*CHIRP CHIRP CHIRP*
Birds sings happily in the morning when the sunlight touching my sleep nest, waking me up from my dream.
*STREEEETCH! HOAM!*
“Morning me, this day is our official first day in Isekai”
Said me to me while walking half asleep towards the waterfall, fulfilling nature call and then washing my face.
Surprisingly, I got familiar with my new body faster than I thought it would be, I didn’t feel any embarrassment whatsoever like what I always reads on novel or manga.
“Hm… what breakfast I will make today? We have… bread, canned food, some veggies, bacon, and ham”
I decided to make toast with bacon and ham with some lettuce, I already learning some simple magic from the encyclopedia like [ignite] to lit up campfire, it’s kinda exciting to create a fire from your finger tip.
After finishing my breakfast, I’m reading the encyclopedia again, the book itself is quite thin and small but it contains so much information.
How to use it is quite easy, I just need to think what I needs to know and flip any pages of it and voila! It’s even has detailed and colored pictures in it!.
This encyclopedia mentioned that this world has 6 magic attributes, it’s [air], [earth], [water], [fire], [dark], and [light], each had counter effects against other attribute but their level can contributing in their countermeasures to their weaknesses.
But there is weird things with [dark] and [light] attributes, they’re nearly can’t be countered by other 4 attributes and these two attributes can only nullify each other, of course the level rules still have some effect on both attributes according to the encyclopedia.
There’s another magic like convenience magic, non-attribute magic, and legendary magic, convenience magic is the common one where everyone can use it no matter what their attributes is, one example of most used convenience magic is [ignite] that used to start fire.
There’s other convenience magic beside [ignite] but they’re rarely used because various reasons, like it was conditional to use it or there was another easier and simpler way to do something the magic can do.
Next is non-attribute magic or often called as abilities, unfortunately non-attribute magic can’t be used as attack magic like the attributes one, but it can be used for something like increasing user’s stats or something else for some amount of time or in rare cases it can lasted for eternity.
Anyone can learn and have a same non-attribute magic but the efficiency will diverse from each person, this efficiency including how much mana it’ll cost, how strong the effect it’ll produced, and how long it’ll last, this is why most people will not use the same non-attribute magic if its efficiency is low or not suits their occupation.
The last is the legendary magic which is the rarest magic that appeared only few times in Fairmallow long history, you can’t learned nor obtained it by any possible means because only God Abner who can granted someone worth enough to have a legendary magic, [gate] is one example of legendary magic that ever recorded by current civilization.
“Hm… should I do some attributes confirmation?”
Attributes confirmation is as the name suggest to confirming if you have an attribute or more, most people only have 1 attribute when the rare one have 2 attributes and the rarest have 3 attributes, sometimes someone didn’t even have any attribute but it’s a very rare occurrence and usually they still can use convenience and non-attribute magic.
“By using the power the God Abner bestowed upon me, come forth [water]!”
A small stream of water gushing out of my index finger tip, I celebrated it happily that I have [water] attribute, of course I tried another attributes if somehow I have 3 attributes.
I tried [fire] then a flame came out, then I tried [earth] then a small amount of sand come out, after that I tried [air] then a wind came out, of course you can’t see wind so I directed it into a pile of sand from earlier and it got blown away, next I tried [dark] and [light] then a small dark haze and a light like that of flashlight comes out.
“So… I can use all 6 attributes… well, it’s not like it’ll surprise me anyway”
I’m already read so many isekai themed novels and mangas where the reincarnated MC is OP as hell so nothing of these had any effect on me, now that I’m already become an OP MC so why not doing something like one? And talking about non-attribute magic… it reminds me of something.
“… [inventory]”
*ZWING! PING!*
Suddenly something like user interface appeared in front of me showing blank squares, is it that inventory? It’s kinda remind me of that survival game.
“Hm… how did I supposed to use this thing… well, let’s ask encyclopedia then”
I immediately takes the encyclopedia and searching on how to use [inventory], there was various way to use [inventory] inside the encyclopedia, the first one is I can take an object then shove it into [inventory] user interface, to take it out I only need to insert my hand into [inventory] user interface and grab the things I want to take out.
Other methods is by using [inventory] door that looks like a portal then throw the goods inside it as this means literally as what written on the encyclopedia, to takes the goods out is the same as using [inventory] user interface.
Another methods is without any mediums where I only need to choose what things in my view range that I want to store then thought the spell, it will go straight to the [inventory] and I only need to do the reverse when I want to take the things out.
“Now that I has [inventory]… what if I… [status]”
*ZWING! PING!*

What’s wrong with these stats and titles? Am I some sort of divine being descended from heaven? Well I’m literally descended from up there though, anyway there’s something odd with the [status] interface.
“Why the name slot is marked as ‘?’, am I nameless?”
