Synopsis

Pandemic descended upon the Earth, eating away 1/3 of the human population within just five years.

As the death toll rose to the heights of the sky, both political and science professionals were helpless. Corpses turning to ashes were faster than researchers hands in doing the vaccines.

Still, people didn't give up.

And so, after five years, a miracle appeared that changed both the lives of everyone and humanity itself.

–Evolutionary Humans.

...

A week ago, Ageha found out that he was an evolutionary human.

Staring at Emperor Augustus, Ageha's guardian beast, flying leisurely at the garden, he could only sighed deeply.

He wondered if Emperor Augustus is really a guardian beast, since it was an insect. Thinking about this, Ageha couldn't help but feel anxious.

He grinds on the nail in his thumb, feeling apprehensive, when he feels something touching his waist.

Ageha was pulled back, and bumped into something firm yet soft body. A slender arm roughly wrapped around his waist, and he could feel warm breaths touching his sensitive nape.

Knowing who it was, Ageha couldn't help but shiver.

Then Ageha felt something crawling from the inside of his clothes. Coming from the arms that embraced him, something dark and hairy came inside his clothes, crawling upwards on his skin.

Ageha felt goosebumps all over his body.

Waiting as that creature finally emerged from his collar, Ageha felt that soft and feathery touch that made him feel creeped out, and from the corner of his eyes, he saw it– something dark and hairy, at the same time, huge and creepy creature with eight legs and eight eyes.

Ageha lost his soul on the spot.

Meanwhile, seeing his frozen state, Ariadne chuckled seductively from behind his back. Then tightened her arms around his waist.

Ariadne: "You don't have to worry..."

Ageha wanted to cry without tears, he could feel Ariadne licking his nape and felt helpless about it.

Ariadne: "Spider Lily is the same."

As she said that, Ageha could feel that hairy spider reaching his chin, and even wanting to climb to his face!

Feeling panicked, Ageha refuted weakly: "...s-spider lily is a flower..."

Ariadne: "Hn? But my Spider Lily is a tarantula, and especially likes to eat butterflies."

Ageha panicked even more: "No, no, no, no. Emperor Augustus is just a monarch butterfly, a total ornamental one. He certainly doesn't taste good."

Ariadne: "Oh? Then I'll eat you instead."

Ageha: "!!?"
