowing that the puppy in her arms was originally human, Touka revealed her powers. 

Touka hid Eduardo in her personal bag, then concealed the puppy's presence from the sensor in the airport. She was so nervous that day. Thankfully it all went well in the end.

Touka and Eduardo returned to the Philippines.

"Woah~ really. What would happen if mom isn't living in the Philippines, dad? If you became human again, are you going to be deported back?"

Eduardo barked and growled at his son's remark. This son of his, he didn't know why, but he really felt that sometimes he had a few loose screws in his head. 

But, he really did have a point...

On the other hand, Touka softly laughed at this father and son interaction. "You're right, darling. Maybe that's why it was fated. Not only that..." Touka kissed the top of Eduardo's head. "Ed and I were neighbors in the same apartment. We don't have the same sched., So we rarely meet each other. But it was really such a coincidence."