I’m tried to touch the name slot and then another user interface pop up with keyboard bellow it.
“Hm… after all, why not? Why shouldn’t I change my own name?”
I chuckled when remembering that meme, it always makes me laugh.
*PIP PIP PIP PIP PIP*
I’m typed my name in then pressed ‘Yes’ button and now my officially name is Leony Sanjaya! Well, I’m just added ‘y’ at the back of my old name ‘Leon’ though, well whatever.
*KWAK KWAK*
Before I knew it the sun is already high up there, I decided to rest and go makes some sandwiches for lunch, after lunch I’m going to the forest to gather some woods and… maybe some fruits and mushrooms?.
I learned new non-attribute magic as I go gathering woods and foods, [appraisal] is the most useful non-attribute magic for gathering activity like this, that way I can identify which plants is edible and which one is poisonous and of course some medicinal herbs too.
I’m back to the cave when the sun is setting then go preparing for dinner, after cooking for dinner I go bathing myself when it nearly dusk, I go changed my clothes after bath and then go eat my dinner inside my tent at its entrance.
When night comes I lit up a lantern then hanging it on a hook at the middle of the tent ceiling, the lantern is looks like a hurricane lantern but using a magic stone in it, I read the encyclopedia again to kill some time before I turn off the lantern and go to sleep.
Like [null] magic that often called 'personal magic', it's because just one person who can use this kind of magic and usually there's no two persons who can wield same [null] magic.
But unfortunately not all [null] magic is useful, just a fraction of them who can considered as useful hence it often called 'special ability' by their users.
Then there's [summon] magic who can calls upon magic beasts but sometimes it can calls divine beast or demon beast, all person can learn it but not all can obtain it, it's because [summon] magic depends on how much magic power someone wields.
But then there's same condition as [null] magic has, because magic beasts summons depends on magic power someone has, it comes in varying levels that not all summoned magic beasts is useful.
smarphone?
well, anyway here go "reading list"
To be honest it's like that sumartofon thing but different
Btw thank for reading
I don't want to said that it's improvised though because it's basically fusion of many ideas and I don't want anyone to spill it
@The_LaidBackMan as much as it's a logical choice, "null magic" never sounded right to me... Sure, it's None Attribute magic, so that bit is null, but it sounds too much like it's "magic that isn't magic" or "empty magic"... At least "original" or "personal" matches what it sounds like /rant
1. Why as answer to ma com?
2. Just go as "Unique Magic"
3. If you have 5 school of magic and 4 of them are more or less ok for anyone to use... 5 school is null right?
@kcck
1. I recognised the source... But while we can all grace opinions, only one of us is the author ... Ok, seriously though, no special reason
2. That is an option, and I do like the term, but it sounds like magic that can only ever be used by one person, which isn't quite right either.
3. Null is literally "invalid" or "no value", hence why I said logical. I just feel icky having an entire class of magic be "invalid magic".
@kaithar
1. heh... ok.
2. "Unique Magic" is good, becous:
Like [null] magic that often called 'personal magic', it's because just one person who can use this kind of magic and usually there's no two persons who can wield same [null] magic.
3. If you have fire, wind, earth, water magic AND anybody "magician" can use it... That one magic that's spell is useble for one, two, or three person won't be "useful magic"... rater it has opinion of "invalid magic" because... well almost no body can use it...
@kcck intersting....
2. That is why it's an option, it's just that "usually" bit, there's no rule that says it's only one. Maybe it's a spell that appears for multiple people in a bloodline. Maybe it's something so simple or common that multiple people can have it, like a weak boost spell. Most systems have loopholes in original magic to allow for doing interesting things with idea.
3. I'm not sure how well that argument holds... there are usually rare attributes in a system that can only be used by a small group, and even for more common elements the people who can't use it will always considerably out number the people who can, and even if you can use it there's a knowledge requirement as well. How useful a spell is seems relative. That doesn't make it invalid though, it's still magic even if no one can use it, that's how we get the groups for things like "lost magic", "situational magic" and such.
I do like the notion that it's magic that doesn't fit in the framework though, it could be considered as having "invalid requirements" since there's a condition that can't be classified normally.
@kaithar
Maybe it's a spell that appears for multiple people in a bloodline
... And they call it "bloodline magic" (nobility are too big of jerks...)
Maybe it's something so simple or common that multiple people can have it, like a weak boost spell.
... and they call it "Everyday magic"...
and for 3...
I can do this and that witch fire!
I can do this and that without fire!
AND DACK YOU TOO...
more like this... :P
people are selfish and greedy... so they do anything to make it bad for anyone better than they are.
@kcck
nobility are too big of jerks...
So true. I've seen the term "Life magic" used too, but they're all just flavours of non-systemic magic with a name related to their particular quirk... naming sucks. Speaking of naming... Systemic vs Systematic bah.
Almost everything is better with fire.
