“Hey! Where are you going to? Let me tag along too!”

Auguste comes out from the house while barking at me and mother, he come out through a pet door that I made sometimes ago, it just a wood board with a hole across one side of it where I inserted a small iron rod through it, then I make a hole a little bit bigger than the wood board near the bottom of the door and two small cut out for the iron rod.

After that I just need to assemble all things together, I first inserted the iron rod into the hole in the wood board then put the excess of the iron rod into the cut out on the door, after that I patches the cut out with a small piece of wood then screw it to the door and voila! The simple pet door is done.

“Hm? You want to tag along? Okay, go sit on mother’s lap”

“Yay!”

He so happy until he do backflip then run to where mother sit, I told mother on how to open the door from inside and after the door opened Auguste hopped onto mother’s lap, after mother shut close the door I started the car.

*BRUUUMMM*

“Whoa! Leony?! Why this thing is vibrates so much?!”

“Calm down mother, it just means that this car is working”

Mother surprised as I started the car, well this car is from 90s so vibration all over the car body is expected considering insulation for economic family car on that era is not yet implemented.

“You call this thing ‘car’ Leony?”

“Well, it was what’s written on encyclopedia though”

“Is that so? So this magic tool name is car?”

“Yeah… you can interpret it that way… anyway, let’s go!”

*CLICK CLACK BRUUUMMM*

I moved the stick gear on 1st gear then pushing the gas pedal while releasing the clutch slowly and then the car slowly move forwards, I tried to drove the car to nearby road which is about 100 meters to the south from my house, the ride is quite bumpy because we go through the tree roots that are poking out of the ground.

“Ah finally, road! Are you two okay?”

“Wow, it surprisingly comfortable even though we just got bumpy road because of the tree roots”

I drove the car to the east into Ursprung forest when I asked mother and brother about their condition, surprisingly mother gives a good impression about the ride even though this car suspension is quite problematic when on bumpy uneven road.

“Hey Leony, what’s this thing in the middle”

Auguste asked me while staring at the tape deck on the middle of the car, mother attention got distracted by Auguste question while she watching the scenery along the road earlier.

“This is what we use to play music when we ride the car, same as what I used at home but just a bit different”

“Oh… so we can play music when riding the car? I thought that it can be played only on fixed places like magiphone”

“Magiphone? What is that?”

“Uhm… it’s something with box base from wood, a magic sphere that contains the music, and a funnel-like thing that attached to one side of the box base, I once saw it at an expensive dining hall”

…wait, box base? Funnel-like thing? Why this magiphone thing sounds like a gramophone to me?.

“Is that so? Then, why is it can be played only on fixed places mother?”

“Because it’s quite cumbersome to operate and consumes a lot of mana for it to working, moreover it was an expensive thing”

“Then… why is it still exist even with those drawbacks?”

“Well, it was used mainly by nobles and rich people to entertain themselves considering it was cheaper to own a magiphone than renting a small orchestra group from time to time”

Hmm… that makes sense, no matter how rich a person is, there’s no one sane person will rent a small orchestra group just for entertaining themselves whenever they got bored.

“Then, I’ll start the music I always played at home, okay?”

“That’s okay, your music is always good to hear, right? Leony?”

I’m just chuckled hearing my mother said that, I stopped the car for a moment to take out an auxiliary cord and my phone from [inventory] then after the auxiliary cord got plugged into the tape deck and my phone I play the music, this road is fairly quiet and no one passed here so it’s okay if I stop my car here.

Ursprung forest has 2 roads that connected to a beautiful beach at the east side of the forest, where I and my family now is the north road near north mountain range which is calm and no dangerous monsters as eyes can see, while the south road is near coastal areas and usually low and some medium class monsters roaming around that area which is used by adventurers to do their quest.

That’s why I’m testing my new car on this north road because this road is nearly never used contrary to the south road that always full of adventurers nearly all the year even on winter, I think maybe that this north road is only used whenever someone wanted to go to the beach on the east by using save and calm way.

“Hm hm~, hm? Oh! I can see the beach! Let’s stop by there and have a lunch”

“Hm… not a bad idea, let’s go shall we?”

*bark!*“Yay! Beach!”

I’m only smiled as I heard Auguste flooding excitement, we arrived at the beach when the sun right above our head and then we preparing for lunch, I take out a picnic bench and a basket full of sandwiches from my [inventory], it sure is a good thing to have learning skill level 10, I can drive a car in no time and… maybe I’ll learn some drifting and what not.

“I impressed by your car Leony, it can bring us here in short amount of time with comfortable ride that I nearly didn’t feel any bumps”

“Really? That car is still on its standard condition, it will be more comfier and of course faster with some modification”

“It can get more comfier and faster!? That’s awesome!*chomp!*”

Auguste happily chomping his sandwiches he holds on both his hands, that’s right, he’s now on his human form but his animal ears are still on his head, it’s because he used a potion to help him transform which is purchased by mother a few months ago when she go to somewhere.

“Mother, can I play at the water?”

“It’s okay, but don’t go too far, okay?”

“Yeay! Thanks mother!”

“Hm? Leony? You’re not playing with Auguste? Are you didn’t like sea water?”

“Ah… no, it just that I’ll drive the car after this so…”

“It’s okay Leony to act mature but, I hope you can act more spoiled like your brother, alright?”

My heart throbbing after hearing that, deep down inside me is still remembered that ‘I’ is a 20-something years old young man that live inside this 7 years old girl body, I told to live my life as freely as I want and I do it, it’s not like I didn’t behave like my age because it just what’s inside ‘me’, if I don’t behave like a kids then what-

“Ack! This water is so salty!”

“Pfft! Jeez, that is why we don’t drink sea water directly Auguste!”

“Water! Give me water!”

“Hahaha, okay okay, here”

I take out a bottle of water from [inventory] as I walked towards Auguste, Auguste foolish action wakes me up from my thoughts, looks like my ‘overthinking over something' is still inside my old soul, maybe I need to relax and live my life as it is, it sure is useless to overthinking something.

We’re going back after the sun got a bit inclined to the west or about 2:30 PM on my phone, Auguste and I who playing at sea water is cleaning ourselves from salty sea water using my magic, after I stored everything inside [inventory] we get on the car again but now mother and Auguste is on back seat with Auguste napping on mother’s lap.
